Scam!!!

Scam!!!
They charge $100 for a proof of insurance. They are obligated to provide the proof of insurance to their clients - it’s their job!! I am in real estate and deal with vendors all day long - i know how this works.
Scheduling is terrible. They don’t give you any options to chose from they just tell you when they are coming and it’s very last minute
Delivery people are very low quality work force.
Stay away from them and any store that uses them (like Coleman Furnitrue)

David and John Did a Polished Job

David and John called us and said they were coming in 10 minutes and they were prompt, coming in their Penske truck and within the delivery window. They were efficient and effective, doing the fridge install in 45 minutes. David was clear about what I needed to do when I turned the main water supply back on. He said to turn off the partial water break for the kitchen, but I didn't know how to do that. So, he coached me clearly on what to do when I turned the main water back on. He was also very understandable, repeating himself when necessary like a good teacher - I am a teacher - on how to run the water to clear out the air from the pipes after turning it back on. His instructions on throwing away two batches of ice - 24 hours each - was also helpful. John worked efficiently in the background putting doors back on and cleaning up. David was also personable while working efficiently, as we shared about our lives a little. Bardzo dobje guys! - very good guys! - John will understand that Polish.

Delivered to couch and did significant…

Delivered to couch and did significant damage to my home. When I asked them on the day of delivery, how to file a claim the delivery people, and the dispatcher both told me to wait for a call from the claims department. I was told this again a day later when I asked again. I was never called and called several other times only to find out that you have to email the claims department within two days to file a valid claim. The communication and delivery from this company have caused serious damage with no viable process to recover.

Delivery of refrigerator and W/D combo

I ordered a refrigerator and washer/dryer combo from AJ Madison in NY, to be delivered to Oakland, CA. Delivery was within the expected timeframe, and when I had to reschedule my delivery date, Customer Service was courteous and helpful. There was a four hour window on delivery day. I received a robo call day of delivery alerting me to the truck’s arrival in 45 minutes. They were on time and courteous, and put my items in my garage as requested. I’m very pleased with the service.

This company is a pile of dog crap.

We ordered a tv September 1st from Walmart. Sounds promising…not with AM home delivery involved.

First time they deliver we tell them we aren’t finished with the patio space and they say no problem we will reschedule. They fail to inform us the warehouse is 6 hours away. Two weeks later still nothing, every time we call we get passed to some scrub customer service person who keeps telling us we might be able to deliver next week or maybe the week after that… we ask for a manager, still nothing a week later. Finally about a
Month after first delivery attempt the truck shows up…whoops somehow they forgot to load the tv on the truck 6 hours away that morning….

Absolutely a joke of a company, no idea why wal mart or any other company would use them. Run by clowns clearly…still nothing tv.

I am beyond frustrated with this…

I am beyond frustrated with this company! I ordered a beautiful dining room table and only received the chairs.I had to take off from work and wait for it to be delivered. They couldn't figure out where the table was until a couple days later, when they realized it was in their own warehouse.
I called KM furniture to help me push them to deliver it over the weekend so I wouldn't have to take another day off. They completely ignored me and st it up for Tuesday and then cancelled and set it up for Wednesday. I just received a call from them cancelling the delivery after I took off another day from work! Now they don't know when it will be delivered. I called KM again who said they would call the manager of AM home delivery and now I have been ghosted by both companies!!! Still no table and all is paid in full.

Michael Moreno made my delivery…

Michael Moreno made my delivery great!!! He is smart, intuitive, understanding and flexible. He did a fabulous job of dealing with my 100 year old house with tight corners and steps.

He has a high EQ (emotional quotient)! He can read people. Keep him. Even better, promote him.

If I could give this company negative stars I would

Wow where do I even start with you people? This is truly a series of the worst customer service experiences of my entire life. My fiancé and myself got the confirmation that you all had received the bookshelf on 7/23/25. You confirmed a delivery date WITHOUT asking us for 7/31/25. My fiancé called and got ahold of someone who said we'd get another email with a different day (supposedly the following Tuesday) and nobody ever contact us. I called again the following week twice and got the same garbage from two different customer service agents in the same week. My fiancé is a physican and I am a neuroscientist - we cannot take time off to receive a delivery. We requested the delivery be done on a M/W/S/S, but each time we called (mostly me, twice a week), we got the runaround that someone will contact us, someone will contact us. Only after the 6th phone call did someone bother to tell us that our address is not on the route for M/W and they can only deliver T/Tr. That is just asinine - you are a delivery company and this is your LITERAL JOB. This went on and on - we had to get the company that we bought the bookcase from to contact someone with at least a smidge of competence in this company to schedule a delivery date. We called you people again and were told that if we could not find a delivery date before the end of the week we would be charged a storage fee. Your employees, one woman in particular whose name escapes me, were horribly rude to us. We are understandably angry at the runaround you people are giving us, but to sass a customer on the phone is unacceptable - that woman should be fired. She got to the point that she recognized the order number and stopped trying to help us entirely. I'm sure if you look in your records you can find out who she was - not that you will bother to improve any aspect of whatever you attempt to do at this company. We finally got the bookshelf delivered on 8/23/25 - 30 days after you all received it. Shoutout to Joe at AM who actually go this scheduled in 3 days and got us a weekend day that worked for us. That was not without its problems. I called to change the phone number associated with the order to my fiancé's so that the driver could contact the appropriate number since I was not available. Despite confirming that twice on the phone, you still called me while I was out of town and could not answer my phone. When I called the number back, the driver was also rude to me as to why I did not pick up the phone. Nor did he bother to ring the doorbell - he just called and said "I'm here." The only positive part of this experience is that it is over. The amount of stress, nonsense, and utter incompetence we have had to deal with for a month is unbelievable. If I find out I ever have to deal with you morons ever again, I will cancel my order immediately.

This has been the worst experience of…

This has been the worst experience of my life. The tracking number delivery time showed I was delivery number 26. I was watching the tracking all day and then it shows they were at number 24 stop. The driver calls me and says they're at my house and I was their last step, which was false. After calling, it was confirmed the driver skipped other stops and came to my residence when I was not at home yet. I explained my neighbor could sign for the package and they took off asap after lying about waiting around for so long. They even said on the phone my driveway was too much for them to carry the refrigerator to my door because they couldn't fit their truck up my driveway. I called within 11 minutes to confirm my neighbor could sign and they said we are already gone. And now they're saying I have to pay a re-delivery fee because they couldn't wait for my neighbor to come sign the release. Horrible company, I would not recommend!!!!

Absolute worst delivery experience of…

Absolute worst delivery experience of my life. Delivery guys tried to just dump the delivery in my driveway when I had paid for white glove set up. They acted mad that they had to assemble the bed in my designated room. They left all the trash from the assembly in the bedroom and then left all the empty boxes and trash sitting in my driveway. Literally the most rude delivery people I’ve ever dealt with. I called and complained and the phone operator tried to defend some of their actions. A big fat NO to this company!

Absotutely useless company you should…

Absotutely useless company you should avoid at all costs. Took 2 weeks to deliver bathtub for what is a 4 hour drive and even then driver refused to bring it to our front door as he claimed road was too narrow. He clearly was unable to drive a truck, even his driver assistant said he could've got up the road. Driver described it as "not my problem". We had to take our truck to meet his one on the main road. Are rude on the phone as well.

Not a positive experience

Not a positive experience. The first time was good. The 2nd time, I stayed home from work and they did not arrive after waiting the full 3.5 hours window. I called them and asked for a manager to call me and they did not. I emailed management and explained the situation and they did not return my email.
The 3rd time, I got 3 calls they were coming 2 hours ago and that they were 15 minutes away and then a few minutes away and I am still waiting...they have no idea what they are doing and have no control over their deliveries.

Nightmare experience!!!

I purchased appliances and scheduled the delivery/install for my daughter (the homeowner). She was given a time window within which the appliances would be delivered. On the day of delivery, the technicians arrived earlier than the time-window that was given. My daughter was not yet home from work, so she called my husband (her father) requesting that he meet the driver. My husband drove over to meet the driver after waking our grandchild from his nap so he could go.

Upon arrival and after providing access to the home, the crew began working. The 3 technicians spoke Spanish, so it was unclear what their plan was. No protective drop cloths were used to prep the entry/kitchen floors resulting in dirt (and ultimately mud) being dragged through the entry/kitchen. One of the 3 technicians attempted to close a shutoff valve to the dishwasher under the sink. No request was made for my husband to perform the shutoff. The technician must have thought the water was turned off because he disconnected the dishwasher and water started pouring out onto the kitchen floor. It took some time to find the water main shutoff given my husband was unfamiliar with the home. By the time the water main was shut off, the flowing water had pooled into puddles on top of the floor while also seeping under the cabinets and into the living room. The water also seeped under the kitchen floor, causing the floorboards to shift and begin curling up. I arrived at the home when my husband was toweling up the mess. I immediately called customer service and explained what was happening. The customer service agent documented everything and asked to speak to the driver. I put her on speaker. I asked her if she was able to hear the discussion and she said she couldn’t understand what was being said. One of the technicians did not speak at all as I believe he did not speak any English. The second technician was very ill-suited to be conversing with customers as he didn’t understand much of the English being spoken and was unable to respond to questions/concerns raised without intervention from the third technician. The third technician also struggled with communication, but his English was better than the other 2. The lack of English-speaking technicians made the situation more chaotic and frustrating than it already was.

Given the condition of the floor, I told the customer service agent that I didn’t think the install could continue. The main technician wanted to install the appliances even though water was still seeping out from under the floor into the areas where the appliances would be located. I showed him that the water was still seeping out from under the floor. It was very clear the damage would require the floor to be replaced as it wouldn’t be possible to pull up the damaged floor, dry out the area and reinstall the same damaged floor. It was also very troubling that the technician thought it was safe to work with electricity where water was present (and the conditions of the wet floors made it unsafe to carry large appliances into the area where someone could easily slip and fall).

The technicians had already unpacked the appliances in the garage. The appliances were partially prepped for installation. Being unable to continue with the installation, the appliances were left in the garage in their then current state. As an aside on the appliance preparation, while prepping one of the appliances, one of the technicians asked for “tape”. When trying to figure out what he was requesting, I asked if he meant electrical tape. He shook his head, ‘yes’. I asked why the crew didn’t have all the tools/supplies to install the appliances, and with very broken English, I believe he said the tape was left at the last job.?. It’s very disturbing that only one roll of tape was on the truck given it was a “must have” supply.

In wrapping up, the old appliances had already been loaded onto the truck, leaving no working appliances for the homeowner. Perishables were in coolers with no refrigerator to put them in. The technicians were driving away with the old appliances when my husband ran after the truck asking that the appliance packaging be taken as part of the haul-away. The driver called out the window that the crew was not responsible for taking the packaging.

When all was said and done, my daughter and family were left with a flooded kitchen and living room, damaged floors, no water, and no working appliances. Because my daughter and her family were unable to live in the home with the water turned off and no working appliances, the flooring was removed and the area dried out so new flooring could be quickly installed. New flooring was installed on an emergency basis, the appliances were installed with other assistance, and the water was turned back on.

Fridge stuck in the back Porch

Our refrigerator needed to have the doors removed to get into our home. That's not unusual. The delivery guys didn't have time to do that, so it was left in our back porch. The company wanted to charge us again for them to come back and finish the job. It has been a nightmare to try and get AM Delivery to come back and finish the job. 3 days later and still our fridge sits on the porch. I would never recommend this delivery company. They are unresponsive and rude.

I ordered a washer and dryer from AJ…

I ordered a washer and dryer from AJ Madison that was delivered by AM Home delivery. I also paid for installation and haul away. I can say I was nervous but the whole experience was great! The delivery was on time and I was kept up to date. The installers were very quick and made sure everything worked before they left. I am very, very pleased!!!

Such a horrible service.

Such a horrible service.
I am so disappointed with them.
I ordered 2 small refrigerators from AJ Madison and they shipped with them. I waited 10 days for them to arrive and 2 more days to arrange the local delivery. Then as per the company they brought them to our address at 6:30 AM couldn't wait until I open the door and left. Now they say that they will deliver after 5 days and in order for me to pick up myself they are asking a permit from the seller. I didn't have such horrible customer service so far. Nobody cares about the customers!
Never would recommend!

Horrible service

Horrible service, This needed to be assembled, i was down the street and told driver to take package out and get it ready to assemble and he said no and hung up on me, i seen him and honked my horn and called him and again to stop and he hung up. I called the office, one lady picked up and when i was explaining she hung up, i called again and spoke with Diane and she said they cant turn around. I told her they would of been there for an hour or more because i paid for the install. Horrible customer interaction. Sylvester was the drivers name, i dont want him anywhere near my house to my package.
