Awful customer service, quality gone down the drain
Bought a 24 pack of 'supreme quilts' of equivalent quality to corner shop brands, sent a complaint and in response they phoned me at 9:30 in the morning followed by an emailed medical questionnaire. Intrusive and rude on top of their clearly declining standards. Will be searching for a new brand.
Andrex moist toilet tissues have now…
Andrex moist toilet tissues have now reduced the sheets per packet from 40 to 35 without highlighting this. The number of sheets is no longer quoted, I found the 35 on an ourter box.
Not as good as they were and now significantly poorer value for money
The quality of Andrex Ultimate Quilts…
The quality of Andrex Ultimate Quilts is very poor. I always used Supreme Quilts, but Tesco don't seem to do them now, only Ultimate Quilts. Paper disintegrates on use, need to use more which isn't very cost effective. Think I'll need to find another manufacturer. Not at all happy.
Been using Andrex toilet roll for…
Been using Andrex toilet roll for decades, but have now changed as was shocked at the poor quality of the last lot I bought. It was thin, tore too easily in the wrong places and no longer soft to touch. God knows how this got past quality control. However I suspect that Andrex already know this and think it's absolutely fine. Well it's not. Bye bye!
Worst Toilet paper EVER
I gave it a one, cos you cannot give it 0 stars!!! I always buy alternatives.. but one day they had none, all that was left was Andrex, which I have always avoided because its too expensive... this time, had no option, so bought a pack of 4! Seriously, this is THE WORST LOO PAPER I have ever seen and I am shocked that I have alawys thought its the best one!!!! Flaky, ever powdery, uneven thickness through all four rolls!!!! NEVER AGAIN
I would score it lower if I could
I would score it lower if I could.
Not sure what's happened to qualify control.
BUT toilet rolls are bad. Should be double ply but half the roll is either single or got a second ply that's doubled over.
I'm presuming they've changed supplier
Probably need a rethink.
Andrex wipes that are now perfumed
Andrex wipes were perfect been using them for years when the packet was the old classic clean, the fragrance was barely noticeable and gentle to use. the tissue itself was stronger also.
Since changing the packaging ive noticed the product is not as good and has obviously been changed. the blue packet micellar falls to bits easily, rips very easily and comes out of the packer in clumps, very wasteful.
I buy them by the box at costco every month, however last purchase end april product was highly perfumed, and the packet said on it odour nutralisation which is new markings! but so much strong perfume it was more fragranced than a room freshner. I used the wipes after passing urine and omg the wipe burned my skin felt like pouring a bottle of fragranced detergent on my privates! REDICULOUS & dangerous Andrex stop trying to be all things to all people you are not selling room freshner, we dont need odour nutralisation, we need clasic clean NOT HIGHLY PERFUMED WIPES
Morning Andre toilet rolls are so thin…
Andre toilet rolls are so thin bits drop off when you upen the roll, never mind about using them. I can't believe the change What has happened. I have been with the brand for years.
Not anymore.
worst toilet rolls
These toilet rolls are the dearest and worst on the market, never buy again
It is much too flimsy now
The quality of Andrex classic has been poor since the name change to classic clean, but the recent pack of the same product was just nasty. It seem to just disintegrate while using it.
Therefore, after over 30 years of using Andrex I have switched to a different brand - what a difference in quality! Very pleased I have made the switch.
A great product in some respects butt with limitations
Whilst great pains are taken to publicise the efficacy of the product it simply does not completly do what you were hoping for. If you think your "clean" enlist the help of a significant other or fearless friend to have a whiff. There told you so.
Its estimated that 32 metric tons of the stuff is transported around by the great british public on a daily basis. In more civilised parts of the World they use bidets or hand sprays and soap to wash and clean with. In fact if you ever go to the Mid and Far East virtually every home will have a hand spray in their bathroom and toilet.
So for the rest of us its the more primitave piece of disposable paper that does remove more than the corn cobs used in roman times but still no matter how hard you try leave residue.
So its not about price, two ply or 3 ply or how many rolls its whether you want to be clean or not.
PS If you want to know how well toilet tissue performs buy yourself a packet of moist wipes and use them to check how well youve done with toilet paper. You may well be shocked with the results. The moral of the story is that you need to install a bidet or hand spray. Wash with soap and water for a more hygienic/civilised outcome.
Quality went down the pan
Quality went down the pan, significantly!
Since they renamed the blue pack 'Complete Clean' it has been completely useless.
They've made it so thin now, that your finger literally rips through the the paper when you try to wipe. Tried other Andrex and seems the quality is also bad.
Used Andrex for over 14 years. Never again
Quality has gone down the toilet so to…
Quality has gone down the toilet so to speak. Paper is so thin and rolls are smaller . What's happened to andrex . Will stick to Tesco quilted from now on.far superior and thicker than andrex
Andrex toilet roll wiping out the end result
Andrex toilet tissue ‘going down the pan’ thinner paper, smaller narrower sheets, worse perforation, bigger cardboard core even the puppy looks sad - why would a company with a previously premium product go down this route to save costs and ‘Wipe out the end result’
Andrex ultimate quilts ultimate rip…
Andrex ultimate quilts ultimate rip off.
you should be embarrassed by your terrible standards you’ve not quite reached an all time low standard of 1980’s school toilet roll but you’re in good competition if you carry on
I've come in this pagexzzs
I've come in this page, just to make sure it wasn't just my imagination, as regards the quilted toilet paper. It seems definitely thinner than before. What attracted me in the first place was it's thickness, it's very expensive but I thought I'd buy them anyway. Not anymore. I tried an alternative brand and am so glad I did. My only regret is that I currently have two 16 rolls and a partly used pack of about 12 left over, so won't be finishing them any time soon.
Ordinarily I wouldnt bother my arse but…
Ordinarily I wouldnt bother my arse but this product by Andrex is only fit for the bin. Thats where our two packs of 24 rolls are going anyway. They are the Andrex ultimate quilts. It says ultimate skin comfort OMG !! Slippery small sheets, of what must surely be impregnated with recyclable plastic !! They dont publish an E Mail address, wonder why ?
Anyway, if you want you bottom left dirty and your fingers covered in you know what then by all means buy this junk at a highly inflated price
Do you think we are Thick
Do you think we are Thick, Andrex puppies on a roll , cardboard centre twice as big, Tissue Twice as thin. sort it
