Pays out for very little
Pays out for very little. My elderly cat has had 2 dental operations over the last few years. Both cost £1000 each and nothing from my insurance to help with this. Only paid a quarter of my last vet bill to have bloods done. Have decided it is more sensible to cancel the insurance and save the money in an account as that way i can guarantee financial assistance. Renewal quote was extortionate for something that never pays out.

To confirm, all claims are assessed based on the Terms and Conditions of your chosen policy.
Details of what we do and do not provide cover for, can be found within your policy documents which are sent at point of purchase and at every renewal after.
To confirm, dental is something that we can look to provide cover for depending on your chosen policy. Please note, for new business policies and existing policies, dental is not covered on the following; Accident Only, Basic Plus, Max Value, Super and Lifetime £1,000.
We do have capped fees on certain claimable items. These can be found on the “Important Information on Vet Fee Claims Limits” document sent to you at point of purchase and each year after at renewal.
Our Underwriters take a number of factors into consideration when annually reviewing our premiums, which include, but are not limited to: a pet’s age and breed, any health conditions associated with the breed, where the pet is living and vet fees in that area, as well as any claims history.
If you would like to discuss your premium with our team, they are available on 0344 557 0300 between 09:00-17:00, Monday-Friday.

It came as a great shock when my little dog was diagnosed with diabetes an pancreatitis and would be on insulin injection for the rest of his life. Animal Friends were excellent in processing my insurance claim very quickly and efficiently considering I only took out the policy less than 12 months. Would definitely recommend this Company.

Making the claim for willow was easy and straight forward the vets used the portal to make the claim and once the claim was accepted the payment made directly to the vets which made a worrying and stressful time easier.

I have had to claim 3 times for various…
I have had to claim 3 times for various pets over the years, each time thwyve reacted quickly, informed me as soon as vets had submitted the claim and paid all reasonable amounts. They do list some clear exceptions (ie consultant fees are capped at 265) but these are upfront in policy for you to check before arranging.
