The tech support is great.
They followed up, even when I didn't. They gave me the right answers. I remember at one point (before this latest situation) I allowed them to remote in, something I very rarely do as I'm an IT guy. They were respectful of my privacy and fixed the issue. So yes, I recommend them.

I ordered a replacement Recorder for my security system and I managed to pick the wrong one that did not work with my cameras.
I contacted customer support who advised me which unit would work with my installed cameras, so I purchased that one and it is working fine now.
Even though it was my error, ANNKE then refunded me the cost of the original order.
My whole experience with ANNKE customer support and their technical department was excellent as they helped me every step of the way.
They obviously read my emails and responded to each problem I had.
Other companies I've dealt with just give standard replies which have no bearing on the problem in hand.
It is so refreshing to get proper support that addresses the actual problem, and this makes me feel like I am a valued customer.

Worst customer service ever!
If I was Annke I would get rid of the absolute useless excuse for customer services!
No answer from all contact, live chat no answer, telephone no answer, email no answer.
After waiting three days for a response, I've cancelled my order because of your lack of any kind of customer service!!
All the fake reviews on here gushing about amazing customer services are lies!!!!

I have never used ANNKE kit before so this was a bit of a risk, but I have no regrets.
My NVR search was narrowed down to Reolink and ANNKE and it was decided on image quality. ANNKE cameras are excellent. They were very easy to set-up with the 8 channel NVR and I have also been very impressed with the responsiveness of their technical support. All my queries were answered, each reply would take few hours due to time difference, but they would always reply.
I would not hesitate to recommend their kit to anyone.
The only disappointment was a lack of native HTML5 streaming option from a remote web browser.
It is still necessary to install a browser plugin with unsigned .exe file to be able to stream the NVR or camera image.
Hikvision has already adopted HTML5 so I hope that ANNKE will soon update their firmware to include it as well.
For now, I have been able to work around it by creating a custom application using go2rtc to display multiple streams on one webpage.

Having accidentally disposed of my security camera DVR,I purchased a new ANNKE one as advised by ANNKE tech. After installation, I couldn't see images through any of the originally installed cameras. An email to ANNKE resulted in a extremely helpful fault finding list that had me up and running in no time. The service was outstanding irrespective that I didn't purchase through ANNKE direct. Great customer focus.
