Being able to study on my own time and at my own pace made it possible for me to complete the course, which has now allowed me to progress further into the ambulance service in my state. My goal is to become a paramedic, and I feel this course provided me with a chance to get a foot in the door.
The trainers were readily available, and I was typically offered assistance or advice within a few business hours.
The best part of the course was the Workshops.
I had Betina and Soph at the Sydney workshops in 2023 and 2024. These workshops were a great confidence boost and learning curve - shout out to Betina and Soph for their patience and support. (If you meet Betina ask her who has "The Stick").
Thank you APC!

I just finished up Workshop 1 in NSW and I cannot fault the staff with APC. Obviously there was some nerves from myself and everyone in the room, and the thought of role playing and talking to manikins just made me feel so stressed. I can assure you by the time my scenario assessment cane around, all of those feelings had gone away. My trainers Betina and Sophie were so welcoming, supportive and helpful. Answered any questions without judgment. Had a great experience and can’t wait for Workshop 2!

Just finished workshop 1. It's very intense
hands on and information overload. But it sets us up to be successful in our placements and hopefully secure a job. My trainers Chris and Rashel are great. They were very patient, extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, funny and gave tough love when needed. My advice coming into the workshop is to be prepared, take it seriously but have fun. Don't worry we all had that pit in our stomach throughout the 5 days. It feels so great when you nail it. Good luck!
Also special thanks to Kym and Jackie for being patient with me throughout my course.

I have enjoyed my experience with APC and I've just passed my clinical workshop recently, which in my opinion is the most intense, scary, awesome but most important part of this course as it puts everything into practice and gets you ready for the real world and what you can expect when working in the field. I can definately say I've learnt way more doing the practical stuff and feel a lot more ready to do the placement aspect of the course now.
I would highly recommend this college to anyone that is thinking about changing careers but aren't sure if they're ready or able. My suggestion is JUST DO IT, you will feel a sense of accomplishment for going for it and entering into a career path that will lead to a job that you can feel.good about everyday. I'm excited to see where this course takes me!

The APC team were helpful, friendly, motivating and were 100% geniunely there to ensure students were set up for success. Highly recommend APC if you are looking to start a career in the patient transport or pre-hospital medical fields.

I just completed my workshop 2 at their new space in nsw with Sophie and Betina, not only were they amazing teachers but they made the whole experience so fun and exciting, they were so helpful and allowed us to learn so much in such little time. I’ve had such a great experience with this company so far all the trainers are amazing and always there to help you, and their student success team is always there to answer any questions or help with any issues. Overall my time with APC is almooost over but am so grateful the entire experience.

What made my experience great was the workshops, learning new life skills, meeting new people and learning new ways of doing thing, putting all the theory work into practice. Both my workshops with my trainers was amazing they were full of knowledge happy to help in any way and went above and beyond to help us when we needed. Yes they were stressful and full on, however I will never forget the life skills I have learnt from them. I would highly recommend APC to anyone who wants to train.

I am forever grateful that I chose APC to do my course. The course was really great, from the course materials to the help from the trainers and assessors, and support from the office staff. I am grateful that I was granted not one but two extensions to be able to finish my course. I whole heartedly recommend anyone thinking of studying cert III on non-emergency patient transport or cert IV in Emergency Medicine to consider APC as they are great and will support your learning all along. Thanks APC I had a great learning and personal experience at APC. Shout out to Jens, Stephanie and Gary in QLD for being awesome during the workshop. Regards and best wishes for the future. Osvaldo

Jo and Amy from the Australian Paramedical College have been absolutely phenomenal trainers. Their deep knowledge and real-life experience shine through in every session, making even the most complex topics clear and approachable. They are incredibly informative and always open to questions, creating a supportive environment where learning thrives. Their helpfulness and enthusiasm, combined with their ability to relate lessons to practical, real-world scenarios, made each class not only educational but also a pleasure to attend. I have studied at many institutions and over the last 10 years preferred the flexibility of online training. I looked around for how I could upgrade my first aid skills and after settling on the Diploma of Emergency Health Care, went looking for a provider that met my needs rather than forced me into what worked for them (the institution). While only 10 weeks into the course, I am looking forward to both the face-to-face training and the work placement to round off the qualification. A good choice in APC.

What a great experience studying at APC. The content and workshops have given me the knowledge and skills to smash my transition from manufacturing and into the Emergency Healthcare world. All of the team and trainers provide amazing support, positivity and are so easy to approach for any queries I had. I have enjoyed the last 12 months and have already decided to pursue my Bachelors in Paramedicine. Just wish I could keep studying with APC. Thanks so much APC team. You are all legends!!!

I recently attended workshop in NSW with trainers Sophie & Bettina. I can't express how great this experience was to get hands on & practice the skills I have been learning. I started off a little nervous, but with the extensive training & knowledge passed on by the trainers I am very confident & can't wait to commence my placement very shortly. Thank you APC for supporting my transition into a new industry for me, and getting closer to my dream job in healthcare!

As a mature student, I wanted to achieve a goal in emergency health care, and I did with time to spare - some challenges along the way but I faced them and worked through them - Thank you for the amazing, enlightening opportunity to be a better clinician in this field.

Overall I had a great experience with APC. The staff are amazing!!
I was skeptical at first with the amount of support I’d receive from my experience with other online courses, and was blown away with how much I received from APC.
I found the course structure to be a good challenge, as while they provided more than enough information, it’s also set up for you to use your own head, which I suppose they’ve done on purpose to make sure you’re actually learning. This includes finding your own placement, which will also expose you to possible job opportunities in your area 😜 but they will help you if you struggle to find anything, as they provide a placement providers list.
The workshops are the best part! They’re so much fun, a really good way to put all your existing skills to use and learn more valuable skillsets.
Most of the trainers are EMTs/Paramedics so they’re full of knowledge and don’t mind you asking a million questions. I highly recommend APC. I’d honestly do it all over again if I had too, but I’m finished now and working as an EMT and on the path to Uni and I have APC to thank for that!🥰
