i have never had more displeasure dealing with a company in my life. they NEVER answer their phone, our exchange date is in 3 days and we haven’t heard a single thing from them. tried ringing them several times and no one picks up. i left a voice mail and no one ever got back to me. AVOIDDDDD

Edit: There is no need to contact me APL. I have now finally managed to get the information after multiple requests. I have had to leave this review because someone at APL had my original review removed due to containing personal info. I feel really disappointed that I only get any attention after posting on a third party site, that should not be how customer service is done.

I don't tend to like to write negative reviews, but feel this needs to be shared. I have been with APL for over a year. the initial experience was frustrating to be honest. Emails unanswered and unacknowledged over a week, phone calls unanswered. I've sent messages to numerous team emails and no one responds. Thankfully we managed to escalate and close the purchase. Now I'm post completion, i need some extra details such as the SDLT unique transaction reference number. I noted that the email of my conveyancer first name begins with S and surname A had changed to something else, thinking this might actually provide a better experience...I was wrong. I am still yet to receive any acknowledgement of my contact

Nothing but good things to say about APL lawyers and especially our conveyancing solicitor Emma Dibdin.

We went from offer accepted to completion in little over 6 weeks, which is an achievement that will eventually be viewed by society in the same light as a sub 2 hour marathon, or Michael Phelps winning 8 gold medals in an Olympic games. The timeline was achieved in spite of challenges from the sellers side, a complicated source of funds set up, and a tricky probate situation that meant not all information was immediately forthcoming.

Emma's diligence, hard work, and friendliness, along with the easy-to-use eWay system, meant that we didn't feel the stress of house buying really at all. It's no understatement to say that she made it easy, put our minds at rest when things went sideways, and did everything she could to keep things on track right up to the minute we completed.
