The original conveyancer handling our case left the organisation. Despite this change, Mohammed picked up our case fairly seamlessly through to completion. He was able to answer all our questions and advise accordingly. A pleasure to deal with.

A house for many and for me definitely is the biggest asset that I will ever own so making sure that all the legal ownership is done properly and correctly is very important. This is the first time that I have ever purchased the house honestly speaking I did not realised how complicated and how much legal work and checks need to be completed. Eras Talat was assigned our case around a month before completion after I raised a complaint with the complaints department in regards to a different solicitor.
Eras has been absolutely phenomenal and has helped us remain calm and secure in the knowledge that everything was in hand.
She responded within a timely manner and pushed for exchange at short notice. We are so grateful to Eras Talat.
However, due to experiencing a wide range of issues with a different solicitor within this firm, we unfortunately would not choose APL again (unless we knew for certain we would be assigned Eras as our conveyancer).
5 stars (and more!) for Eras and her team but unfortunately can’t say the same for the firm as a whole.

Eleanor Bateman I can honestly say is the best Solicitor I’ve ever had the pleasure to experience.
I’ve have moved 13 times in my life and I have never come across anyone so helpful , polite and dare I say it human! Nothing was ever too much trouble. She kept me informed every step of the way. We loved the portal - very informative, clear and easy to use. Their costs were reasonable and the estimate was pretty accurate. Staff are also friendly and explanatory.

The conveyancer was great until she left the company and no-one was re-assigned to our case.
Despite there being a team to back up our conveyancer, email and phone call responses had to be chased, especially when we had a buyer and then again when the buyers were ready to exchange. The only way we were able to get any action was by calling on the new business line.

Regardless of these issues, which I hope they will take on board and improve, I would still recommend them.

My conveyancer Eleanor Bateman provided ultra competent conveyancing, alongside human and friendly communications. Always replied to emails in a timeframe I would expect and always provided clear and easy to understand explanations.
