I ordered a part on the phone on a Friday, I was told by representative it would ship on Monday, I called them back 10 minutes after I ordered to cancel and representative told it had already shipped and if I wanted to cancel I had to pay for return shipment. What kind of company is this and why are they allowed to conduct business like this.

Do not buy from this company. They do not give you quick delivery. Use Amazon for quicker delivery. . Parts are extremely expensive. Terrible company.

UPDATE (7/28/2026): I received a call out of the blue from a supervisor, Walt, who said he read the notes in my file. He apologized for the confusion and issued me a refund for the incorrect part. He did not mention this review or ask me to change anything. I am therefore updating my review from one to four stars and will give Appliance Parts Pros another chance next time I need parts.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: After entering my model number, I found the heating element I needed for my dryer in the listed parts. Upon selecting it, the page displayed a box that said, “Frequently Bought Together” and listed two other items with the heating element. Since I had the dryer apart and it is around 18 years old, I clicked the “Add to Cart” button to purchase the additional two parts. After putting one screw through the bracket on one of the frequently bought together parts, I noticed it was slightly different than the one in my dryer, so I looked up the part number and realized it wasn’t for my dryer. I called customer service and spoke with Samantha who confirmed the part indeed was not for my model and that since I had “installed” it, it couldn’t be returned. I didn’t understand why after entering my model number, their website displayed parts that were for a different model without any indication that I needed to confirm the parts matched my model. She informed me that they were in a box labeled frequently bought together and nothing in the box indicated whether or not they fit my particular model. This is deceptive in my opinion and I will no longer be purchasing parts from Appliance Parts Pros.

Appliance Parts Pros is doing pretty much everything well. The part selection process from search to payment is trouble free. I had to return a part ordered in error and that process was equally as simple. Great job, APP!

The website, and the parts selection is superb. So why the 3 star? Shipping ! If I am purchasing "spare" parts, why should my only shipping option out here in Hawaii be FEDEX?

My spare parts cost $29, but the shipping costs $34. This is terrible. There is no reason to limit shipping to FEDEX, the cost is crazy, as the parts are very lightweight and easily ship in a USPS Priority Mail, for $12.

Appliance Parts Pros needs to fix this, as I have been a good customer for many years, and I have made this suggestion to them during various phone calls, but still, no action is taken to improve the customer experience.

I got through to the AI which sent me to a real human who was efficient and got me the part within about 2 min research. The diagram I had didn't have the #4 part in the list of avail. parts, but SHE got it right out. I am thrilled as I have researched companies, including the manuf. website with promises of calls back, etc. and NO LUCK, ALSO this is $50 less than any I could find and that was a LOT of work researching.

Never been disappointed. Found parts no other business has. Video tutorials are straight forward. Maintained LG Fridge, rebuilt LG dryer when bearings failed and repaired water inlets on LG washer.

I ordered a part for my kegerator and it arrived quickly and the price was fair. The problem happened when I tried to return the part. The part was not the issue with my kegerator and I began the return process. That's when I read their return policy. It states that the part is inspected upon return. If the part is used, hooked up, or even tested in any way, the part is disposed of and no refund is issued. This is entirely unacceptable and a waste. I explained this to the return chat agent, but the agent did not care. I explained that in their logo it states that they are "Helping do it yourself," and the website states "365 days for hassle free returns." The part is perfectly good, but just has scuff marks on the terminals. I will be keeping the part so it's not like I simply burned 200 dollars in my backyard.
Two stars because the deliver was quick and the right part, just not needed after all.

Horrible customer service. Received a defective part which was visible to the naked eye (obviously bent prong). tested on multimeter - no connection found. Called customer service and waited 35 mins for no one to answer (2-3pm on a wednesday). First customer service agent I spoke to was very nice and professional (after the long wait I finally opted for a call back). The second agent was ridiculous. He requested a large amount of personal data. Someone could potentially be pretending to be me that they received the defective part...? This was the 4th phone call, and I sent 2 emails.

Dealing with this issue took up hours of my day. In addition, my dryer is still broken - laundry room in disarray. I was able to order a genuine new part and a backup generic part for cheaper than the one part at Appliance Parts Pro. Both should arrive before Appliance Parts second order was expected to.

I am a female with a very female name - it's hard not to wonder if they intentionally sent a defective part hoping I wouldn't notice. Once you install the part, you can no longer return it. From their website:

"What can I return?
We will gladly offer a full refund minus shipping costs on products that are new and have not been installed or show signs of installation. Yes, even electrical parts that have not been installed or showing signs of installation. All items must be returned in original packaging. This includes retail boxes, packaging and all accessories originally included with the shipment."

They didn't seem to care about the inconvenience they caused me based on their actions. I quick look at the item and you could see the bent prong. I was told I would receive an email confirmation and a full refund (no email as of yet about 40 mins since) and way too early to tell if they will send the refund. The second customer service agent, Bryan, hung up the phone on me... I will not be a customer in the future. Plenty of other options.

I have ordered many different parts for different appliances. Always fast shipping, reasonable prices, great troubleshooting and informative videos! I highly recommend this company!!!!

Ordered a new touch pad for my Samsung range. Ordered it on May 13th. When I ordered it they said it would take 4 to 5 days for the part to be delivered.
I never received the item, the FedEx tracking stalled out on June 5th.
Inquired with customer service about the location and delivery time for the part. Customer service could only say that I need to wait up to eight weeks for the FedEx delivery. As of June 29 the the item still has not been delivered and they refuse to provide a refund.
Stay away from this company as they do not deliver the products ordered and refuse to refund the purchase price.

This was a quick and easy way to find my part for my dryer- I'm old and semi web savy- I did pretty good! Thanks!!

complete parts listed for my dishwasher, easy to review pictures of parts. website was super easy, had to redo my password that was fast and easy as well. I have used them before and been quite pleased

Exact order item found with model number quick processing and payment.

After dealing with Selectparts.com's check out telling me my zip code doesn't work, and only after 20 mins of trying new cards and yelling at my computer because it doesn't tell you what the problem is. I'm happy to spend the extra $10 for the same part with you.

Very helpful site. Some conflicting info in description of dryer latch kit. Said it for a washer when it clearly is for a dryer. Liked the model number reference feature.
