Overcrowded, noisy and not at all relaxing
We paid £109 each for a relaxing spa afternoon but it was too crowded and too noisy. There is no signage to remind/ask people to talk quietly in the spa rooms; every spa room and area was full of people talking and laughing loudly it was not at all relaxing! We were so disappointed and will not be returning.
Overcrowded and not relaxing at all
About 3x too many people in there, squashed in like sardines in all rooms and good luck trying to get in the two tiny hot tubs outside. The pool was very cold, as were all the relaxation rooms. It’s a lovely place but badly managed and not at all value for money. The least relaxing relaxation experience, I came out more stressed than I went in!
Crowded and not luxurious
Nice decor and aesthetic, could be a soothing relaxing spa, but it’s just too BUSY. They allow too many bookings at once and everyone suffers. Queuing in a wet swimsuit for a spot in one of two small hot tubs is not what a £90+ spa afternoon should be about. Very disappointing. Rubbish hairdryers too - and the changing rooms were equally overcrowded.
Completely impossible to contact
Completely impossible to contact. They have no complaints process. No idea how they can exist
Yuliia was absolutely fantastic
Yuliia was absolutely fantastic! My first ever massage as a present from my girlfriend and will definitely be coming back. Got the deep tissue massage and had some lovely conversations :). Had a spa evening the day before and loved the layout and the guided sleep thing. Yuliia was so lovely and managed to really ease some serious back pain I've been having and also instructed me on how to keep my muscles relaxed in the future.
Bad food and broken spa
Terrible day at the spa with my partner. We spent over £400 on a full day with dinner and a treatment and it was awful.
First off: The saunas were barely hot.
Secondly: The food was terrible (ready meals served in plastic containers on a plate)
Lastly: When complaining the customer service team take a month per email to reply to you, and then tell you there were no issues with the operations on the day.
I’ve now not had a reponse from the team regarding my ongoing complaint and will be taking the matter further.
SPA is OK but dinner is insanely awful!
I recently booked a recharging spa day at Aqua Sana in Woburn Forest. The spa treatments were okay, but the dinner was a complete scam. It wasn’t even a proper dinner, just a small snack. Please do not call it dinner!!!

I recently visited Aqua Sana in Thetford Forest and was disappointed to see one steam room was out of action and one hot tub was also not working having to wait almost all day for a "slot".
Changing room can get very crowded and couldn't get to my locker for ages. Another issue was to find the toilet facility in the main spa area is for both male and female... I thought the Law specified there should be separate toilets for each sex. I just felt uncomfortable going to the toilet and finding a man there!
Lack of information
Won't do back massage on pregnant people and that information is nowhere to be found on the treatment page on the website. Got a refund at least.
Apalling Customer Service
I can not believe how long it takes for customer service to answer the phone. Incredibly frustrating - when will you learn that there are huge numbers of people who do not want to talk via a bot, crappy generic chat - Grrrrrrr never using this place ever again
Nice place
Had a really nice time today at aqua Sana Sherwood Forest very clean not too busy like some places, we also had food in the vitale cafe the food was excellent and very good portions we were served by a young lady called Hannah she was amazing very helpful and polite a credit to the company.
Worst Afternoon Tea Spa Experience
Trip to Aqua Sana, Centre Parcs Woburn was booked as Afternoon Tea package for my friends 60th treat. Dietary requirements were given months in advance but not adhered to plus staff had offered to decorate table which didn't materialize . Upon arrival Spa receptionist confirmed dietary requirements, however entering Vitale cafe we were told request not communicated, and couldn't meet our needs, no alternative offered. Spent considerable length of time trying to resolve. Eventually I had afternoon tea, which was below standard and very poor value for money, the 2 sandwiches were 4cm squared with barely any filling, I also asked 3 times for the tea, friend had pasta!! No tea top up offered, staff stood around chatting instead of being attentive to the guests and no apology for their failed internal communication. I will be putting in a complaint for a full refund, absolutely disgraceful service or should I say lack of.
Rude staff
Rude staff. “Lunch” was awful, basically salad only as ran out of 2 the mains.
1 nice lady said I could have a dessert on the house as my birthday, ordered it and the main manager said absolutely not, just the cake. If you want a nice spa go to y spa at Wyboston. You get a 3 course meal and can actually lounge outside around their outdoor pool. Much better value for money. Has less steam rooms but once you’ve been in 2 that’s enough.
Today’s my 40th and that jobs worth has ruined my day. Not the fact I didn’t get the dessert , just the rudeness of the staff working in their cafe.
Other than the lovely girl who offered me a complimentary dessert, clearly stating I could chose any other than 1 that was out of the stock, the rest of the staff should get a new job. They were all miserable as sin , stood around chatting and the main manager in there has zero customer service skills. Definitely not returning here. Not worth the extortionate price.
Mobile phones should stay in lockers !
This trip to centre parks Woburn was a duel 60th treat, been to this one twice before staying in the suites lavender ect.. had issues booking in as no one at the check in desk has to call number on sign only to be-told we were in a lodge ? No apologies from the lady on phone as she made mistake. We were then greeted by lovely lady from spa who then calmed us down, and we could hopefully relax, we both had treatments booked as I never relax as I am what is termed as neurodivergent, nose light smells and lots of people I get overwhelmed, the spa rooms were not all working correctly, was looking forward to the ice room, not not working, the quiet rooms were A joke young women taking mobile phones in and talking loudly, I had a meltdown on one room as was just standing to relax when two young women came in with phone laughing and joking. On top of all this on way home ended up with food poisoning or something possibly the water with lemon in but really bad. So spoilt the trip.
Do not buy a gift voucher
I was given a gift voucher 7 months ago, and I have been unable to book it because no one answers the phone. On email, the response is a generic 'call the number'. On socials (Instagram) the response is 'call the number'. I have messaged an employee on LinkedIn to see if they will bother to help. If you are considering buying an Aqua Sana experience as a gift voucher for someone, I would advise against it, unless you hate them.
Check the pool is open
So disappointed. I drove over an hour to meet my friend for the twilight package. Upon arrival reception said the middle pool is closed. Naively I thought oh well they must have another but no. A spa evening with the only pool not available!!! It was packed in the jacuzzi and there are only 2 so squashed in like sardines. Hardly relaxing and it completely ruined the evening. No prior warning of this as no email sent beforehand. Absolutely ridiculous. I wrote and complained but was basically told I was a liar as an email had been sent. The session was booked over the phone but no one mentioned the pool closure.
Far too many people crammed in, not relaxing
Far too many people, noisy and queues for every different experience room. Restaurant is packed, no tables available even when turning up at your “allotted” time, and they will not use outside tables for lunch even though no inside tables available. Then see many people being served outside for afternoon tea. Not a calm spa experience at all. And yes you can eventually cram into the two saunas and steam rooms, but good luck with the relaxation rooms!
Hot Stones Massage treat from my hubby
As a treat from my hubby I booked a Hot Stones Message and it was utterly incredible! I had the lovely Magda complete my treatment and wow she was nothing short of amazing.
It’s like she knew where I was aching and needed the most help just by using her hands. Incredible! I came out of the session with Magda feeling completely weightless and relaxed. I would say that is it the best massage 💆♀️ I have had!
I will definitely be back! Thank you Aqua Sana and a huge thanks to Magda.
Overpriced for what it is
Overpriced for what it is. All the rooms are just variations on the same thing. We weren't given any explanation of the facilities when we arrived. The pool was nice but crowded. I've been to better places for much less money. The food in the cafe was poor, they were out of some options, the staff were good though.
Longleat - Wednesday Afternoon
Visited Longleat Aqua Sana with my sister in law and niece for Afternoon Tea. We were met with a friendly face and given lots of information. The spa itself had many choices in terms of saunas, steam rooms, quiet spaces and pools. Exceptionally clean with plenty of staff available if needed. It wasnt overcrowded, in fact on a couple of occasions I was completely alone in the steam rooms and quiet spaces. Could benefit from additional hot tubs. Always full. Aside from that an absolutely fantastic relaxing experience. Would definitely recommend.
