Longleat - Wednesday Afternoon

Visited Longleat Aqua Sana with my sister in law and niece for Afternoon Tea. We were met with a friendly face and given lots of information. The spa itself had many choices in terms of saunas, steam rooms, quiet spaces and pools. Exceptionally clean with plenty of staff available if needed. It wasnt overcrowded, in fact on a couple of occasions I was completely alone in the steam rooms and quiet spaces. Could benefit from additional hot tubs. Always full. Aside from that an absolutely fantastic relaxing experience. Would definitely recommend.

Sherwood Forest.

Sherwood Forest.
This was our 4th time here and it has always been the best experience of a spa. Pleasant helpful staff.
Today we arrived and went in the spa, still pleasant lovely staff, cafe was lovely as usual. The pool was closed for 4 hours leaving us only half an hour to use it, because of this every relaxing bed was taken, and the hot tubs were overcrowded.
We complained on the way out to the manager Georgina, she was wonderful and gave us a complimentary free day with 3 hour spa to use within 12 months. I don’t know why people are complaining on here about the staff, we have always found them to be exemplary and very well mannered every time we have been here.
As for the general public, well they are the problem, no mobile phones allowed in the spa, how difficult is that to understand? Quiet areas, just be quiet! It’s supposed to be peaceful and relaxing, if you want to chat with your friends go in the cafe, go outside, or go elsewhere for your trip out!
As for the treatments, massages etc, I haven’t had any as they are overpriced in my opinion and I have a massage therapy treatment weekly at home so don’t need them here. This said my friend has had treatments and said they were excellent!
I would recommend this spa at Sherwood Forest, Center parcs to anyone, it is the best one I have been too. With the most pleasant staff who are very helpful and an amazing manager in Georgina!

Overpriced

Should be a relaxing day at the spa but not at all. Long way from Dublin, hard to find a parking spot and cold and windy weather. The heated pool and hot tubes are outside. 2 small hot tubes, smallest I ever seen and the bubbles worked only 3 minutes. No way to relax into the tubes as was cold and windy. The pool not hot enough for the weather. The only good thing was the sauna. The food was a joke, lasagna wasn't bad if you like lasagna but was only option with meat. My husband got a cezar salad, only leaves and 3 croutons, my salad was better. Anyway there is a very limited option. We spent 198 euros, we left after 3 hours and I got cystitis and my husband got cold. We are under treatment now. So, never again. We have much better options in Dublin.

Exceptionally disappointed with our…

Exceptionally disappointed with our experience here. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are far better spa experiences that actually warrant the cost.

This was a 30th birthday treat for my partner, which has left me feeling quite annoyed and frustrated, it certainly wasn't relaxing or enjoyable, we actually felt more stressed being there which was ridiculous, as it sells it's self to be luxury, relaxing, revitalising spa, it absolutely is NOT.

The place was completely over crowded, with loud obnoxious people. We spent a lot of time wandering around trying to find room in the saunas, and the hot tubs were completely full, always, the quiet areas were loud and the place was not monitored at all. Door handles were damaged, the cold room was out of order, the foot spa had two out of order, the bubble pool at the very back did not work. The restaurant was mediocre at best, with the food reflecting the same, being quite bland.

The overall experience for spending almost £300 was shocking, and we do not feel relaxed, rejuvenated or revitalised but the complete opposite. We will not be returning here ever again. From previous reviews it certainly reflects the degraded experienced with a lot of similar reviews saying the same, which appears to have fallen on deaf ears with no real change in view.

Went to the Aqua Sauna

Went to the Aqua Sauna for afternoon tea and a treatment. The treatment was really nice and the rooms were really good/unique.

My issue is it was so busy, everyone chatting in quiet rooms and we didn't manage to do everything because it was so busy!

We had horrible service for the afternoon tea. It took 30 minutes to be offered a drink (only when we went and asked), a further 15 minutes to get the drink. Plus the waiter practically slammed the drinks on the table not saying a word. Disgusting behavior.

The sauna is nice but don't bother with the cafe.

Disappointing Birthday Treat – Overcrowded and Poor Service

I visited Aqua Sana on 25th January for a birthday treat, but sadly, it was a huge disappointment. The spa was overcrowded, making it impossible to enjoy the facilities—hot tubs were always full, and it took 30 minutes just to get into the sauna. There weren’t enough robe pegs, so we had to leave our belongings on a plant pot, and the showers lacked proper privacy. Service was slow too—our welcome drinks took 20 minutes, and after the pool was shut due to a “water balancing issue,” we waited another 20 minutes at the bar without being served.

We left after just 90 minutes of a 4-hour session, feeling frustrated and let down. This was supposed to be a relaxing, special occasion, but it was anything but. I wouldn’t recommend Aqua Sana based on this experience.

Had a day pass at £300 for myself my husband and my son. Not worth it. Got there got a bed went for a five minute swim. Three oversized women had taken our bed told us we couldn't reserve a bed. Agreed with that but they had sat on my bag with mobile phone etc in it. When I asked the oversized large women to get off my towels they refused. I had to drag my swim bag and now wet towels from under them. We then went to the restaurant where we were supposed to have have an evening meal included in the package. Turned out it was pannis and that was it. To be fair to the manager she gave us an alternative option which was amazing and drinks. So thanks to that lady. I'm not sure they can stop other clients being a bit stupid. Thanks for the wine it eliminated the other issues xx

I wanted to make changes to the booking or cancel the order, there is simply no option. No one answers the phone, it is just an accessory for them. This complex looks beautiful .rich and a wonderful deception of visitors. A waste of money and nerves. 1 star is too much.

Awful experience at Aqua Sana Sherwood…

Awful experience at Aqua Sana Sherwood Forest today. I went with a friend for our annual New Year’s Day spa treat, and wish we hadn’t bothered!! We usual go to Eden Hall which we love, (which incidentally was only £30 more than what we paid for our spa day today), but we decided to try Aquasana for a change. We were gutted.

The facilities were ok, too many sleep/relaxation areas tho and we couldn’t get in the pool as was constantly too busy.

We had a hot stone body massage treatment each as part of our day spa package, which my friend really enjoyed. My massage was not so great.
The therapist didn’t speak to me at all, with little or no interest in enquiring if I had any specific troublesome ares I needed working on. Was a very weird massage technique, with a lot of pulling of limbs and fast massage strokes. Not at all relaxing or enjoyable. I did not receive any product recommendations or advice after the massage which I would expect as a bare minimum. I complained to the senior therapist at reception who had to keep going to speak to the spa manager who at no point came out to speak with me in person, very poor customer care on there part. They did offer me a 50% refund on the price of my treatment.

We had to also complain about the food as we were waiting for so long to be served (40mins) before we received anything. Both tables either side of us complained also but about other things. When the food did eventually turn up it was not as described. We ended up all laughing about it by the end of the meal as it was just such a joke. The waitress apologised and was very helpful tho.

All in all I would not recommend this spa as when compared to other spas in the area this falls short on every level and is not value for money.

After 26 years it’s become more like a social club than a spa relaxation experience!

I hate giving a 1 star review after 26 years of using this facility multiple times a year with various friends and family. The last few months it has been a disaster. It used to be a beautiful place to relax (as they still advertise it to be) the dynamics have changed drastically it’s like a community centre not a spa. My October and November trips weren’t great but I thought it was a blip. The December trip was horrendous,we left more stressed than when we arrived. They’ve changed the booking system, it was overpopulated, packed in like sardines. If we managed to get in a room we’d be joined within minutes with people squeezing in and having others flesh on yours when they squeeze in to sit down is unpleasant.Forget about laying down in the saunas which they advertise etc! People were doing handstands in the overcrowded pool and having underwater swimming competitions! Overcrowded to the extent of having no free pegs to hang your dressing gowns on! No relaxation at all. Everyone had given up the basic concept of a spa relaxation retreat so it was loud, noisy conversation everywhere including the supposed relaxation rooms. It’s like a community centre now…not a spa! Incredibly upset because it’s been my favourite for years. The staff though were all lovely as usual.
They do need to have signs on the actual doors of the rooms telling people to be quiet and respect people that actually pay for a relaxation day!
We found a space in the meditation room but the ceiling sky lights are still not working, the ice room was broken, the green humidity room was out of action the last 2 times I’ve been too.

The following three occasions that I have visited the Sherwood Forest Aqua Sana I had been very unwell with head colds and significant chest infections each time lasting a week or more with days spent literally not being able to get out of bed. I am a fit and well person with no long term conditions. It has happened the past three times and that cannot be a coincidence. It’s a lovely place but makes sense when you think about it. Sitting in a steamy room breathing in other people’s germs etc. something to consider especially for people who may be immunocompromised.

Waste of £298 for a 'Relaxing' day for two.

If you want to sit in a room with people talking loudly with no consideration or etiquette, then this is the place for you.

We have been visiting this spa for the past 10 years, and it has just gone downhill. When you checked in, they used to tell you to talk quality and be courteous of others, but that has stopped now. The staff in the spa area just don't care and do nothing. We spoke to the manager, who appears to hear this a lot, but that didn't help, and the day was already ruined.

We left this afternoon feeling unrelaxed, angry and having wasted £300.

If you want to relax, and chill, don't bother going here.

If you want to have a loud chat with the girls then crack on.

Disappointing !!!

Been several times, but steam and sauna rooms were only just luke warm last time we went. Seems like they are trying to save money by not making them hot, as they ought to be. Pathetic, considering the cost of a day here.

No facilities for disabled customers

Visited Woburn Aqua Sana for a birthday treat for my daughter. On arrival we were told the car park for the spa was closed for maintenance work, as I am disabled, I informed them I need to park very close, the security guards on the gate, where very unhelpful and rude! And basically said " you'll have to park and walk for 20 minutes to reach spa!" I told them this is not possible and their reply was... " well that's it and shrugged his shoulders!" I was not informed by the spa, when booked a week earlier, that the car park will be closed, also their website has no mention about car park being closed!.
I feel like they just take your money and if your disabled, well that's tough 😡

Very disappointed that my booking couldn't be changed due to a family emergency. Customer service staff were uninterested and not helpful. Couldn't even change my booking from afternoon to a morning despite having availability. Was immediately dismissed by the terms. Aqausana needs to understand that unforseen circumstances do happen!

Dissapointing and Greedy move by Aqua Sana

I have previously bee a lover and advocate of Aqua Sana Spa at Elveden Center Parcs...BUT am afraid I currently feel very negative....They have without making any announcement or reduction in price slyly removed the welcome refreshments from their day spa packages which cost upwards of 129 per person, you get a lunch included but previously always a welcome refreshment of croissant savory/sweet and a drink, this made you feel welcome and special ad after a long journey added to your day...to remove it whilst keeping price same and gradually increasing from a already dear spa is just money grabbing greed..I can but these items for pence from Lidl!!!!!!

Very expensive

Very expensive, good selection of things to try, I found the staff unfriendly, food was very limited, drinks limited, the Elemis demo was very rushed and not very informative, £149 is a lot of money with no treatments included. I have been to much better places.

Just arrived back from the most…

Just arrived back from the most relaxing spa experience at the aqua sauna spa located at center parks Nottingham. Would like to mention Rachel, sienna and Julie Jessop for offering their expertise and knowledge following the most amazing treatment on offer. We will most definitely return as this was an experience not to be missed at an affordable price. I would personally like to add that the treatment on offer was by far the most relaxing and enjoyable experience I have ever encountered given the previous spa treatments I have received at other locations. We salute you!!! I would also like to add that this experience has left me with no other choice but to rebook. Absolutely amazing!!!! 👌one other thing to add to this review, I have to mention Kane he was the one who originally sold myself and mirella to book the experience we are thrilled and truly grateful for his recommendation if it wasn't for him we would have not had the pleasure to participate and undergo this beautiful encounter.
