Won't do back massage on pregnant people and that information is nowhere to be found on the treatment page on the website. Got a refund at least.

Let down
Used to provide slippers no longer do, So many guests complaining about this as all clealry expect footwear from previous visits. Never told prior to arrival ice room was in maintenance this was a huge let down as it was my husbands first visit.
Emailed to make a complaint and all they did was reply with copy and pasted information from their terms?! They don't care for their customers. Absolutely shocking
Staff lies to their customers
Absolutely terrible and misleading information from the customer service. I booked the entire afternoon spa session while logged in the customer account only to get an email confirming an hour treatment. I wanted to double check this information so contacted the online centre parcs helpline on 7th April. Kissan confirmed that I had access to the spa the entire afternoon for the same price. On the day of my session in Woburn I was told it was only an hour massage but no access to the spa. I was asked to pay extra £65 on top of £99 already paid. No complimentary access offered as a way to say 'sorry we messed up and ruined your day'.
Noisy spa session, wear ear plugs!
Had a spa day at the Whinfell Forest Center Parcs. The booking was made via the Center Parcs page when booking our apartment. The total cost for the spa session was £236. We were hoping for a nice, relaxing afternoon with treatments booked as a bonus. On arrival we were greeted and shown where to go. When we got into the spa, we soon found groups of ladies, who weren't really interested in adhering to the rules of a spa, and didn't respect others who did. Loud chat, and mobile phone use was the order of the afternoon. We made our feelings known to the 'manager' who was in agreement with our complaint. We returned to the spa area but with staff making checks, nothing changed. We spoke to the 'manager' again, who spoke of making a refund for the session. Our treatments were soon and we went for them. Mine was a Swedish massage, and my wife had an OPI GelColour for Hands. Even though the massage was OK, it wasn't a Swedish massage, and lasted for 44 minutes, not the 55 as stated. My wife's treatment was good. We spoke to the 'manager' after our treatments, and she told us that because we had re-entered the spa, she could not refund us. This was not the case.
The main point is:
For the price, this was not a nice, quiet, relaxing afternoon as advertised.
Woburn Aqua Sana ...Great Mind, Body and Sole massage
Visited at 11am today, Woburn Aqua Sana for a Mind, Body and Sole massage.
Thank you to Chloe D for the best massage ever.
Feel absolutely amazing.

Visited Aqua Spa today
Visited Aqua Spa today. We arrived at 10am and the car park was absolutely rammed! The staff were really friendly and helpful. The spa was so busy that we didn't get to use all the facilities on offer. We had to try on 4 separate occasions to see if the 2 hot tubs had space for the 2 of us. We eventually got to use them at 4pm. We booked the Voya package. My therapist Mel was absolutely fantastic! The food in the restaurant was also good but quite pricey for what you get, if not included in your package. There are plenty of lockers in the changing rooms but very limited space to actually get changed. There are 2 benches that were quickly taken and we had to find some dry floor space to use. There are also only about 8 showers that were also very busy. I was very disappointed for what we paid not to be able to try everything but I'm sure on a less busy day it would be lovely. Personally I think this spa is only focused on making as much money as it can and not particularly worried on if the customer has a calm and relaxing day.
Visited the spa on 21/01/22
Visited the spa on 21/01/23. I have been to Aqua Sana in Longleat several times before and always enjoyed the experience.
£158 for the Day Experience not including any treatments. I cannot fault the staff and the facilities are new and interesting. I was group of 3.
However, it was so busy it completely spoilt the day and I came away more stressed then I arrived. We had to queue to use the hot tubs, there was no space in the sauna's, or relaxation rooms, when we did get in the volume of noise was horrendous. There were bags and towels everywhere. I even had to queue to use the showers in the changing room.
The lunch, included was average but the staff were attentive and you could see they were flat out.
I have another booking for 2 weeks time, with different friends ( I live not far away), but will be having second thoughts about future bookings.
Really nice spa and plenty of options
Really nice spa and plenty of options, 1 day spa package without treatment is over £300 so a bit expensive. Steam and sauna’s are very nice, the resting area’s are great and comfortable just a shame the staff decide to stand outside this area and constantly have full on conversations at the top their voices which meant not much peace & quiet as the room is intended for. There is a lot of people using the spa also so hot tub area was always full so could not use and the resting area’s were always extremely busy, food was in the cafe was nice and staff there were great.

I visited the Longleat spa and booked a Swedish massage at £99 expecting to be able to use the spa facilities! Claire, the therapist was good and experienced. Apparently to use the spa is an additional £65! I’ve been to many hotel/spas in the UK and abroad so can compare. Whenever I have booked a treatment using the spa facilities is included.
To book the use of facilities I was told my treatment would be cut short, or I would need to wait at least 45 minutes, so they could not fit me in. I was on my own so I’m sure they could have accommodated me. The spa looked nice but unfortunately even though I spent almost £100 I did not get to experience it!
Excellent customer service
We booked the pro-glow facial day spa package for 2. On arrival at the Center Parcs security desk I realised I'd booked the wrong date in error. I was horrified but but the security guards were so sensitive and helpful. Renata at reception worked hard to fit us in and I had a great facial with Rosie. So grateful to Aqua Sana - they could easily have turned us away. Throughout the day the customer service was excellent.
Twilight Spa Experience
We visited the Aqua Sana at Longleat as part of a trip to Centre Parcs. Overall, the Twilight experience was fabulous. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and a complimentary robe / towel. Each of the experiences were unique and relaxing. Staff members were friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn’t super busy, which really added to the relaxing feel. I would give a five star rating, however, I was unable to purchase any of the amazing smells experienced in the rooms. I would love for this to become an option in the future! I was a tad disappointed I couldn’t take a bit of the spa home with me. Overall, the price was fair if not a little expensive. I would 100% recommend to couples looking for a relaxing spa experience.
Average overpriced spa
Reception staff were lovely. The spa was so busy, it was noisy and I couldn’t even get to use the pool because it was so busy.
I booked a massage and a pedicure. I thought they would be super luxurious due to the prices but they were really amateur and basic. Definitely not worth the price at all. If you can find a quiet room to enjoy then it is quite relaxing but otherwise it’s overpriced.
Not sure id return.
Awful reception staff at Sherwood.
Been going to sherwood forest day spa for years now always been delighted and felt that it was worth the money for the experience. However I recently visited for a twilight spa for 2 & I can't describe how poor the service was specifically from the front house reception upon arrival and whilst leaving. Unlike the usual warm and friendly welcome you would expect from a spa..it was the complete opposite, very cold & almost hostile! It was as if they were very
disappointed to have evening guests because they would have a evening shift ahead of them, cleaners were no better. Asking guests if they had finished with robes whilst they still had them on !!? Absolutely ridiculous. Better off at a smaller spa folks..from reading the comments there's clearly some serious staffing issues across all their spa's. Such a shame. Also seriously need to fix their queuing systems..and at least use chaperones to help navigate cars instead of blocking traffic on the main road.
Visited Aqua Sana while on a break at…
Visited Aqua Sana while on a break at sherwood forest center parcs on 4th August 2022 with my two daughters. After about 30mins, one of my daughters started to develop a migraine. Rosie found us flapping in the toilet area and whisked daughter off to a vacant treatment room where it was dark and cool. Myself and other daughter kept popping back to check on daughter during rest of visit and she was feeling better by the time our 3hr visit was over.
Rosie could not have been more helpful, offering water, juice, towels and blankets and the fact that daughter had somewhere to rest meant we could still enjoy our time in the spa.
Very impressed and delighted with daughters refund also.
Discrimination at Aquasana coupled with really poor customer service
Visited Aquasana Longleat at the beginning of June with hubby for a spa day - something we've done in the past and enjoyed. Unfortunately, on this occasion it wasn't the relaxing experience we'd hoped for. I have a couple of food allergies which previously hasn't been a problem as the Cafe Vitale staff have been able to look at the ingredients on the packaging on their food and advised accordingly.
However, as of end of May 2022 Aquasana and Centre Parcs have changed their policies and staff are no longer able to give customers ingredient information they are only able to advise on the most common allergens contained in the food, as my allergies are not in that list, I was informed they would be unable to serve me food anywhere in the park! Nowhere on their website is this information readily available. Buried in the FAQs is a very poorly worded statement about an allergen menu and if in doubt ask a staff member before ordering. There is no message that states if you are someone whose allergies are not contained in the most common category their policy is to refuse service.
At the time we originally booked our spa day it didn't tell customers to call them in advance about food allergies but the FAQ does now tell you to contact the customer service team before booking spa/holiday at Centre Parcs.
This new policy is ableism at its worst & entirely discriminatory in nature. Best practice would be to upload a menu which lists the individual ingredients for each dish served - it really isn't difficult to do & lots of restaurants do exactly this. At the very least it really does seem bonkers that a member of the catering team isn't even allowed to bring a photo of the ingredients directly off the packaging for a customer to review and make an informed decision - something I suggested.
Having paid over £260 for a spa day as a couple that should include a breakfast pastry & a lunch it just isn't good enough. In the end my husband had to leave the spa and go to the onsite supermarket & buy something for me to nibble on during the day. The spa manager did allow us to stay an extra hour for my husband's lost time, however, the stress caused really impacted our experience.
Fast forward to a couple of days ago when I wanted to book a spa day for my hubby and I to celebrate his birthday. As advised by the Longleat spa manager & the updated guidance on the buried FAQ I called the customer service number to inform them of my allergies and ask what the agreed work around should be. THEY DONT KNOW! Apparently the customer service team are seemingly unaware Cafe Vitale staff (or any other restaurant staff on Centre Parc sites) are unable to advise customer on allergies/ingredients etc. When I explained to the first Customer Service agent their own policy she exclaimed 'well that's a bit silly isn't it?' Anyway, she politely supposedly transferred me through to Aquasana to advise. I was actually transferred to oblivion! Call number two (48 mins waiting to speak to a human) again customer service agent didn't have a clue about the policy & advised me to look at the menu on the website ‘as it say's if it's gluten free or contains things like milk etc’. I explained that alas my allergies were not on the common list (not that it should matter but I'm allergic to alcohol and corn including cornflour/maizestarch which get thrown into lots of processed food as it makes food go further). Stumped she then suggested I speak directly with Aquasana and said she'd put me through. I asked if she could stay on the line as I didn't fancy being cut off again. She suggested she speak to them on my behalf and placed me on hold. Ten minutes later she returns to advise someone from Aquasana Woburn will contact me later that same day to advise me on what they can do. 24hrs later still waiting for the call from Aquasana Woburn I decide to call the customer service line again (32 mins of holding music later) yet again encounter a customer service agent who isn't aware of the policy, suggests I look at the allergen menu on the web & failing that I speak to Aquasana. I relay my experience to date and ask to speak to a manager hoping that maybe a manager might actually know their policy & be able to help. Alas no, the 'manager' also didn't know what to do to help other than suggest speaking to Aquasana direct, which reluctantly she agreed to do on my behalf, yet again I'm put on hold for another 10 mins & when she comes back to me I once more promised a call from someone at Aquasana Woburn that same day. I ahve even tried contacting Aquasana via Twitter to no avail. I'm still waiting...
Clearly customer service is not a priority for Centre Parcs or Aquasana, clearly they are also happy to be in breach of equality and discrimination laws with their current policies and approach. My advice is if you have an allergy go to another spa!
Soooooo boring and COVID unsafe….
Soooooo boring and COVID unsafe….
Presently at aquasana Woburn - basically it is a place with a variety of hot wet places you can sit - that’s it! The pool is tiny and littered with couples standing around - there are no classes except one on how to use their products and one on meditation for 7 people. It is full of couples who are obviously taking a day out to reconnect and are frantically trying to find a place they can be romantic. Unlike other places like H Cross Hall, this is not about health but about blobbing around chatting. H cross hall offers free classes all day including such things as yoga, meditation, various fitness, and pools you can swim in as well as all these facilities. Sign on arrival says don’t use spa after eating heavy meal or drinking and the day package include lunch and champagne or fizz….
Arriving and leaving is hell as you have to drive through centre parks which is long lines of cars trying to get in and out while avoiding pedestrians so if you have relaxed - good luck on maintaining that as you leave…..
But the real cracker is there are no covid precautions in the spa, all this hot wet rooms, perfect for transmission and there is no limit to the number of people that squeeze themselves into a sauna …. This is a perfect Petri dish for transmission ….
All in all go a bit further up the M1 and find a spa which actually is about health
Aqua sana will not change the date of…
Aqua sana will not change the date of my booking even though they have capacity to let more people in on the requested new date (as I was advised on the phone). They just don't have availability at the taster pack price point. I think this unfair, especially as it states in their terms and conditions that date changes can be made and I have an existing booking. It seems nothing to do with capacity and safety, more to do with making money.
Therma Bliss with Rosie H.
I had a Therma Bliss hot stone massage with Rosie H. at the Sherwood Forest Aqua Sana, and it was lovely and relaxing! My first time and will definitely go again when I have the chance.
Staying with the family at Centre Parcs…
Staying with the family at Centre Parcs Sherwood from Monday 6th June 2022 for 7 nights. Booked a massage for 4 of us and my experience with Jasmine for my back massage was amazing. Clearly a very well educated lady in this role. Thanks so much for relieving my aches! Looking forward to my next visit. Sarah
Terrible treatment Sherwood
I was booked in for a much needed deep tissue massage here this evening. I’m not one to leave reviews but feel so very let down by what was barely a stroke of a massage and the general poor level of service. I left feeling bitterly disappointed - truly the worst massage I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend not wasting money on a treatment here.
I've visited Aqua Sana afew times and…
I've visited Aqua Sana afew times and the spa experience is always amazing. Having booked a twilight spa session on the 20th of February, we were disappointed to learn that due to the strom the spa would be closed. This was completely understandable and I was emailed to let me know that a refund/ rebooking email would be sent within 14 days. I am still awaiting an email and have spent considerable time waiting on the phone/ emailing and even DMing on instagram and still awaiting any response....The customer service is so so poor and lets down the Aqua Sana brand. Reluctant to re book after this experience- so stressful!
