good online aquatic retailer to deal with postage reasonable would cost me more to do the 40mile round trip to my nearest outlet, no guaranty they would have watt I want, doing it on line is a lot easier .

They have the products I needed in an easy to find manner at a keen price.

Aquatics Online is a drop-ship company. This essentially means that all products are "ordered" through the storefront but are then fulfilled by another company on a case by case basis. This usually means that there are big delays in getting your things delivered because the supplying company may work with various other stores.

In my case, an item was listed as "In stock" but wasn't in stock at all. It had to be ordered in from "the warehouse" and wouldn't be ready to ship out for another 6 days. I was straight-up lied to and told that an email was sent regarding this, but it never was. Good job I enquired.

Overall very good service and delivery without problem.
Just a few points. Would benefit from more pipe fittings being available on line and the ability to track orders and select delivery date and time.

Partial delivery as one item was not sent due to change of policy regarding supported countries. This was communicated with 10 days delay creating issues in my tank

I had to chase my order repeatedly only to be let down completely, when finally after 2 weeks from my placing the order the manager David, who had assured me the package would be sent via next day delivery sent it first class on a Thursday. This was after I had explained I was going away on the Saturday and needed the items to be in place before I left. Poor service from the start will not purchase there again.

we were impressed that we were advised there may be a slight delay in our order, which we felt was good customer service. The goods arrived as promised in perfect condition.

Could be better but delivery time is a way long

Bought a 25ft python water changer, which I am very happy with. It really increases the speed of my water changes and my back greatly appreciates it. No more lugging around 25 Litre water drums.
However the item actually cost £3.50 to post by Royal Mail, but the P&P charge was £8.99. Had I added a 10ft extension piece to the order the P&P cost would have been an eye watering £18.99. Please David get these charges down so it makes economic sense to do more business with you.

Only fault we found is that they are'n't completely geared for overseas orders. Got halfway through the order form then couldn't make the payment. Found it very frustrating and time consuming. However, we had to hang the expense and ring them from Spain. They were then very helpful, rang us back and took our order. This needs pointing out to any other overseas customers, or adapting their on-line order web page to enable ex-pats to order without the expense of a 'phone call.
Overall: good service for quality goods.

I ordered the uv bulbs several/many days ago and certainly dont expect to be asked how it was before the items were even dispatched . I would have thought more attention should be given to getting the items to the customer and forget chasing praise because there is none in this case.
