Great Experience!

ARC have been acting in behalf of an insurance company to whom I owed money. In about 3 calls with them, I have always found them to be polite, professional, helpful & understanding. I cannot therefore understand why others have posted negative comments about them. Perhaps I've just been lucky with getting someone nice? I would particularly commend their "Lilli" for being so nice, listened patiently & had full empathy with my financial difficulties & mental health issues. She agreed to put my debt on hold for 30 days, allowing me time to get some financial advice & decide how to proceed before I speak to them again. I was very anxious about speaking to them but she allayed all my fears & put me at ease. In my experience, few debt management companies are worthy of positive feedback but ARC Europe certainly are!

Appear Amature

Strange that this company is linked so much with a gym.
The gym in particular is another story, like so many others I have had a bad experience with YouFit gym and ARC (assumed debt collecting agency).
I received an email and text message from this lowlife, at first I was highly suspicious suspecting a scam as they spelt my name as Jhon.
YouFit gym were clearly in the wrong, in many ways and admitted so, I have now sent a second email as I insist on written confirmation that this has been cancelled and not affected my credit rating.
If they do not respond I am seriously considering legal advice. and reporting both companies to the media.
This is bully boy tactics and should be stopped.

Rude employees with terrible people skills.

Cancelled my gym membership due to financial changes and they continued to harass me daily.
The worst part was on the 24/02/23 I encountered Rude, hostile female employee who couldn't even say the right name on the phone to me, and continued to have terrible manners and people skills when I explained I had been in contact with the gym and that their services were not needed.

Very insensitive company and need to train there employees in basic manners and people skills.

Parasites

Parasites! Gym wrongly sent my account to them-they have since realised there mistake and revoked this action- immediately called arc, got a rude foreign voiced lady who told me I had to give 3 months notice, completely incorrect as even gym said we could give notice whenever, who just didn't want to listen to me at all. Complete jobsworth and a joke of a company that are just after money. Sent them an email to tell them this with a copy of the email from the gym advising we owe nothing and case closed. Let's see if they actually close it there end

Shambolic

Having cancelled our gym membership in November 2022 with adequate notice which was acknowledged and accepted by the gym, I got a call from ARC in January trying to collect payments for December and January. I contacted the gym who emailed ARC and copied me in but still ARC kept contacting me. It took several calls and emails for these jokers to go away. In the end I refused to repeat all my personal security details when they called and put the phone down on them. I had to contact the gym head office. Finally ARC acknowledged that the account was clear. Waste of time and lots of stress caused. No apology at all!

Unfair admin charge

This company prays on the vulnerable with administration charges that are unfair and disproportionate to the money outstanding. The admin charge was £2 short of what was owed. The government needs to sort out companies that prey on the most vulnerable in society. It's only a matter of time before they end up in financial trouble just like the banks did with unfair administration charges.

Poor customer service, clueless staff

I`ve been contacting this people because I had a letter from them about an overdraft with Nationwide and they didn`t even know I was sorting out already 75% of the payment. Very rude and not willing to help... is clear that they put money before customers and try to take adventege of the vulnerable people...
Spoke on 05.12.22 with Cassie on live chat and she close the chat with me for no reason... very poor comunication between them and their clients/ customers... shocking customers experience... looking for ways to escalate to Ombudsman...

I had a contract for a gym that was…

I had a contract for a gym that was cancelled and refunded due to the company’s administrative failures. ARC seems a clueless company. I started receiving calls from this company that only rang for a second or two so I couldn’t answer.
They called and text several times a day, the calls so short no one would have chance to answer.
When I called back the advisor was clueless and didn’t even know about proof of debt which according to debt advice is a crucial stage of them being able to request a payment and enforce a debt.
