I used the Argos Click & Collect service at the Sainsbury's store in Woolwich, and I had a great experience.
The customer service was excellent from start to finish. I was greeted warmly by a friendly member of staff who guided me through every step of collecting my order. After I paid, I was asked to wait for a moment, and within about a minute they returned with my package.
Before I left, they kindly reminded me to keep my receipt in case I had any issues with the item and needed to return it. Throughout the whole process, the staff were polite, welcoming, helpful, and professional.
I am very satisfied with the service and would happily recommend Argos to my friends.

The website was so hard to navigate. Once I found what I was looking for. Argos tried to sell so many other products I didn't want. Payment was sooooo slow. Then when I went into to store to collect, I had to ask a Sainsbury's member of staff to find the Argos staff. (Pauline) Who was asleep in the back of Argos. That's why people use Amazon.

Impossible to buy Pokemon cards on this app, get to check out and payment always fails. Then when you do manage to get some you’ll be refunded instantly.
I did somehow purchase a first partner trainer box 2nd July it’s now 17th and still waiting for the item to be sent to store to collect! Called numerous times nobody picks up at the store! Went down and asked face to face where is my item!? Nobody knows! Still waiting! Terrible customer service!

I ordered my son an electric scooter on 30th may it arrived not working at all I contacted argos who then referred me to manufacturer razor instead of actually replacing the item I've been sent spare parts twice now to fit myself and it's still not working. Absolutely shambles I've tried contacting argos for a refund and nobody is getting back to me via email or letter. My son got this as an end of term gift and he's not been able go out with his friends at all because you cannot even replace your faulty item!!! Will not be using argos again. £160 scooter sitting doing nothing. I will be taking this up with the ombudsman as I should not be dealing with the manufacturer when it's within 30 days.

The dishwasher has been faulty from almost the outset. After months of dealing with the manufacturer (Hisense), numerous emails, repeated requests for photographs, multiple engineer visits and countless hours spent trying to resolve the problem, the appliance is now completely unusable.
The latest engineer visit was particularly frustrating. The engineer attended without the correct replacement part, meaning no repair could even be attempted. I had taken time away from work to be at home for the appointment, only for it to be completely wasted.
Despite all of this, I have now reached the point where I simply want to exercise my consumer rights with the retailer. Unfortunately, Argos makes this unnecessarily difficult because there is no practical way to communicate directly with a member of their customer service team.
When customers purchase from a retailer, they should expect that retailer to stand behind the products they sell and provide accessible customer support when things go wrong. Instead, I have found myself caught between the retailer, the manufacturer and the repair company, with nobody taking ownership of resolving the issue.
I would welcome a response from Argos' customer relations team so that this matter can finally be resolved through collection of the faulty appliance and an appropriate remedy in accordance with my statutory consumer rights.
Order details can be provided privately if Argos wishes to investigate and resolve this matter.

Missing item & no means to speak to a human being to correct their error

Terrible experience , order cancelled, but item still available on line . Called up , the automated system doesn’t contain the prompts needed , assumed the wrong thing and just kicks you out , impossible to speak to a person . Appalling customer service.
Your company is terrible I won’t use it again , using social media for contact is poor , I don’t use these services .

Absolutely vile experience.
Purchased a vaccum and was convinced to take out the insurance. It was sold as ‘accidental replacement’. I was informed I could take it into any store to claim.
It broke and tried to take it in to be informed I had the electrical product care and had to be dealt with by D&G.
This was not what was sold to me by the sales assistant and not the leaflet that was attached to my receipt.
Absolutely did not care that they had misold insurance, which I find absolutely appalling. It’s a FCA violation and just vile crooked behaviour.
Argos is dead, I’ve never done this before with any store but I will absolutely not make another purchase with Argos. I have no faith in them anymore, just another scammy company preying on their customers.

I would like to make an official complaint against the incompetent people you hire for customer service. I have ordered a fridge on 25th of June with the order number 262361191. Which was suppose to get delivered on the 1st of July. I took a day off work to accept the delivery as it’s a fridge and my wife wouldn’t be able to lift it in. No one bothered to deliver it that day or call me to let me know they won’t be arriving. No one bothered to call me to inform me of any situation of even try to re arrange a delivery. I waited a few days and as I didn’t recieve any communication from Argos I called customer service who said some poor excuses about a lorry. The representative on the phone said a re delivery On a small van will be booked for the 17th of July. I waited and asked for another day off work. In the morning the delivery driver gave me a excuse of not being able to lift the item on and off a smaller van and that there are parking problems or something which is a absolute lie and nonsense because there are no parking restrictions outside our house. It’s actually free parking on both sides and we have a driveway too. When I called customer service instead of the representative being helpful he told me I should order a smaller item? Who is he to dictate what I need?! How dare he tell me what I should buy. I ordered this item because we have been suffering with a small fridge with 2 children including one being disabled and our current fridge does not work properly. I’ve wasted 2 days off work and had the poorest customer service over the telephone which is unacceptable and non existent. Dont waste your time here!!

Extremely horrible experience.
Bought a washing machine through Argos and the delivery guys threw away a component of the washing machine along with the packaging (they threw it by mistake as they only had to throw away the packaging).
Argos is now telling us buy the part separately from the supplier, instead of offering to provide it to us.
We can't even return the washing machine anymore.
They're great if everything goes smoothly, but if you encounter an issue then you're really snookered!

I bought a built in Hotpoint Microwave via Argos because it clearly stated that the warranty is for 3 years plus 10 years parts. When registering with Hotpoint they say it is 1 year plus 10 years. I hereby expect Argos to cover the 3 year warranty that they and Hotpoint stated would happen.
I don't use FB or X. Following your response I just tried Argos Support Chat and it just drops out of the conversation. You need to provide a contact email address please.
