I ordered a new washing machine a few days ago and paid the money and paid extra to recycle old product.
Today I receive a text message informing me that my order has been cancelled, no reason given no nothing
So I try to contact customer service which is the equivalent of climbing everest as impossible to find someone to talk too, really wish I'd just ordered off amazon or curry's.

If I could give zero I would awful service had to put a request in with my bank to get money back as they were un willing to help with an error that was on their part happy to take your money once they have it they don’t want to know.
No effective way of contacting argos
After 2 weeks my order has been cancelled. No explanation given. Tried chat online to check on status of order. Hopeless. Tried ringing and got fobbed off when I said I was ringing about my order. No e-mail address or way to speak to anyone. Lack of information appauling. Refund takes 7 days according to Argos.

Emily at Scunthorpe
I'd just like to commend Emily at your Scunthorpe store within Sainsburys. I had Argos care plan on my sons computer monitor which fell and stopped working. Emily was very attentative from the beginning as I couldn't locate my care plan or what it covered. She helped me through it all locating my email from a year ago and checking the system. Straight away she read what I was covered for and gave me my options which I chose was a replacement. The item wasn't in stock but she ordered it wrote down all the details and told me to come back the next day. So I did she spotted my in the queue and was very appoligetic that due to black Friday it hasn't come yet. This was okay as she spotted me so I wasn't waiting too long to get this news. I went back later she was very busy as was the store. Everyone ignored me yet she seemed to be running back and forth. I waited to get to the front of the queue this time, despite holding a computer monitor in my arms not one sales assistant made eye contact or spoke to me. Emily apologized she hadn't seen me sooner she had my monitor saved at the side she did all the paperwork she even found my replacement was in the sale which meant my refund would cover the next accidental damage replacement. With absolutely no issues she sorted everything, I've had care with Argos before but this was care plus in the human form! She was apologetic but as soon as I was done I moved away to let her see to the customer behind me. He made a comment that our queue must have been invisible as no one could see us. Good service by Argos but absolute top star service from Emily a credit to your store with down to earth realistic people skills. Thank you Emily from me and my happy son now he has his replacement monitor! :)

During Black Friday sales almost every retail offer a sales and they prepared themselves for that because they knew its going to be very busy I decided to get benefit from these sales my bad luck i chose argos over other retailers i placed the order waited 5 days to deliver then i got the text that due to something they cannot deliver it today I contacted them they said lory broke down i said okay these things happened and they said now the earliest i can get my order i have to wait for another 5 days so i waited again then they day of delivery i contacted them again they said your order will be delivered today when i got the order i only got bedsheets and other stuff but main item was missing when i complained they said its technical problem they can’t deliver this item they can only give me the refund which i will get after 07 days . Its not big amount order but if they are having problems on these small things i dont what happened if you order something that is big and expensive. After talking with chat support for 1 hour they told me they cant resolve my problem at moment i have to contact them back after 4 hours 😂😂😂 i mean just wow

If I could give zero Stars I would . AVOID
If I could give zero Stars I would .
I ordered a item for delivery on Saturday and was told it would be delivered the following Wednesday between 2pm and 9pm.
I waited in all day and then received text message after 6pm to tell me they could not deliver.
First of all I telephoned and everytime they said they put me through to a agent the phone went dead .
So I used the Chat which was just as bad because the connectivity kept cutting out .
I finally spoke on chat was was told my delivery was stuck , stuck never heard that excuse before.
Now I have to wait until Saturday days later to get my delivery and no doubt they won't deliver and find some excuse.
Argos used to be a decent company but now its awful, no care for customers.
I would advise people not to use Argos for delivery .
I myself will never buy anything from Argos that has to delivered .
Avoid !
Hi ordered set of 4 dinning chairs paid…
Hi ordered set of 4 dinning chairs paid the £7 quid for normal delivery from 7am to 6pm waited in no delivery so went on the chat site and he came up with didn't have the staff to deliver them so said need to rearrange the delivery, so me getting angry phoned help line and she came up with the excuse theve damaged one of the chairs so I have to wait another 5 days for a delivery and that they would waver the £7quid delivery charge and give me a £20 voucher which what can you get with that asked if they can not just take it of the price of the chairs but they can't, so still angry next morning phoned up again spoke to someone else who said they had turned up but no one was in that's a blatant lie as I never left the house all day and night ,so that's 3 different excuses, and by the way I've been with argos 40 years disgraceful.
The website will not allow a customer…
The website will not allow a customer to pay for an item that would be in store tomorro but it will not be in store tomorrow because of the none payment caused by that pathitic useless website it's only been shit since 2011

Terrible customer service
Sold me a "medium" mattress that was extremely soft. Refused to apply the discount on another mattress when I asked for an exchange. Avoid.
I bought headphones (Fresh & Rebel Clam…
I bought headphones (Fresh & Rebel Clam Ace )that have a 100% customer satisfaction rating. The ones I bought hurt my head and I took them back for a refund. I couldn't have a refund because the seal was broken on the packaging. I couldn't have known they would hurt my head and give me an headache without trying on, requiring me to break the seal on the box. I tried the online chat and 3 different Argos numbers to try and complain, I would get cut off from the phone and the live chat couldn't help. Apparently if you buy from a Sainsbury's Argos it is at the managers discretion as to whether you get a refund. There are no email addresses that are suitable for a complaint. I managed to find one, but it sent back a message saying they couldn't respond to 'returns'. I wanted to leave a product review. I asked on their navigation page how I leave a review and it directed me to the bottom of the product page. I couldn't find it and when I researched that Argos invite you to leave a product review by email, alas not everybody gets an invite to the review party !!! I will never use Argos again. I've wasted an afternoon and £45. Even the manager in the store said they are impossible to contact. Buy bye Argos !
(I don't have Facebook or Twitter, so if I get a reply please don't suggest I contact you there, please provide an email address that I can contact you on, like a reputable trustworthy Company would !!!)
Coffee machine miles away
I ordered a coffee machine and was informed that it would be delivered on the 18th November 2025. I got a phone call from the delivery driver who asked me for my address and postcode, which I gladly gave him. Apparently the address was correct but the post code was different. I asked him where he was and he told me he was on Hampshire only about 200miles from me. I said to him well you have a four hour drive ahead of you he got flustered saying he needs to contact his boss. I said I'll see you in four hours and left it at that. I phoned customer service, that was an ordeal after explaining the problem I was met with a laissez-faire attitude and was told my money has been refunded. Argos you have just lost another customer.
Poor service
I am very unhappy with argos i have had a account with them for over 30 years and my debit card was used with fraud through my email used at argos so now they have blocked my account and for the past 4 days they actually dont no how they have blocked it amd keep asking me to reset my password i carnt even go to the shop to purchase something as it will not go through
Terrible
I’ve always thought Argos was great. It’s so bad now. They have zero customer service. They just say nothing they can do and then fob you off to the store who then says you have to call and vice versa. I would rather buy from a high street retailer until today. My last 3 orders haven’t ever arrived at the store - they take the money and then you have to wait to be refunded. It’s a scam! Please don’t order from Argos. Amazon has amazing customer service compared to this dodgy company.
Don't buy a computer
Omg computer was shutting down every day so arranged with Argos for an exchange within 30 days, they told me they returning the supplier to cyber power but they sent it to CMS/ Argos redistribution. 5 days later Argos email me the message they had saying customer has dropped it so no refund, after 15-20 discussions with live chat and Argos managers they tell me I will have to take legal action and now I'm £1650 in debt! What do I do, I can't afford legal action aswell. Please someone advise as the stress has made me have more epilepsy seizures than ever! Hope this helps someone change there mind from using argos
Our Dave the unit manager in the…
Our Dave the unit manager in the Sainsbury’s franchise, Aylesbury seriously needs some customer service training.
After making contact with Core Services concerning the correct way to go about returning a faulty pressure washer ( 3 year warranty) that was 2 months old back to Argos- this I did and was met with barely concealed hostility, arrogance and total unprofessionalism.
Treating potential customers with rudeness and suspicion will only do one thing, lose you future sales!
No more Argos, after all there’s plenty of competition out there with much more “in tune” staff who don’t treat people like criminals….
Do not use
Bought a tumble drier 6 weeks ago and was broken ,after calling support they sent out a repair engineer who said was the dial .
The dial was fixed and the drier still doesn't work after calling argos they said I had to contact a repair at bush.
I told them my contract is with argos and not bush .
I cannot return the item until I have spoken with bush and recieved a number or the opportunity to have it fixed again .
This is 6 weeks old and wasted 6 hours of drying time the first time 3 hours then after it was fixed 3 hours again ,then had to use a clothes airer.
DO NOT USE ARGOS FOR ANYTHING THEY ARE THE WORSE FOR CHEAP DODGEY ITEMS
