The worst company I have ever ordered from and shocking customer service. Don’t be fooled by Instagram and there influencers!

I do think Arista really need to…

I do think Arista really need to reconsider the courier service they use, this seems to be a constant let down reading the reviews. We got our delivery date and agreed on this. We have just moved to Isle of Skye so we were over the moon that they were going to deliver! My partner had a missed call by all of two minutes, he kept trying to phone back but there was no answer. As our delivery was between 11-2 and this was around 1 we thought it was a call to let us know they were near. After phoning customer services after the bed didn’t arrive we were told they came and we were not in so they left. After checking cctv they were only outside for two minutes (if lucky) and again my partner had tried to call back numerous times after missing the call by a few minutes. Customer service simply told us we would have to wait for redelivery and couldn’t give us a time frame for this, they couldn’t wait to get us off the phone quick enough every time we phoned tbh. However, the bed did finally arrive a few weeks later. The bed wasn’t the easiest to assemble and we had to drill our own holes for feet and other parts that attached to the bed, with us just moving we did not have a drill to hand.

When we did get the bed built we do absolutely love it and it makes a great addition to our room, the only negative I have is that we do have some damage on the head board, but we were just happy to have a bed! due to the time it took for us to first receive our bed and meaning we are no longer sleeping on the floor haha! If we didn’t get it with 50% off I definitely wouldn’t have paid original price for it unfortunately.

Absolutely Beautiful Bed!

Absolutely beautiful bed! At an affordable price I originally bought a tv bed and mattress and then I won a competition for a tv bed so I actually got the bed for free! It’s such good value! My husband put it up and said it was easy to assemble! Fast delivery think it might of been 3 weeks! The bed is absolutely beautiful, so many off my friends like it too! We love it so much and have been going to bed at like 8pm every night since! So comfy! Thankyou so much! 🖤

Pain putting the bed together

The bed looks nice once you are able to put it together after many hours! Putting together the bed was pain in the ass. The instructions are not well structured. No pre made holes which doesn’t help.

No issues here!

Despatched on a Friday in December and arrived on Wednesday - that's not bad in my eyes. They had my style in stock, so I had no problems there.
No problems changing despatch date this time (and no problem last time either).

Their delivery drivers are just a bit rough and rude. The guy tried to open my front door before I got to the door... ?! What in the world?! (Pressing down very hard too!)
The previous delivery driver wanted to use my brand new (new build) toilet too! Definitely not! And definitely not during covid times. Pointed him to the showhomes office loo though...

This second bed (double) was easy enough to build and took an already very tired 5ft2" female a few hours, with lots of breaks. The superking we bought first took a few days because I wanted to enjoy the process ha!

Love the storage under the bed. Extra ottoman storage would have been even better, but I didn't want to pay more. Great bargain with the discount code!

Both the double and the superking are sturdy, but squeaky when "exercised" on...

Great bed

Great bed, fantastic price! I’m so pleased with the storage it gives us and it was simple to assemble. Only little niggle was delivery, I assumed the date I picked was the day it would arrive- not the day it would be dispatched. (They may state this, I might have missed the info)

A few flaws in the system

They aren't terrible beds once you have it up and it makes sense why they heavily promote '50% off' all year round because they wouldn't be worth their full price in my opinion.
Delivery isn't good, you are unable to chose your slot - you get given a time and day and if it's not ideal you have to wait a few days for another text /email to ask if the next day is convenient - this could take ages!
They were also delivered with holes all over the cardboard boxes and a few scuffs to the items. (Which I realise is down to the delivery company and not Arista)
The instructions could be clearer and we had to drill our own holes to place screws where ideally there would be some kind of marker to assist.

I think ultimately it's a big gamble ordering a bed without viewing it first and I have learnt from this.

On a positive note, the gas lift system on the ottoman is strong enough to lift our heavy 60KG mattress and the cream colour is very nice, the fabric is nice though I dread having to clean it if anything gets on it! Good storage solution and does look modern and nice.

Good

The bed is a very good price for what you get (if you're able to get an Instagram influencer discount code that is). I'd be disappointed if I paid full price. The bed looks very expensive once put together, however the fixings and bolt holes are poorly made. We ordered a king size ottoman wing bed, the piece of wood that fixes to the frame at the bottom of the bed preventing it from going right down was too small so we had to make our own, and the holes for the headboard wings didn't even exist - you have to make your own! Once put together it looks great and the customer service/email updates were great, just be mindful if you're not very handy or good at putting furniture together!

Sorry to hear you had trouble attaching your side wings. The headboard style you're referring to is the only one we sell without the holes already in place, this is because we sell this headboard without wings. It used to have the holes in, but the customers who didn't want wings were then left with holes. The best way for us to solve this was to keep the holes, but for them not to be visible on the fabric side. So then it keeps both sides happy as all that's needed is to pierce the fabric slightly to feed the bolt through to the inner holes. Hope that makes sense and has cleared it up a little for you😊

Love my bed!!

Was a bit skeptical at first but went ahead and ordered it!! Delivery was cancelled with no explanation but got it the next day!
I managed to assemble it by myself and it’s very sturdy and have loads of space underneath it- I have no complaints!!
I’m absolutely chuffed with my new bed and looks fabulous in my room!

Poor delivery and quality

Disappointed we were unable to book an afternoon time for delivery or arrange a weekend slot. Had to book a day off work and lose money to receive the delivery.

The bed is lovely but having been up 2 weeks, when we sit on the bed the slats come out from one side of the bed so not overal happy with the quality of it

Sorry to hear you didn't receive a suitable delivery slot. Whilst our delivery partner does deliver on weekends, they can't visit every area on every weekend so sometimes these slots can take a little bit longer to be arranged.

Amazing ottoman bed 😍

Dithered for ages about whether to trust these reviews but my bed arrived 4 days ago and I can’t fault it! Better than I expected, I was worried about it creeking but it doesn’t make any noise, the ottoman feature is very good and quality is fab. 10/10!

Need to look at delivery options

The bed is lovely but the wait for delivery is ridiculous and it isn't very well explained what to expect. To rearrange delivery, they just put you at the back of the queue and keep suggesting dates every day or two until you get one you're happy with.

We understand some slots aren't always suitable due to work and other commitments but they will always endeavour to re-arrange within 5 days and also offer weekend slots - these can sometimes take a little longer to be arranged and are subject to availability in your area on that day

Amazing bed & great customer service

Changed my order to a different bed while I was waiting for it to be dispatched and they were really efficient and helpful in Customer Services, despite how busy they are at the moment! The bed arrives safely packaged and is really lovely, would definitely recommend.
