Having shopped with Arc previously, once again I have no complaints.
Easy to order on-line, price competitive. Free and fast delivery which you can be tracked throughout the entire journey. Good communications from the carrier as well.
Great end to end customer experience.

Website often makes bold red claims that they make every effort to price match or at least get close to any competitors pricing. So I politely pointed out an item I wished to purchase was far cheaper elsewhere.

One staff member then walked off out of site into an office area (Presume to look on internet at competitor’s websites), returned and informed me that I'm wrong and items not cheaper! So out comes my phone to have quick online double check of several competitors websites and I then politely show them via my phone that I'm not wrong.

Same staff member then clearly became agitated and simply refused to reduce item at all. This is the word for word reply I received “Well then don’t buy it here, we’re not a charity”, now at no point had I been rude, so he’s sarcastic reply was completely unmerited. If I hadn’t been standing there with my 6 year old son there would have been a few very choice words exchanged with this chap.

Item in question was approx. 15% cheaper at several competitors, so far from taking the **** when asking about possible price match. Let alone to have staff more or less imply I’d lied about price when they knew full well I was correct well before showing them via my own phone.

All smiles until you dare question something, and it seems the online side of business is far worse going by the many very negative reviews here. Treat customers well and you can expect repeat business and word of mouth sales, but that all seems lost on these clowns.

Avoid.

I ordered a few items for my turtles, i was desperate for the fluval e thermometer as current one was not working. I emailed them to check it was in stock, got an instant response saying it was but a small item wasn't, which wasn't essential to me anyway. They refunded that item and the fluval arrived the next day! Happy turtles and a very happy customer :-), will definitely be using you again.

We have just purchased an Aqua One Aquavis 130 aquarium from Ark Pets Online and are completely blown away with the level of service provided. Prior to Ordering the aquarium from Ark Pets (which was the cheapest on the net by a LONG way) I had a couple of questions regarding the item which were answered professionally and quickly giving me all the information required.to be confident it was the correct aquarium for us. The aquarium was delivered the following day, by themselves NOT A COURIER in atrocious weather (3 inches of snow). They brought the item into the house and unpacked the tank to ensure it was in one piece and I was happy with it.

I would highly recommend Ark Pets Online and will definitely be using them in the future.

I would like to recognise Ark Pets for their wonderful customer service, something which is thin on the ground with a lot of companies. My replacement light unit was sent immediately and shipping cost refunded without ever once having to chase. I will definitely recommend.

I ordered 2 Juwel Vision tanks and they arrived as scheduled, which was within 5 business days of ordering. I was very pleased with both the customer service and the competitive price and am very happy to recommend them.

The gold fish filter stopped working so when I ordered on from Ark I assumed it would arrive in a couple of days, but it was here the day after, great for the fish!!

Ordered an external filter from ArkPetsOnline. Item arrived damaged. Arranged for item to be returned and replaced. Was sent returns procedure which indicated to return the item as it was sent out so that they could claim.via warranty. Returned product via cheapest method approx £13 as stated on returns procedure. Was told they would refund this cost. Got refunded £3.95. Left shortchanged. Rude emails from company saying they asked for only part to be returned which wasn't the case. Won't be using again! Beware.

Have dealt with this company for a few years now no problems whatsoever. Delivery quick and free. Telephone call from company if item not in stock and they have an equivalent item they could send.
Would highly recommend this company.

Ordered twice from this company now & both orders have arrived next day.

Their prices are very competitive & they have a good range of products.

E-mailed this company and bought online 2 uv lamps on the 10th October 2014 - they arrived the following morning and no expense was spared on the packaging, my uv lamps were safely delivered by the post office which at times rough handle parcels but this parcel was so well packed it was brilliant and time taken to deliver was fantastic.

Lots of bad reviews on here but I can safely say all of my orders are delivered quickly with no issues, my last one was delivered the next day. You'll struggle to find better prices for aquarium stuff! Thank You, I'll be shopping again soon.

If you want aquarium accessories you can rely on Arkpets.They have all you will ever want.My goldfish likes the Fluval2 flter,and it has given him a new lease of life.

Ordered a skimmer as my one is on its way out after a week no communication so I emailed the company only to be told that it's out of stock I can't believe the terrible service caused loads of issues in my marine tank. If I was advised that the product was out of stock as soon as possible I could have ordered elsewhere and would have had my skimmer by now 6 working days later only to be advised the issue after I emailed them about where my order Was

You just can't beat them on price and that's why I buy all my fish pond from this site. Don't buy anywhere else but here :-)
