Used the Inverness location recently. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, the hire car was literally brand new and they run a free shuttle back into Inverness if you need it once you have returned the car

I rang Manchester Airport branch. Ryan dealt with my query. He was absolutely brilliant. Listened to concerns I'd had whilst trying to book with Enterprise, Hertz and Elliotts. He sorted a deal which exceeded their service - and even turned out cheaper! Extremely pleased.

Overall a good car rental experience
We rented through Celtic Legend. Overall our experience with Arnold Clark was very good. Arnold Clark met us at the Inverness Airport. Quick and easy pick up of our car. The Hyundai Tucson was comfortable and had the added benefit of being hybrid so the gas mileage was nearly 50 mpg. The only problem we encountered was that we intended to return the car in Edinburgh but arrived at the Arnold Clark office in Edinburgh at 5:35 PM and they had closed at 5:30 PM. We had called and asked if they could delay closing for us but the answer was no. We decided to keep the car as we had intended to pick up another car 2 days later. The agent we called at Arnold Clark in Edinburgh was able to arrange for us to keep the car, adjusted our reservation and even refunded the one way rental fee. Other than our request to return the car a few minutes late, our experience with the Arnold Clark staff was very good. The agent we spoke to the following morning in Edinburgh was very friendly and helpful. The agent we spoke to when we called Inverness to pay for the adjusted reservation was also very helpful. (not sure why we had to call Inverness to pay) And the agent who checked us out in Inverness and checked us back in when we returned to Inverness (same agent) was also very helpful. The only poor experience we had was calling the central customer service to try to arrange for a late return in Edinburgh.
