The service I received from Artisan Roast when I needed to exchange some goods was just excellent. They went out of their way to locate the item I wanted. Being a bit of a coffee noob, I popped into their shop in Broughton Street to buy my first bag of beans. They couldn't have been more helpful - talking me through the options, and even giving me a small cup of grounds away with me to show what kind of grind level I should be aiming for, for my Aeropress - excellent service.
After my first bag of beans ran out I ordered some different varieties using their online store. Thanks to my own silly error I ordered green beans for one of the bags instead of roasted beans. When I let them know they immediately shipped a replacement bag of roasted beans and asked me to either mail the green beans back or drop them off at a store - again, excellent service.
And the beans? I've only opened 2 of the 4 bags purchased so far, but they are both excellent.

I have used Artisan Roast for the past 5 years. I recently had an issue with a recent order, the bag was burst on arrival. The customer service team was really helpful and provided same day support to resolve the issue.

I've bought coffee from a few different mail order companies over the years. The coffee from Artisan Roast is definitely the best I've tasted. Great quality and taste.

I made an order for collection and recieved some confusing emails. I got onto their webchat and Olivia was excellent in contacting the collection cafe and enquiring about my order. She passed the information down to me immediately and was very helpful in answering my questions.

The people who work at Artisan Roast are wonderful in person and online. Highly recommend them!

I've been using the subscription service for a while now, so that I don't have to try and remember to pick up good coffee beans when in town! For me it's well worth the small postage cost for the convenience. The quality of coffee is always amazing and it's nice that they send a surprise variety/roast each time, with a wee description card. When I needed to skip a month, they sorted this for me straight away and it didn't incur any extra fee.

Coffee is great from here and is reasonably priced for the high quality. I have compared to a few other companies (Edinburgh and down South) and much prefer Artisan Roast. Customer service is good too✊

I adore Artisan Roast!
Quality- The quality of coffee is amazing, choice is great, you can find some gems! Very carefully selected collection which changes regularly, which is dream come true for anywhere who wants to have unique experience. I order my coffee for home usage, on regular basic, love to wake up to quality delicious coffee (usually French press)
Website- each coffee is very well described, great help when you are unsure which coffee to go for, also if you don’t know much about types of coffee and regions , you can learn a lot! Also very aesthetically pleasing.
Customer service-professional, quick and helpful. I recently made a mistake with my order and contacted CS, Olivia was amazing.
Price- considering the quality of coffee you are getting which is very high, and service I really think products are very well priced. Plus free delivery is such a bonus, grateful! AR please don’t ever take it away :)

Coffee subscription has been first class, different each time which is a great way to try a range of coffees. All really nice. Had a slight issue with an incorrect delivery (beans instead of ground) which was perfectly handled without any fuss. Recommend signing up!

We had a few questions, mostly as a result of our own missteps and Olivia from customer service was just terrific in sorting it out proactively, including forwarding to me an email unintentionally sent to Artisan by a family member that was intended for me!

I buy beans from Artisan Roast once every couple of months - there’s a few really good options in Edinburgh and I like to use them all. AR has some unique roasts (whiskey thief) that I’ve really enjoyed and always like to try.

The online help I’ve received has been very good too.

The best coffee beans!! We get a monthly subscription of the decaf coffee beans - they are freshly roasted and taste absolutely incredible! I’ve always struggled to get good tasting decaf coffee beans until I came across artisan coffee roasters! Any friends or family who taste it cannot tell it’s decaf!
We’ve also ordered the various different caffeinated coffee beans and given them as gifts which friends/family have loved!
Customer service is excellent and Olivia answers any queries/replies immediately.

Best quality coffee, excellent customer support, highly recommended.

It was ok - didn’t listen to my request, remade the drink (a luke warm chai latte which I asked to be a bit warmer) but it was exactly the same. I know they will tell me about optimal temps but this was not ‘my’ optimal. Staff pretty indifferent and not particularly friendly. Left the drink and the cafe 😢

I love their cafe in Leith. Great coffee and very pleasant staff. Also, as the cafe doesn't have wi-fi, you rarely get customers having long, loud conversations on their phone which is a real bonus for me.

I'm buying coffee and equipment from Artisan Roast for years and their coffee is consistently of a top quality that can be bought in Scotland for great price. I like trying new roasteries across UK, but Artisan Roast are the only ones that I have a coffee subscriptions from since I know I can rely on them that much.
Whenever I needed to contact them about anything their customer support is excellent, responsive, positive and always helped me out.
Honestly if you are after excellent coffee grab a bag or two from them, totally worth it.

I have used Artisan Roast to send coffee as presents to friends and family over a couple of years and they have always provided excellent quality coffee and a prompt delivery service. Recently, I had a delivery problem, due to my mistake, and the help and support I received to resolve it from Artisan Roast was first rate and much appreciated.
