I moved to the UK 1 year and 8 months ago. Since then, almost every couple of months, I have ordered a new pack of coffee from different specialty roasters. None of them had any light roasted coffee beans for maximum acidity. Brits drink so much coffee and still haven't learned. Anyway, I want to thank the folks at Artisan Roast; you truly appreciate and respect high-quality coffee beans. And now, I am enjoying the smoothest V60 I've had in years.

Superb coffee and always a great experience ordering from AR (or visiting their cafes). There’s always lots of choice of different types of beans and taste profiles. They offer lots of grind options (and it’s never any trouble to grind if like me you sometimes forget to request it ground in the initial order!) . Been buying from Artisan Roast for many years and will continue to do so. Always delivered (with no postage charge) within a few days of ordering.

We love artisan roast and have been getting coffee delivered for a few years. Great range of different type with clear infographics on taste profiles. Have recently reached out to customer service for an issues of my own making they were absolutely fab!

The best roasters in Edinburgh. Their wide selection of beans means everyone can find something for themselves, and they deliver them to your doorstep without a postage fee! As to their coffee shops, they ruin any other coffee experience in Edinburgh because there’s simply no better brew than at Artisan Roast! And as if this wasn’t enough, each and every member of their team is lovely, approachable, and will go the extra mile to help (quite literal in my case when the crew from Broughton St dropped off a tote bag to Leith Walk for me!!!)

I love this company! I love that it is ethical, efficient - I know my order will arrive within a couple of days, the coffee is delicious (I buy beans for the ultimate fresh ground experience!) and I love that I get a discount with my blue-light card. And I am so impressed by how quickly you got back to me on the one occasion I had a query - and how you dealt with that - fabulous! (for your info. I had forgotten to use my blue-light card but you added the discount retrospectively 😊)

I bought these as a late birthday present for my boyfriend. He phoned me the next day and whilst I was fully expecting for him to be overjoyed with the rich flavour of the artisan beans, he was instead disappointed and thought it was some kind of vindictive prank. He described the flavour as "It tastes like I imagined the inside of a Hoover bag tastes following the cleaning of a house fire."

Needless to say I'm now single, again and will be buying artisan teas as romantic gestures in the future. Going back to Bumble as we speak.

My go to roasters now for both espresso and filter. For espresso their blends are easy to extract and very tasty (and always available). For filter I love the fresh selection which usually involves at least 1 natural process, my preferred profile. Delivery smooth and the free delivery on 2+ bags help to manage costs.

Tried their coffee several times - very delicious coffee so now I have an ongoing subscription with them. Customer service is fantastic too - prompt and helpful.

Generally they are a pretty dependable specialty coffee company. However they still use LDPE packaging, rather than using aluminium cans or compostable packaging. While obviously you can drop these off at supermarkets the chances of them actually being recycled into something useful isn't high. So, the coffee is decent, but change your packaging, please.

I have been buying delicious coffee for many years. The coffee is roasted beautifully and the blends are delicous and very reasonable. Free delivery for orders of over 500 Grams, is hard to beat.

The best of the best. Have regularly ordered beans from Artisan Roast for years since discovering them at Caora Dhubh Coffee during a trip to The Isle of Skye in 2020. Gorgeous range of specialty coffee and super speedy delivery. Also the coolest packaging ever!

Firstly, some of the best coffee I’ve ever had! So tasty, such nice vibes and impeccable customer experience. Their help online was also speedy and so incredibly friendly! Can’t recommend them enough :)

I've used Artisan Roast for most of my whole coffee beans for well over 6 years now. So when I say they are my 'Go To' coffee supplier I'm not kidding. I first came across their Janzoon blend holidaying on Skye. It used to be served in the now sadly closed (after covid) Single Track cafe and gallery. Already a coffee snob ( :-) ) I loved the brew so much I asked the owners what it was and they kindly gave details.

I've tried their various other beans and blends but invariably return to my favourite. You'll appreciate that beans and harvests of a natural product can vary year on year, but the quality and taste of Artisan Roast's output never varies, its always top notch. Even better, for a Tyke (Yorkshire folk are 'careful' with money), they are very good value too!

Excellent quality coffee delivered quickly. Always fresh and tasty.

I had the pleasure of communicating with Olivia about a mistake made on my behalf. I had written an incorrect address for my purchase to be delivered to and the parcel was returned to sender. I contacted the company and received a punctual and helpful reply. The mistake was corrected and the item purchased resent and was received by my sister for her birthday. To be honest, I had thought it was a lost cause, as is sadly the case with many companies these days. But not this one! A happy and returning customer due to the efficient communication and problem solving skills. Thank you!
