I have used Ashampoo for years, during that time I have downloaded software for use on my pc. Not once have I ever had problems that Ashampoo was not prompt with assistance. I have also been treated always with a high degree of people skills which I rate as 10. There has been no specific day of excellence, as it has been continuous from start to ongoing.

I tried Ashampoo's DVD burning software after struggling with quirks in other free DVD burning programs and I was delighted to see this one work right off the shelf. It has a professional quality while being very straightforward to use.

I bought Ashampoo PDF Pro 3 recently in a hope I could create a PDF I needed quickly and efficiently. It was advertised as a good replacement for the Adobe Acrobat Pro, which is a lot more expensive. I never thought I would pay such a high price in time and frustration though. The application is struggling with most of the PDF editing tasks, it destroys layout of objects on certain pages generated from Word as PDF, it will randomly lose bookmarks, or references to links. Simple things like adding Page number will damage page content when copying across pages, and no Undo for 50% of changes during editing, and no REDO at all. It's a PROfessional failure rather than a good replacement. I do regret investing into it.

Gute Software - Gute hotline

This company makes software that works. I have been a client for years and years. I really appreciate the ability to migrate the sofware from one PC to the next one without a major hassel and hours on tech suppport to reset the license. I have had some of the software products running for a decade. And I still use them. Others are end of life due to new operating systems and I am still happy with the purchase. I was researching options for PDF software and they didnt show up on the reviews then I did a email search and Ashampoo showed up with a PDF utility that I had purchased a dozen years ago. Knowing how much I liked the company and the support style I looked into my new need and they had a masterful program that does far more than I need but now that I am using it I will expand my PDF usage. It is priceless for me to be able to change computers and reset the license without human intervention. There is no hassel factor when buying from Ashampoo. Take a lesson Sage Software! I will remember to search Ashampoo for all my needs going forward.

PDF Pro3 - A bit clunky. Says it operates using MS Office format. Not true.
If you decide to purchase PDF Pro, make sure it is PDF Pro3, as I purchased Pro2 and was then immediately offered Pro3. It wasn't possible to purchase a discounted upgrade, so I effectively paid twice. I emailed Ashampoo requesting a free upgrade, however, I didn't receive a reply. Very disappointing, so I will think carefully before purchasing any of their other products.
