A medium sized family business that was founded and run by managing director Ricky. The business has went from strength to strength since its inception in 2012 and now employing 11 members of full time staff. The business has slowly grown year on year which has been from the help of our staff and satisfied customers recommendations. We are proud that our regular customers return to us time and time again for their plumbing and heating needs. In 2017 we moved our offices and expanded to new premises where we now have a boiler and bathroom showroom.

Warning ⚠️ stay away from this company

I wanted to make people aware of this issue and warn them to stay away of this company as they are just charging and overcharging clients for the sake of it. They have left me without heating in half of my flat and refused to do anymore work to fix the issue which they confirmed the only problem is that they installed the boiler and the radiators incorrectly.
They just wanted to charge me for spares when they were not necessary and call outs.
We were told they would find a solution after confirming we had paid the second call out fee and once we paid the fee they said they didn’t want to do any more work for us. We do now have to call another company to fix what aspire trading services company installed before.
It is really sad that this type of company which clearly only wants to take advantage of customers is still trading.

As per our telephone discussions, you advised that the engineer done a great job and we are sorry to hear you are now dissatisfied with the service. We will feedback to the team in our regular meetings to ensure we continue to improve our services.

In relation to the cost of our services, it is standard practice that our team advise the cost of each engineer visit and parts. Once the quotation is accepted, our team book the next available appointment.

We appreciate that it can be costly for an engineer visit and we had to attend a number of times to investigate the fault. Our team took this into consideration and as a gesture of good will we removed the cost of two call out charges plus a part. In total we only charged for a boiler service and one hour’s labour.

Our team installed the heating system over 7 years ago however, I’m afraid we are unable to provide further details regarding the service history, as this is under the previous homeowner’s account.

Furthermore, our team investigated further and offered to come out to survey the property to provide a quotation, to carry out the additional works. You indicated you would come back to us and we haven’t yet received a response.
If you wish to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

I would give them 0 stars if possible

I would give them 0 stars if possible. Please stay away from this company. We called them as the heating they installed didn't seem to work properly and after charging us for two call out fees (200£) they confirmed that the only issue was that they installed the radiators and boiler incorrectly.

Absolutely honest and exceptional…

Absolutely honest and exceptional engineer came to give me a quote for a new boiler. I forgot to ask his name. Unlike the previous companies this guy pointed out that my boiler was quite new and no need to change as it would not benefit me in anyway. It’s so nice to get honesty and not get ripped off. I will be sure to keep this company in mind and not hesitate to use there services in future. To the owner your brother is a credit to you. Thank you

Had issues with an old shower no longer…

Had issues with an old shower no longer heating properly. Aspire replaced the part efficiently and quickly. The engineer went out of his way to get it fixed for me the same day.

The lads did a fantastic job

The lads did a fantastic job, not only by sorting out the tap but also in adjusting the immersion heater which has been boiling over and venting into the cold water tank for years. By making this adjustment they have probably saved our tenants hundreds of pounds a year in electricity bills and put back global warming by a couple of months too!

Heating installation

I have to say, Ricky, that I am totally amazed by the work you've done in my house.

To carry out all that intrusive upheaval, in the middle of all my furniture and stuff, with such diligence and efficiency is impressive.
And with a minimum of fuss. In effect: no fuss at all.

Your guys are absolutely great to have around. I knew that, in a sense, from having seen them on building sites but now, once I have had them in my own house, I realise how good they are. Nothing is too much of an effort for them.

They are SOOOO hard-working, they just don't stop... And helpful, flexible, super-friendly. All the time.

And they seem really happy.

And all that is credit to you, and how you run the company, I reckon.

Better trained people out there

Poor. I ended up cutting my hands and doing the job myself whilst being watched by their plumber at £65/hr. I got someone else in who had the required skill set.

I'm adding to the original review in response to the reply from the Aspire: I have no intention of engaging with you as the last time I did I was left with cut hands, a kitchen covered in my blood and no sink for four days. Trustpilot obviously have no problems with the review as it is still up.

I arranged for your company to change a sink out at £65+vat/hr. Your only advice was to buy a certain tap.

To say your plumber told me not to attempt to change the sink is untrue. He had already removed the old sink – so left with me with no option but to attempt it myself. He left the new sink upside down in an unsafe state. At no point did he warn me that the edges were razor sharp. After the bleeding had stopped, I checked the packaging which clearly states the edges are sharp and gloves should be worn. Leaving the area like this was unsafe.

As the area was covered in my blood, there was no option but to stop the job due to the danger from blood borne pathogens. I would never expect someone to work in my house in an area covered in fresh blood. I also needed to stem the bleeding and clean and dress the wounds before cleaning the area thoroughly. I was able to get someone else in with the required skillset four days later to complete the job.

Your plumber was in the house for one hour and was paid for one hour with no quibbles. The job had to be cancelled due to what I considered serious safety concerns.

I have tried continuously to contact you since 23 August by phone and email and you have failed to answer any of our calls or respond to our emails. I have raised this with Trustpilot requesting your review is taken down due to a number of inacuracies. I have copied my email response to you below as a simple way of outlining what actually occured at your appointment:

I would be grateful if you could contact me to discuss the review you left us on Trustpilot. I am concerned that it is somewhat inaccurate on a number of levels. We always aim to offer the best service here at Aspire and I was very disappointed to read this today when I came in to the office.

When you called to book this job in I discussed the replacement of the sink with you and I have checked the call recording to confirm that you did state the sink was a straight like for like swap. When our plumbing engineer arrived he carried out your cylinder service as agreed but when it came to the sink it transpired that your replacement sink was a different size and would require a joiner to alter the worktop to accommodate this. Our plumber removed your sink and advised he would need to get a joiner to make the necessary adjustment. I was informed you then proceeded to attempt the job yourself going against our plumber’s advice and in turn injured your hands. Our engineer attended at the office and informed us of events and agreed to go back in the afternoon with a joiner to complete your installation. My colleague made 3 calls to your mobile but you did not answer therefore we were unable to assist you further.

We did not make any charge in relation to the sink installation we only invoiced you for the Cylinder Service which was completed by our engineer. Our plumbing engineers do not have joinery in their skillset, they are highly trained in Gas and Plumbing and I fully support our engineer in his decision not to cut the worktop this was compounded by the fact that he would not be insured to ustilise you jigsaw, all our engineers’ tools are PAT tested for safety which is a requirement for safety and insurance coverage.

I respectfully request that you contact me to discuss your review, in the meantime I have contacted Trustpilot to object to the review.

Excellent service

I am really impressed by this company. I recently moved house and wanted to upgrade from a hot water tank to a combi boiler. Aspire had been recommended to me by a friend and I will also recommend them based on this experience. The communication from the whole company was excellent. Chris, who installed the boiler, turned up when he was due and was very respectful of my home (covering carpets, cleaning up after he was finished etc). He also kept me updated as the job progressed letting me know how things were going and helped me learn how the boiler worked. Office staff were professional and replied quickly to any questions I had. I also felt it was a fair price for the amount of work undertaken and the added bonus of no problems along the way!

New sink in shower room

We needed a new sink for our small shower room. We walked in and the team were helpful and happy, had what we wanted and even organised someone to do an invisible fill on the old holes in the tiles. Excellent all round.

Upgrading of boiler!

I had my boiler replaced which was a big job as it involved removing a hot water tank from a 3rd floor flat.

The guys were lovely and knew exactly what they were doing.

Definitely recommend Aspire.

Just had the bath removed and a walk-in shower installed. I'd anticipated the usual "problems with tradespeople" but the whole experience was great. After the initial visit I was provided with a work schedule, a few hiccups were sorted without a fuss and the standard of the final job is very good. The office staff were fantastic at keeping me updated, and the workmen turned up when they said they would - a miracle I've never experienced before! Would definitely recommend this firm.

Replaced our boiler and pipework as…

Replaced our boiler and pipework as well as fitting new floors and moving a wall to accommodate a new shower cubicle which they also fitted. Provided a full schedule of works in advance of starting and finished on time with not a single problem which is just as well as we were absent during the works. They have all of the necessary tradesmen in house and all of the work was completed to a very high standard. I would certainly use this company again.

Aspire Trade Services are the business

I'm so happy with my new boiler, with Chris and Declan, and the work they did while they were here. 

They were on time, smartly presented and always polite. They got on with the job in a calm, methodical way and while it took a long time, I never got the feeling they were rushing anything. 

Chris explained various things as they went along and did a great job explaining the new boiler and thermostat control before he left.

The quote I was given was competitive and fair, and as promised, there were no hidden extras so I paid exactly what I expected.

Could not recommend more highly!

Boiler replaced

The quote was very reasonable and cheaper than a lot of others. The work was done in one day and to a high standard. They rebuilt the kitchen cupboard around the new boiler which I was not expecting. One of the valves on the boiler leaked slightly after installation, but Aspire returned promptly to assess it. It was discovered that it was a manufacturing fault and nothing to do with the plumbing, so it fell within the boiler warranty. Aspire quickly arranged for the valve to be replaced under the warranty and now the boiler works fine. Overall I was very impressed and would use them again.
