HP LaserJet P2055dn refurbished
The received an invoice for the HP LaserJet printer I ordered very quickly and the printer itself was delivered in two days. For some reason it went to an address a little down my road but I was alerted and managed to pick it up the same day. The printer was very securely packaged and appears almost like new. I received quick feedback on how to download a printer driver I needed and it is nicely set up. So very happy with the service so far.

Poor systems lost them a sale.
Their systems and lack of careful checking failed them. I ordered a refurbished colour printer from Athena online. After a day I enquired re likely delivery date only to be told they did not have this printer in stock (despite accepting the order and payment). Offered a mono one instead for same cost (mono probably another error on their part) so I looked elsewhere. Staff sounded very helpful.

Hi Michael, we were simply out of stock of the printer you ordered, we did try to offer you an alternative model as per your request but we realised it was a mono printer which we then emailed you back to let you know. We then said we would try to find a colour model but you then said you had bought another one from elsewhere. We never accept an order until you order has been completed. All payment are AUTHORISED and never taken until the goods are shipped. Your order and payment has since ben cancelled. I don't think this deserved a 2 star review?

Not trustworthy
I ordered a monitor which was advertised as being new but was reduced as it had a damaged box.
When the monitor arrived, the box was fine but I was concerned as it had been closed by brown parcel tape and all of the internal items had clearly been opened.
I raised my concerns with the owner of the store who tried to argue that the item was indeed new and was not a returned item. He claimed that it had just been opened for the purposes of testing as the box was damaged.
This can’t be true however as the monitor’s info screen shows that it has 116 hours of use and the box actually contains the original delivery note with the customers name, address and mobile number on it as well as a returns note for comet!!
I will say that the vendor offered to arrange to collect the item if I wasn’t happy with it and I have decided to keep it as the monitor actually appears fine.
That being said I’m annoyed at the product essentially being miss-sold to me and I certainly wouldn’t order again for that reason.

Andrew, this was a mistake by my vendor and not by Athema, I did tell you that we'd be happy to collect the screen from you and give you a full refund because of this. The screen was in clearance hence the very low price you paid. I'm sorry about this but did this really deserve a 1 star review?

I bought a laptop as new.. but I found that it has been refurbished .
After two days I have a Virus and the touchpad didn't work at all, I have checked the Device manager for mice system .. but there was no any mice system to fix the touchpad problem.
After I sent back to them and waiting for a while I have been informed a false information as I required the Technical support engineer report ,they cut the lines off with so rude behaviour.
Therefore I would not recommend them to anyone else.

Absolute nonsense! The laptop was brand new direct from ASUS! The customer informed us that the laptop was "hacked" while in her posession, also that she had a virus on it and blames us for this? We therefore collected the laptop from her and then fully refunded her. She then wanted compensation? No pleasing some people!

Above and Beyond the Call of Duty
My HP Printer had become problematic in that on some pages the print was faded. Having explained the problem to Darren who in turn sought the advice of an engineer, I was given some advice which cured the problem and my printer is again printing beautifully. I was totally impressed with the way Darren went above and beyond the call of duty when in reality he wasn't obliged to. Wonderful Customer Service.....

Bought a refurbished HP MFP M277n printer, as we already owned a couple of them. Quick delivery and as we already have them, easy to setup.
