Athens Car Rental - ACR Reviews 

We have used ACR for many years. We collect our car at the airport and drive across to Kefalonia. We have never had a problem and their cars are excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Staff was courteous and efficient. The comunication through email and telephone was ecxellent from the first till the last moment of my rental. Great car, better than expected, at a great price! Very satisfied!! Excellent service, but above all a reliable car rental company. What they quote you initially is what they charge you when you arrive at the place. There are no hidden charges.

Excellent service both by phone and collection/delivery, good car, fair price, no complications or hidden extras..
Only comment would be that the car did not have bluetooth to connect our music for the long journey we made!
Would definitely use this company again and recommend.

I hired an automatic (Peugeot 301) from ACR for 2 weeks in October 2021. I chose them on the basis of positive reviews, and I would highly recommend them over the larger global car hire suppliers. Communication was excellent from start to finish. The car was delivered and collected from directly outside the main airport terminal and they offered the lowest rate that I could find in the area. Highly recommended.

Superb car hire experience. Met at Athens airport by George, friendly representative with excellent English. Car (Fiat Tipo Estate) was parked in Arrivals and was in good condition. Car ran well with no problems. Punctual arrival by George a week later to collect the car. Really liked the fact that 24 hour breakdown cover was included. Most hire companies only include this if you take out their insurance. We let them block out 700 Euros on a credit card and used Reducemyexcess to cover the 700 Euros. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again / recommend them.

Easy, friendly, good value for money, no nonsense and honest company in my experience - also they helped us with the onward train journey so quality service all round. Well recommended

Great company. The car hire process is super easy, the cars are safe and convenient. We asked to have the car on our last day in Athens, and to return it to the airport. We didn't even have to go all the way back to the rental area as the representative waited for us at the departure terminal on the return day. We will definitely book with ACR again if/when we are back in the area.

We rented during September 2021 and the service levels were excellent. The representative was waiting for us when we arrived at Athens airport and similarly when we were leaving. We drove to Lefkada and the car was good and reliable with no problems despite it not being brand new.
I would certainly recommend ACR for your car rental in Athens.

Athens Car Rental were amazing from quote to drop off at the end of our rental period. The staff were friendly and efficient at all times.

*All meet times were met and the handover at the airport was quick, easy and efficient.

* The car was as described and beautifully clean.

*The return of the car at the airport went smoothly and quickly with no problems whatsoever.

All of this was at a time of a global pandemic and when Greece were in the grip of terrible wild fires.

The service we received was 5 star regardless of the incredibly difficult circumstances.

We would definitely recommend ACR and would now only use this company for car hire in Athens.

I have already rented twice with ACR for my holidays in Greece. The service is really good : they wait for you in the arrivals hall, and it only takes a few minutes to get the paperwork ready. With other car rentals that have a counter in the airport terminal, it takes more than 1 hour !
When returning the car, here as well it all goes smoothly. I needed to change to return time : I called the day before, and no problemo, they were flexible.
Besides, the prices are fair and the conditions are uncomplicated : extra driver, authorization to ferry the car to the islands, etc ... it's already included.

I recommend, and will use their service again.

Best rental experience. Humane price despite general shortage at vacation peak. They delivered the car straight to where I was staying about the same cost of a taxi. Drop off was also super easy with meeting me up directly at the departure airport entrance. How a company should be run. Good service, reasonable prices and always on time and with a smile! Hi we rented a car for 6 weeks and were a bit worried about the prices in Greece until we got a personal offer from ACR, very fast replies and easy to book and prices below the average at the Airport.
Arriving to Greece a friendly young man was waiting with our name on a sign and we did the paperwork etc and he showed us to our car at the parking lot.
A Citroen Elysee black 53000 km, basic but had airco/parking sensor back /cruisecontrol, and very economic and diesel. On return after 6 weeks the same young man was waiting to pick up the car at the departure hall, very easy !! Incredible friendly service from the ' delivery guy ' and the office.

We have rented cars from this company a few times and each time I'm reminded of what an awesome company they are. The cars are always newer and spotlessly clean and their rates are extremely competitive. Their customer service is second to none, and the owners really do care about their customers. No matter what time of year you come to Greece, call these guys, or email them to arrange a stress free car rental experience. Now driving in Greece is another story....

The cars of ACR are modern and in very good condition.Dealing with they during the reservation and payming process was an absolute pleasure.Everthing is donne quickly and efficiently.
They have clear and very good terms of rental and insurance (small advance).There is no mileage limit and, which is hard to find in Greece, you have permits for ferries to the islands.Their  car rental prices are very very good.You can really trust them.I thank You my Dear Friends from the ACR.You are unique and always reliable!

Had a great experience using ACR. Seamless pick up and drop off at the airport, prompt replies to my various questions and changes of plans, good value for money - what’s not to like?! I would definitely recommend them to anyone flying into Athens and look forward to using them again in the future.

I had an excellent experience with ACR renting a vehicle longterm. Quick and kind responses to requests, very patient and easy to rearrange when plans changed (and they did quite a few times).
