Great service and customer service too.
Good value for money, I have been using atlas choice for a while and will continue to do so and recommend it to anyone who wants a hassle free car rental.
Avis was also great and very professional at the airport, their cars are great too.
Well done to both, 5 stars from me.

We booked an economy class car in Larnaca airport but got a car of higher class for the same money. Team was friendly and very helpful. Everything was in time, without any delays and troubles.

Good value, courteous service. Car booked not available at pickup -however eventually given a better car than that booked.
No mechanical or the problems in 3500 Km.
Drop-off was a breeze. Had to await a month to get final Avis invoice by mail.

Our car rental went very well. The counter assistant was very friendly and the car was new and comfortable. Check in was also very easy. No surprises.

Atlas coice came near the top of the internet searches I conducted. You offered a small car from Alicante airport at a very good price. We expected that this price would increase with the petrol charges also the return empty policy. However we have our own insurance protecting our £1000 excess waiver deposit we paid. It is normal when hiring vehicles for them to upsell their own insurance. On this occasion they told me that if the car broke down or the battery went flat or the tyre flat that they would take the whole £1000 deposit. The older of the 2 staff was really rude with a shocking attitude and the younger lady polite but still prepared to mislead us into buying extras. The car we were allocated had 46,000 miles on the clock and 12 scratches/damage noted on the form. On checking the car I found another 6 faults and noted them. The rude male employee who checked this initially would not record them on the form and told me "just buy the extra insurance". This is clearly a threat. He couldn't have been ruder. This was the first day of our holiday and it plays on your mind throughout the holiday, that your £1000 deposit is not safe with the hire company.

I would not book with this company again because they use GOLDCAR as their provider in Malaga and they are an absolute joke. We paid for the premium insurance with atlaschoice only to be told when we got to Malaga that we needed to pay for GOLDCAR insurance as we weren't covered. With 3 hungry and tired children, we waited over an hour while they sorted our insurance out, resulting in me phoning atlaschoice in the UK to confirm our insurance. We then had to pay a 2050 euro deposit on our credit card to be able to take the car. We went to pick the car up which wasn't ready so waited another 40 minutes. We then got told where the car was (a different level of carpark) took our 3 hungry tired children to find no car seats in car which had been paid for!! Had to go back to desk (floor below) with baby in arms to be told I needed to get a trolley to take them to my car. How was I supposed to do this with a baby???? Finally got help to the lift but she couldn't get in the lift with me. Got back to the car to find dents and scratches all over it which weren't marked on the form. Went back to the desk again and got told I had to return to the terminal building to get the form photocopied to acknowledge the damage before we left. Still had 3 tired hungry children and got spoken to like a piece of dirt by the lady on the desk when I pointed this out. 3 and a half hours later, we finally left the airport in our car. On our return, at drop off, they couldn't have cared less about checking our car for damage. We made them check it before we left and got confirmation that it was fine. I would never use GOLDCAR again and think Atlaschoice should seriously re-consider them as a provider!

Efficient service, quick pick up and return of car. Will use again.

All rentals are off airport and you get a shuttle to the compound 5 minutes away. Booked through Atlaschoice as they offered the best price.

I have used this particular company twice and have had no major problems, although I specifically selected (and paid extra for) a Ford Focus but instead received a Ford Fiesta. (To be fair they did ask if this was OK...I panicked and said yes)...

I had a wonderful car hire experience in October through Atlaschoice. We landed in Cork at 9am and were on our way to the Ring of Kerry by 9:20am.

The service provided by Budget was great as well, however Atlaschoice were superb in providing great value for money and information prior to picking the car up that made the whole experience very quick and easy.

I would and have recommend Atlaschoice to anyone looking for great value for money and exemplary service!

Excellent car & service

I have used Atlas Choice on a number of occasions and have always been please with the service. I have had cars from various rental companies (all at Verona airport), and have never had problems except for my latest booking with a company I have never used before - GOLDCAR. From the moment I went to collect the car, it was hard sell, trying to make me buy various insurance policies, petrol cover and then their machines wouldn't accept my card. Contacting my card provider made it clear that GOLDCAR is the problem - eventually I managed to get them to manually input the card details and I got the car (but only after paying an additional fuel deposit, which I was assured I would get back when I returned the car). The car had a number of scratches which had not been on the documentation so before I drove it anywhere I marked them on the documentation and took photos. Going back to the desk, I had to wait 25 minutes while they did the hard sell to another couple - yes, it takes about 30 minutes to get away.

They didn't even bother to check the car, they just marked the same dents I had put on their documentation, but seemed surprised when I mentioned a scratch on the driver door, they thought it was on the passenger door (but hadn't marked it, so no doubt I would have been charged for it when I got back).

When I brought the car back, I finally got someone to check it and they signed the documentation to say all was well, and then said that my fuel deposit would be returned in about 2 weeks. 4 weeks later and still nothing. The car was returned with a full tank - I still have the receipt for the fuel. Looking at other reviews for GOLDCAR, there are so many complaints I would advise nobody to book with them.

Unless I paid extra, if the tyre had a puncture, I would have to pay. If the car broke down, I'd have to pay. If I needed a tow, I'd have to pay (get the idea). Book with Atlas Choice but NEVER with Goldcar - I'd recommend that Atlas Choice drop them from their site.

I recently booked a hire car in Faro through Atlas Choice.
Initially all was good, the car was OK etc until I returned the vehicle. Yorcar staff accused me of causing damage (a scratch to bottom of the sill) which I'm sure was there when I collected the car - in fact I didn't take any notice of such minor defect when I returned the car. They proceeded to charge me 220 euro for the damage which was more than the rental itself.
My options were to sign agreeing to the charge, or have them call the police as I enter the terminal building, so I signed.
When back home I contacted Atlas who said I had admitted the damage was mine as I signed for it.
One big insurance scam and totally unacceptable - I will not use Atlas or Yorcar again, and recommend others to be aware!

From Atlaschoice's side everything was fine, exactly like it was to be. But Gelasakis Car Rental is very poor company with poor cars - i ordered Citroen C3, but I received Suzuki Celerio, class lower car..

No problems at all everything went smoothly.

I was doing the usual hunt around for a car for our family holiday next August and came across the AtlasChoice website offering a 7 seat VW Sharan for £511. Perfect. So I booked it, gave them my card details and duly got an email back to say they were processing it. That is where the problems started. The following day they told me the car was no longer available from their supplier and so offered me an alternative. The first alternative was a small 5 seat car, so no good and the second alternative a Merc van with 9 seats. Fine except for the price tag of £1500 for the same time.
So I went back to the website and they were still advertising the same category of car, just at a much higher price. So back on the phone to them and they wouldn't help at all, not seeing anything wrong in offering a car only for it to mysteriously disappear overnight and try to fob me off with a higher priced alternative.
And the issues didn't stop there, they gave me the company details of their supplier (who apparently had no cars available) and when I went direct they did have them, again at a much higher price.
So be warned when they offer you something that appears too good to be true as in my case it certainly was.
Fobbed off by staff, rude customer service manager, I think I probably had a lucky escape. Good luck if you choose to go with them.
