I can confirm that all the bad reviews are true. I also had placed an order on 19-Jul-2022 and after 9 days I called the company and they have started to give me the usual replies that the order is with the courier and all the other bla bla bla. I now consider this a loss and don't even bother to contact them agaim. I am posting this review to confirm that they are a scam and also to bring their average down as much as possible.

Placed an order on 21/07/2022. To date not received. Have made several phone calls but no follow up, just empty promises to look into the problem. I have no confidence that this company is a good business and I am looking into taking the matter to small claims court for repayment of my outlay.

As per other reviews this company take your money and do not provide the goods then blame the couriers

Currently instructing the lawyers to get my money returned after several phone calls and emails all promising something different

I asked for the tracking info and manufacturing country and you said multiple times you did not know and where waiting for the info but when i checked Trustpilot and found out it was china only then you admitted it. You are very untrustworthy and please take heed of all the bad reviews you say this to all your customers
6 days later after opening a Paypal dispute you still have no tracking info yet want me to wait for delivery then return it

Ordered and paid for a cover for my smart fourtwo over 3 weeks ago still nothing , tried emailing and phoning with no satisfaction from “customer service” . I now have the sinking feeling I’ll been scammed.

I Ordered a cover from fancy website.
As other customers stated I got the same problems already reported to paypal money back guarantee for full refund.
No communication in emails.When on the phone with the office was laid to that package is with the courier then after another week got fedex China tracking number nowhere on the website it says 4weeks waiting time package will arrive from China.
I throuh it was uk based company that made covers in uk or at least got them in stock?
Zero stars if possible avoid total scam…..

Order never arrived. Refusing to refund me - diabolical and china based. ! SCAM SCAM SCAM

Lies, lies lies. You haven't even dispatched it. I have no tracking number and it certainly wasnt dispatched on monday, tuesday, wedneday, thursday or friday when I spoke to you, so you could have pulled back the order then when I explained I was leaving the UK this week. Oh and still no cover or tracking number. I have now put a claim through the credit card as I believe this to be a scam and looking at your other reviews others have found this to be the same. You blame your couriers, but when the courier collects the item you get a tracking number. I dont have this so its not with the courier. You havent met your stated timelines, not even near. I am no longer able to recieve the cover so it will be turned away as I wont be in the UK (just like my cover isnt).

I STAND BY THIS REVIEW. You are a shocking company who scam people out of hard earned cash and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

The quality is outstanding and the ease of us is good too. Took a while to get delivered as made to order and fit was good but could have been a bit sugger on the sides and deeper front and back as lifts in strong winds. But overall with straps and cable it stays on car.

Took slightly longer than expected, but good fit and does the job.

It does the job I bought it for, namely protecting from light frost, airborne dust, tree pollen etc. It's a bit flimsier than the advertising would have you believe and a key point is it's not breathable. This means it sometimes gets condensation on the inside and if the temperature drops, you can get ice between cover and paintwork. A clear indicator to show which end is the front would also help. But generally, OK.

Purchased a cover for my Aston DB9.
Item delivered real quick and with no problems.
Fit on the car is good and product seems sturdy enough. However I must say that it is thinner that anticipated and the impression provided on the web site.
Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Ordered a cover for my 911 2 weeks ago, payment of £159 left my acct 2 days later. Tried to email sales and info at autocovers.co.uk and both bounced back as not accepting emails. Fraud for sure. If anyone has any advice let me know.

This company seems to be a scam their email address bounces and nothing delivered. Have raised a dispute don’t go near this company

Recently bought a auto cover and it fits the mini clubman very neat but the straps and clips seem very flimsy. Had ask for a replacement clip due to one arriving broken . It was replaced without an issue and arrived really quickly in the post . Overall the fit is snug but unsure the quality reflects the high prices

Well, I will point out a few honest points. I bought the cover for my Lexus and the product itself is worth money as it is made from quality materials with attention to detail. It fits perfectly my car so worth waiting...and this is my second point. The company would avoid many of its bad reviews if they manage the customer expectations in terms of delivery time. The website is misleading giving an impression that the cover is on stock and shipment would happen within 5 days. Unfortunately the waiting time was over 6 weeks and I had to regularly send emails asking for updates. The customer service team responded very quickly either to email or phone calls. I gave 4 stars as there is a room for improvements

I have already written a review, where I rated them poor. Autocovers agreed to refund me the full price, once I returned the shoddy cover that has shed white cotton all over my soft top and wheels - and is flimsy and poorly made - but I am still waiting. I bought the cover in March. They’ve confirmed receipt of my returned cover. My bank details were provided twice but still no refund has appeared. I’m still chasing and have been told it is being processed. I wouldn’t purchase from this company again. Update: I have now received the full refund, 3 months after I purchased the cover, but at least it’s arrived in my account

Don't be fooled. The cover is a cheap piece of tat from China that took nearly a month to arrive. I seriously doubt these guys even operate from the UK despite the .co.uk web address. You can get better quality at less than half the price from halfords.
The cover is in no way tailored to the car and the securing straps are of a shockingly poor quality. Save your £200 and buy elsewhere.

Unsure on this one really, I get the feeling I could have got the same for a fraction of the cost. It doesn't fit tailored to the car and a massive downside is there's no wing mirror pockets so everytime I take it off I have to re adjust my manual wing mirrors from outside as its a classic car. Only time will tell if it was worth the money but like others on here poor service, long delivery times and really not the quality we were expecting at £269 for a very small car. If it was under £100 fair enough but can't recommend autoclaves unfortunately.

Extremely poor service. This cover was in excess of £200 and took 5 weeks to arrive. Chased Auto Covers on numerous occasions and was given either the excuse that the item was still in China, or that it was still with the carrier. Offered a 15% compensation payment on two occasions and received nothing! Make your own conclusions!
