To be honest, I had my doubts about whether everything would go smoothly — whether they would ‘pressure’ me into buying their insurance, whether I would actually get my full deposit back. But everything turned out great. I received an LPG car, which significantly reduced my fuel costs, the car was in very good condition, and I even got my deposit back before I had returned the car — maybe it was a mistake, but for me everything was perfect. The guy at the office at Pisa Airport was very polite and friendly. The company’s office is only a 3–4 minute walk from Pisa Airport.

The car was in good shape except for a scent of Prestone sometimes. Overall good experience. One thing should be mentioned for the pick-up in Brindisi airport : the shuttle from the airport is made outside of the other car rental companies pick-up area. It is made in a round-about. Hoping that this helps unnecessary wait at a different area.

I rented a car from Palermo Airport, having the free bus pick-up / drop-off to the not so far away carpark. I chose Automania because of the best customer-experience, price-value and standard-options (open milages, full-casco insurance, repair-service included, free transport) package. Comparing those 3 things, I chose Automania compared to other rental stations.

My experience was very good. I did the online check-in and therefore had like no administrativ timelost getting the car and dropping it off. It was extremly unbureacratic, all digital and efficient.

Thank you very much for your uncomplicated service. I really appreciated it.

For future customers:
- consider your car size. It's Italy; you want to go small
- consider the time of arrival and return for the bus-transport. You have to be prior to 10pm and not any earlier than 8am. So look at your flight-times

The rental station is about 10 minutes from the airport, the shuttle is only driving in demand, hence we had to look for the shuttle and we returned our car it took us about 1 hour :-( Lost time ...
Car was clean and the ordered typ. The car had a lot of minor scratches.

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. However, the pick up time was longer than what was agreed on the phone.

Great experience renting car from automania. Only downside was a bit long waiting time at the pick up at the airport. There was only one lady at the desk and we had to wait for around 20 minutes to finish the check-in.
After that everything was perfect. The car was brought in 5 minutes. It was clean, in excellent condition. Drop off was also without any issues. Highly recommend.

Mixed feelings on our rental.
The good:
Pickup went smooth. Friendly staff
The car was nice and clean
Car had enough power and driving comfort.

The bad:
The driver window kept opening when trying to close. Had to be done in very delicate steps. When returning the car the personnel did not seem to be impressed by it.
The tires were not in the best condition (hardly any profile).
After returning, I was charged with cleaning costs, even though it was explicitely told during pick up that cleaning was not nescessary. The car was not exceptionally dirty, just some average dust and sand after a 2 weeks rental.

Edit after the reply:
As I wrote, the window function was mentioned but ignored.
Also there were 'agreed terms' told by the desk clerk during pick up: "no need to clean".
Besides no definitions are written on the contract (other then an amount)

Good Service, even though at the second day of rental the car needed to be changed because of a mistake by the rent-office.
Anyhow, it didn’t went out so uncomfortable for us because the car was changed in the city we stayed at that time.
Kind and very polite people at the rent-office.
Think, next time we’ll choose Automania again
(Even though the time in the beginning at Bari Aeroporto we had to wait for the shuttle picking us up for bringing us to the Automania-rental-office near to train station Bari-Europa was quite long - standing outside the car-rental-area at Bari-Aeroporto while it’s raining quite heavily…it’s forgotten by the nice Puglia-experiences).

Renting a car from Avtomanija was a very positive experience. From booking to affordability. The transfer from the airport to their office was fast. Also the pick-up of the car. The car was almost brand new. So it served me very well for all 10 days.
