A lovely company to hire from. This is a family run business and very easy to deal with. Met at the airport, quick paperwork and easy return at the end of the rental. I would certainly recommend and use again.

This is the third time that we have used this company. The cars are of a very good quality and there is a wide range to choose from. Dimitris was very helpful and always replied to emails without delay. I totally recommend this company and commend them for their willingness to help.

Dimitris and his team were brilliant! My booking was quickly confirmed by email saying they would meet us at the airport. True to their word, they met us with a smile, the car was in great condition, and there were no hidden costs, insurance was great with all damage waivers covered. Great value and would definitely use again. Can’t recommend them enough. On drop off they insisted on giving me a lift back to departures even though it was only a couple of minutes walk. Very prompt confirmation when booking made. Didn't want to collect the car in Heraklion airport but in the city and wanted to drop it off in Chania city - other companies were not very obliging but this company offered to bring the car to me at my accommodation and again collect it from where I was staying in Chania. The very charming George was where he said, when he said. Would highly recommend this company, not only for the service they provided but also for quoting a realistic price that included everything and didn't attempt to add any extras.

We hired a small car for the day whilst on holiday in Gouves recently. We paid the deposit several weeks before and George turned up early on the day at the hotel with the car and paperwork to complete. It was all very efficient and we were off and driving within 20mins.

The car itself was almost new and in excellent condition. We drove to the other side of the island and it never missed a beat once, despite some high mountain passes and intense heat.

Overall I would highly recommend the team at AutoRentals-Crete for a faultless process and taking all of the stress out of renting a car abroad. Don't even consider any other company when in Crete, use these guys you won't regret it.

Dimitris, Manos, Nick and the team are exceptional… honest nice and polite guys. We had one of the best car rental experiences and without a doubt will recommend to others too. New and clean cars with competitive price. Not easy to find a car of your choice during the holiday period / last min so worth booking in advance.

Great experience, our flight was canceled twice in one month, but we were also able to reschedule our car rental dates. They did it without any problem, without additional costs... a friendly girl with our name was waiting for us at the exit of the airport, she walked us to the office and in 10 minutes we already got the car, exactly as we reserved. The car was in very good condition, low consumption, and everything worked well. The return of the car was also very smooth and fast. highly recommend!

First class service from Dimitris. Rented in June 2022 all inclusive price. Best firm I have used. Prices are going up generally this year but no extras when you collect and no hassle.

AutoRentals Crete made our holiday in Crete much simpler and enjoyable. I already used their service in 2021 and I opted for them once again in 2022. Stellar service from start to finish. We were picked up at the airport and the person (forgot his name) made us feel welcome and explained everything in detail. The car was in outstanding condition and very clean. I will surely book again from this company if I visit Crete.

Dimitris and their team are just simply the best. They went over and beyond to help us and to deliver the car.

Manos is a great guy with a great sense of humour. He will make you laugh at the same time he is explaining everything with any single detail in regards to the booking and the car renting.

I can’t fault this firm at all. Normally i dread renting cars on holiday, as there’s always so many hidden charges, or problems when you collect or return the car. In my experience autorentals don’t mess you about. They brought the car to me (and picked it up from me), all insurance etc was built in, and they’re the friendliest car rental folk I’ve come across. Manos was an absolute star - so friendly and helpful.

In Crete you can find lots of very cheap car rentals. But for peace of mind and also a really pleasant experience, I would thoroughly recommend this company. I’ll be using them again.

What a Wonderful experience renting a car from Dmitris and his team. Great communications, newer reliable car and I got the exact car (Seat Ibiza) that I reserved, which is unheard off in rental industry. Car is fairly new, very clean, no smell, everything works. Now let's talk about my GREAT experience with Dmitris and his team. I arrived at Chania airport and greeted with sign by one of this team member, who walked me to the parking lot to get the car (8 min walk to the left of the terminal) and I was driving out with it within 5 minutes time. The car was great throughout our 8-days there.
I returned the car at Heraklion airport, where Dmitris emailed me the details as to where to park the car and to drop off the key in a locked booth (since they don't always have people there). The instruction was to lock the car and drop off the key in a small hole that drops the key inside the locked booth. Well, I got to the airport, dropped off my wife at the terminal, I go the parking lot (8minutes walk to the terminal) I got out of the car, locked the car and dropped off the key inside that small hole. Problem is, I left my mobile phone inside the car still (UGH, I was so dumb, that was going to ruin the rest of our vacation) and there's no one there, plus we are only 80 minutes from our flight and we have not even checked in yet. I called Dmitris and he picked up right away and told me that his son can meet me there in about 30minutes. So I walked back to the terminal to check in, found a really long line and I knew I won't be able to get to the check-in desk for at least 40minutes, so I will miss Dmitris son at the parking lot. So I called Dmitris again, who told me that he'll ask his son to call me and to arrange something with him. So a few minutes later, his son George called me. He said he will get my mobile phone and he agreed to meet me right outside the terminal to give the phone to me. Well, 50minutes later, right after I finished checking in, George called, said he's waiting for me outside the terminal. And sure enough, he was there with a big smile and gave me my mobile phone. Another reason why we LOVE the Greeks, especially Cretan people.
George and Dmitris saved our vacation and made our Crete experience even more positive and made us want to come back even more.

We rented a car from Heraklion a couple of weeks ago. Very friendly service. This is a small family run business and the son met us in the arrivals hall and walked us to the compound which is literally just behind all the corporate hire companies. There was no quibble about scratches on the car, he just said take as many pictures as we liked. There was no one at the compound when we returned the car so you just post the keys through the door of the office. Again, no quibbles after we had arrived back home. Would highly recommend this company. I researched many others that appeared to be cheap but had horrendous reviews, mainly around charging for scratches on the car that were probably already there.

Outstandingly excellent service from start to finish.

CDW is included so no nasty last-minute attempts to upsell, and my wife was included as an additional driver at no extra charge.

Even the car I got was brand-new with just 12km on the clock.

It was a genuine pleasure to deal with this local (Cretan) family-run company.

We rented a car with this firm in August of this year. It was the best car hire experience we've ever had. Airport handover was smooth and friendly, the insurance cover was perfect and we were not asked for money for any hidden extras. I even damaged the wing mirror on our car but Dimitris was 100% professional and we had no associated problems at all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very good smooth process.First car hire ever.it went hassle free.Was very anxious hiring a car due to all the bad things u hear aka being forced to pay damage u didn't do etc.Really recommended and the car we got was decent, was worried the smallest car wouldn't be able to handle the tricky terrain of Crete but did so with ease.Unlimited mileage too so we travelled a fair bit and only spent £50 euros in petrol.recommend hiring a car in Crete as you need it if you really want to explore different parts.
