I tried to sell my car on Autoscout24.de and I contacted few times Customers Department by email and they never answered to my emails. If someone has a problem with his AD you must answer and help or remove you customers contact form.

they never reply to emails. If your car is not listed for various reasons, they never answer if you ask them for details or to help you with the problem you have. Why do you have "e-mail contact" if you do not answer.

After the car is listed and appears online ... after a few minutes they delete it for no reason. I don't know what kind of filters they use but it's quite annoying. At least answer the e-mail if you still don't have a system in place.

Probably he is the best car dealer I have ever met. Honest and sincere, cooperative and willing to help in any matter. He sent me a great vehicle, just like he advertised on the web, with no hidden defects or faults. He gave me a brave discount on the price and he kept what we agreed on in full.
Because I have a lot of experience from car dealers, this particular dealer, I put him at the top of my list. For anyone who wants to buy a reliable car and find the seller available in every issue of the process but also with honesty and sincerity, I strongly recommend you to buy your next car from Mr. Ben.

Allows cars to be advertised at a certain price, let’s say €16800
However when viewing the car in the small print the real price is €18800
A €2k mark up.
The advertised price is only available with finance which bumps the price up to €21888 so the advertised price is a lie as it’s impossible to pay that amount.

Scam Transport agency suppose to deliver car advertised it was North Spain when we ask to view is was then in Majorca It was readvertised again mid Spain now it's advertised right south west

Scammed on autoscout. Buying ford focus rs. owner norwegian phone number. Car supposedly at dealer in germany. All papers correct. Car to be transported to spain. Everything appeared correct. Car never turned up.Address of transport company in germany and uk none existent. Beware. German and uk police of no help. Norwegian police did not answer phone in home town where owner supposedly lived. Apply extreme caution

Great website for finding your dream car. The interface is very cool and easy to use!

Scam! Looked at 2 motorcycles. One was too cheap compared to the other motorcycles so I knew it was fraud and reported it. The other motorcycle is correct priced. Seller has a Danish name and email but do not speak danish and writes back in English + he don`t answer when I ask for the license plate, registration papers or have more pictures of the bike. Luckily I checked the website here on Trustpilot. Website is high risk so do not pay any deposit/money up front or you will loose your money. I build websites for a living and I know Autoscout could easily have fixed the problem by having an improved vetting process like Ebay and Amazon. I guess they are not interested in being serious since the they could have fixed this a long time ago. Whatever else they say & comment here is just a bad excuse in stead of fixing the problem.

Inexperience if my main error .
I have seen a van online via your web site got excited paid the deposite paid again and now asking for duty charges within the eu.
I can onlythrow away only so much money , have passed it onto the police in both Spain and France to maybe resolve maybe I will see a car or some money back but not so sure .
I would hope that the vetting process be much stronger with clients listing their vehicles , have not seen a way to address my current problem via autoscout24 and no way of finding the true lister of the item the police would love to know. As a company SCOUT24 is making it easy for fraudulent adverts I would hope that they give me a redress to getting the item that I wanted or my money back.

not all cars with 4 wheels are sedans. do you know that? or why did you put the option to select only sedans, because anyway I see 90% called convertible and hatchback

The application is useful interms of connecting interested parties. However, it is not easy to delete the account and your personal data once you do not need it any longer. Autoscout24 continues to send me e-mails even though I ask them for support to delete my account and personal data. Autoscout24 never replied to my request. Another anoying element is that some people use the application for purposes which are different from buying or selling a car. My wife is trying to sell a car and received a mail from an unkown person who asked for support to bring money from Middle East to Europe.

Lots of scam on this website! This company makes no effort in trying to stop! There’s no buyer protection! Stay away or you will lose money!

A Tesla was advertised...at an unusually low price... in Germany on Autoscout24. during my email communications it became clear that this was a scam... the seller invited payment through Uship.com and a false money back guarantee ... They were unable to provide details of their Tesla account, which the genuine owner would have access to. Beware, it is clear that auto scout 24 makes no attempt to verify legitimacy of advertisements.

I was able to buy from Hiwa traiding at autoscout 24 but these guys they have a bad service, communication it is poor and they send a car without some of components that I saw when I was buying and they argument is that they're very busy.
So my problem with the autoscout is not that, but to not be able to rate the experience I had and let others know because the seller disabled reviews and autoscout allowed that.
Maybe someone had the same experience before me or will have it after me and such a thing need to be shared

Buy 2 motorcycle, the owner said he ll send pict before send and asking deposit 50%, motorcycle listed in IT but the owner said he in Spain, send the deposit and everything is gone...all account using Company name with BBVA account. Totaly 99% fraud

I chose a car, they connected me with the seller. The seller turned out to be a fraud - he was selling someone else's car - a fraudulent sale. In the end, I paid for it and lost. BUYERS BE CAREFUL VERY CAREFUL, THERE IS NO WARRANTY WHO SELLS WHAT ON THE SITE.

autoscout24 is Unprofessional and Irresponsible.

I posted an ad for a high end classic car with detailed info and photos.
Most of the received emails were from scammers and tire kickers.

After the ad was on the site for about 2 months, Autoscout24 removed the ad without bothering to contact me, claiming in an automated email that my ad was fraudulent. This is after the ad had already been verified and approved by their team several times - absurd.

They demanded that I send them the car's registration document.
It's ridiculous to have to provide sensitive documents to these clowns, but I sent it anyway. I didn't receive any response.

Whether this is plain incompetence or a deliberate attempt to shake people down for a premium ad, autoscout24 has been unprofessional and irresponsible.

Look elsewhere. These clowns don't deserve your time.

This company sells cars on this site without specifying the exact condition of the cars. I made Saturday 26.10.2019 a trip from London to their address in Belgium to buy a car, it was found that the pictures displayed do not show any scratches. in reality the car was garbage full of scratches and bruises and not even the keys of the car were okay ... I was deeply disappointed to discover that the car that looks flawless in the photos was actually garbage.
  A well-respected garage remedies any mechanical or aesthetic defect before making a buyer travel more than 1000 km.
