Back in November I tried to purchae a car with a private dealer. Turned out to be a scam. Have been contacted numerous times from other people as the scammer started using my id. I have advised everbody to contct autoscout to complain. Just today somebody contacted me wondering where their car is. Guess its another victim. Have advised them to contact autoscout. Wouldnt trust this site in the future.

Don't bother to advertise your car here if you are an individual. Guess it works for car dealers... but as an individual its a complete waste of time.
The only "interest" I received was from scammers. All agreeing to pay the offered price of the car without seeing it... and trying to get the car and my details. Another was telling me had $7.1 million in cash he wanted to send to me.
I sent many emails to AutoScout but they did nothing except send an FAQ email which only gave advice to buyers, and nothing about the emails I was getting about a slr...
I pulled the advert and asked for a refund, but AutoScout refused to give one.
Don't waste your tie and money like I did!

Sold my car the next day for free!
Excellent site, sold my car the next day I listed it on autoscout24, for free!! A basic listing is free. You only have to pay if you want to jazz up your listing. You won't get that from those money grabbers autotrader!
