Had my windscreen replaced at auto windscreens Chelmsford due to needing calibration etc. The guys have done an excellent job, screen is in with no mess or damage, all the cameras etc are working.

The customer service was very good and helpful came to my work place a few problems but was sort out quickly overall very satisfied with the service I had

The men arrived on time, letting us know they were on their way. Less than an hour and our brand new windscreen was installed and the old was taken away. Great guys and great service. 5 *

Timing: Was ok but had to wait 4 hours on the first visit, some issue with the calibration. Meant I had to return for a 2nd time which was inconvenient
Staff: Technician did a good job on assembly, adjusting the wiper position and correcting seals.

I had my windscreen replaced and associated camera and sensors recalibrated at the Lewes branch. All the work was carried out to a very high standard and completely on time. Communication was great from initial booking to final invoice. Richard was really friendly and helpful and made the whole experience positive.

Shocking service.
Apart from the actual fitting of the windscreen the whole experience was dreadful.
Had to wait 8 weeks with a crack getting bigger and bigger each day for an appointment, then this was changed without my knowledge and cancelled.
The fitting was the only part that went smoothly.
If I did not have to use Auto Windscreens through my insurance, I would have easily gone elsewhere.

Rather going through my insurance I sought a price from Auto Windscreens assuming that the cost would be minimal as this was a body glass to be replaced. My excess was quite high so did not bother with the insurance company, However how wrong was I, more or less double my excess so said I will have to go through my insurers. I gave Auto Windscreen my Insurance company and they done the rest saving me calls and hassle. Within the week I had the body glass fitted and how clean and professional the installer was. All done in half an hour. Very pleased all round 10/10

Having experienced a cracked windscreen on the M25 and with my car in for part-exchange on 1 August I was desperate to have the screen replaced but none of the large windscreen companies could do this before the first week in August. Autowindscreens were preferred by my Insurer and so I made contact with them with the same result. however within a short time a cancellation became available and the Customer Service chap remembered me and phoned me to offer the cancellation on the Thursday prior to my trade-in. Excellent Customer Service and to be recommended.
Fitting was arranged, completed successfully and on time, perfect service throughout. Thank You
