Poor company to deal with

Poor customer service. No despatch email or any news about order placed 4 days ago. Tried to do live chat but it's unavailable. Nothing either from their courier (and I have checked spam/junk ). Unless you have signed up to an account it's very difficult to get any information about your order. Hopefully the goods will eventually get here otherwise its £80 lost.

Never again so disappointed

They raised surprises in the product. I have used for years and years. They're making you buy it in a tiny little bottle of five ounces which I use in one Application. I'm so disappointed that they are not selling larger sizes. It is ridiculous and I've seen so many reviews that people are never gonna order to give. And I'm joining that I'm never, ever ordering it again. I'm so mad. I'm going to have to find another product. And i'm going to start doing my research Tonight and i'm finished with you

Ordered 3 products from them over a…

Ordered 3 products from them over a month ago. AvedA sent product to my old address. Called 4 times customer service assured me they would send my order to me. REMEMBER they got their money in December 2023. It’s almost February 2024. No product and no refund AND no service. Got transcripts my first call but the other 3 reps ever sent me the transcripts. Called today asked for manager was told someone would call me within an hour. It’s been 3 hrs still no phone call. I’m going to report them to every place I can. They stole my money and there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The worst customer service on the planet

I have been using Aveda products for over 25 years. I have seen the quality of service going down since the first change of hands when it was bought by Estée Lauder.
Things have been going downhill with their customer services rapidly. I am a few points below Tier 7 of Aveda Pure Privilege and recently I have reacted to the Shampure Shampoo (1 L size), either a change of formula or my scalp has changed. Either, but the way I was treated, by a pre Madonna, when I raised the issue was horrible. They don't read emails and they miss replying then suddenly the customer is accused of being a con. whereas they are an absolute disaster. They cut costs by hiring junior people which change at almost the rate we change our socks, they don't train them and then they put them at the face front. Horrible service. Anyhow, their loss.
*NB: folks, do to be fooled by the reply asking to contact them for a resolution. They are a waste of space and an insult to all credible businesses. My advice, avoid. Plus their products are full of chemicals, not as advertised. An absolute con artistry. Avoid, avoid and this is not an individual case at all, read the other reviews to confirm how bad Aveda are.

I still haven't received my phone

Good day

Trust that this finds you well

I would like to express my frustration with regards to your poor service .

The phone was supposed to be delivered on the 6th of December and yet we are on the 14th of December and yet still nothing

The tracking number you provided is none existing and I am unable to track it.

We are traveling outside of the country next week ane we still don't have the phone we purchased.

This is huge inconvenience my business is on hold due to not having a phone. My business is suffering a loss without a phone

Kindly advise when the phone will be delivered and should not be later than next week Wednesday as we are tavelleng out of the country.

I ask that you if your unable to deliver the phone you refund us the market value of the phone so that we can buy at our local store to travel with the phone next week. You can also buy it locally.

Your urgent response and cooperation will be highly appreciated.

They send orders with cheap curiers, I placed 2 orders on black Friday, both lost!
They had advertised 25% sitewide and one 200 ml bottle shampoo free if you purchased over higher amounts.
And additionally 15%procent off for new costumers wich I additionally get and appplied on my order on their website!
When I called them, they said this is not possible must be website mistakes, they can't resend my orders because everything is out of stock and only one discount can be used verbally, but technically it worked on the Website
Also free bottle of shampoo can't be offered anymore....Subject to availability....
They either can't locate my orders as the courier marked them lost in transit!
They left me just with a refund after 2 weeks of waiting.
Waist of time because they didn't offer a discount code for next purchase or anything 😒....just refund and apologies
They are not honouring they're offers on their own website!Terrible!
Costumer service is badly trained, bunch of time waitsters and unknowledgeable

Worst custom service- package NOT…

Worst custom service- package NOT delivered and Aveda does NOTHING
This 2023 black friday sale I ordered a bunch of things worth almost $200 on the Aveda website to try, I was very excited. But my package didn't get delivered with UPS though on the tracking it says it did. I contacted Aveda custom service and they asked me to contact the carrier myself, and they can not re-fund or re-ship my order, this is the worst custom service I've ever had. I'm not a scammer lying, all the other packages I bought were fine. The carrier says contact the sender which is aveda... what a joke.. Will never buy again and advise everyone to do so.

Not honouring their terms and conditions of sale

I was shopping on their UK website for Black Friday and there was an offer for a free gift (hair brush) after you purchase a certain amount. The offer was meant to last until end of 26/11 but for some reason when I tried to place the order in the afternoon, the offer expired and switched to something else, even though the free gift was showing as in-stock on their website. Tried calling them but was told the item is now out of stock and there's nothing they can do.

Horrible experience online

Horrible experience online! I regret placing my order. The website is nonfunctional. I changed my billing address upon checkout to match my card details, and it automatically changed my shipping address. I called customer service and they are not able to do anything (claiming I have to wait for a tracking number). The customer service team were unprofessional and unhelpful to say the least. Contacting my bank for a full refund.

Placed an order which I received but…

Placed an order which I received but two mini samples were missing so I emailed them and they said my order number was invalid (it was the one they gave me) they also said I haven’t placed an order using my name and email (I had as I’ve received the order) I then sent a screenshot of my order email which they conveniently couldn’t see. They just kept repeating for me to send a different name and email…I DON’T HAVE ONE. I got nowhere with them and gave up

Its more like what didn't go wrong

Its more like what didn't go wrong. Trying to redeem point to make a purchase but the codes they provide are too long and can't not be used. Unqualified rep Raven was useless and their entire website. What's the point of accumulating points if you can't use them. Aveda customer service is at its worst, they're a bunch of i d i o t s!!! Disappointing after 30+ years of using

I have used Aveda Shampure Shampoo and Conditioner for over 30 years. I have always bought online from various outlets the 1000ml bottles have recommended to many people. However without any mention the formula has change leaving me with lank lack lustre hair, very disappointing as the last bottles I purchased from Aveda website itself. If I had know I would only have purchased the regular size. I have used it for the last couple of months it give it the benefit of doubt but still not good. Will not be using this again shame because it has been wonderful for my hair for the last 30+ years. Have now source a superior shampoo

I have mostly had nothing but positive experiences…

I have mostly had nothing but positive experiences with Aveda. Their shipping times are aways superb, and my products always arrive much quicker than the estimated delivery dates.

There have, however, been times when I’ve purchased products and redeemed reward points for additional items, but when the products were shipped to me, I never got the additional items I had redeemed prior to checkout.

The website could also definitely use a little updating since there are some issues with the online experience that could be worked out. For example, although the local salon I regularly visit is listed as carrying their products, it says that pickup is not available for the location I have entered when I am trying to select pickup as my preferred delivery option. I have a hair appointment soon and was wanting to pick my products up at the time of my service.

While none of this has inhibited me from continuing to make purchases on their website, I do hope that someday these issues will be improved to make the customer experience easier and more worthwhile. Their products are always worth the buy, but the quality of the service could be better.

Gift certificate not usable for services

I purchased a gift certificate on the website. I thought it was for a salon services at a specific location. Just learned from the recipient that she was unable to use it for any salon services within a hundred miles of the salon at which I THOUGHT I WAS PURCHASING SERVICES. The card was only really usable to purchase product. It was very misleading.

One star is too much …

One star is too much to give to this company. Placed a big order and paid for next day delivery and after 5 days from the order placed still no delivery. Contacted the customer service phone and whatup as no email address to contact directly and absolutely a disgrace. Even saying that they cannot contact the currier to check what happens as they have no contact directly Is it is the customers that need to chase ?? What a joke Never ever again will use Aveda

Aveda institute in Brandon is…

Aveda institute in Brandon is absolutely awful. I paid about 200 dollars for a school to do my hair. They didn’t do what I wanted and I was unsatisfied with the results. I sat for 7 hours and still wasn’t finished. They didn’t give me my money back and made me pay the full price. Don’t ever go there. They suck. Awful service.
