After 9 months we finally received the compensation for the delayed flights we were legally entitled to from KLM with Aviation ADR intervention. Without them I would probably be still waiting and havi... See more

I flew with Ryan Air, and the way I was treated on my way back to London from murcia Spain was so horrible that all they wanted was just to rip me off and I was threatened if I don’t pay the money I will not be allowed to fly back to London. I thought that was ridiculous. I couldn’t believe it because my hand luggage that they said it was over the normal size wasn’t. It fitted into the template box that they have and they said there was a tiny thing that came out. Which to me, it didn’t make any sense. So I decided to pictures to show that nothing came out and they made me pay the money becuses they will have to check my bag in, but when I came to the door, no one was there to collect my bag and I had to enter the flight with my luggage and it fitted into the top storage. So the equation was why was I charged. I paid the money but I told them that I will fight to get my money back but in saying that I thought it would not be possible, but ADR made it possible. I contacted them and they took up the case and they kept me updated on every step that they took until my money was paid. I will advise everyone to contact them when you encounter similar issue. Just have your evidence. Take pictures because that helps.
I’m extremely disappointed with the conduct of AviationADR. Acting as a platform meant to support travellers, they have instead created unnecessary frustration by changing their rules midway through the claims process.
For example, they recently introduced a requirement for representatives—who are not lawyers, such as travel agents, tour operators, friends, or other non-legal representatives—to upload copies of passports and bank statements. Many passengers specifically choose these types of representatives because they are more accessible, cost-effective, and already familiar with their bookings. Unlike lawyers, they offer a simpler, more personal service without adding legal complexity or high fees.
Rather than notifying claimants with ongoing cases about these new requirements, AviationADR simply closed those cases once they reached review—effectively forcing people to pursue costly legal action instead.
It has since become even worse. New claims submitted with all the required documents have also been closed after months of waiting due to further regulatory changes. This lack of consistency and communication is unacceptable.
Such practices are unfair not only to passengers but also to airlines, as both parties are now burdened with avoidable litigation and court costs. Overall, this reflects very poorly on a service that is supposed to provide fair and efficient dispute resolution.
This company was helpful, kept in touch and achieved a desirable outcome.
I contacted this service after Ryan Air dismissed our compensation claim for a delayed flight to Milan at the end of November. Ryan Air cited ‘ground handling’ issues despite the technical fault on the plane and having to change planes before eventually reaching our destination.
I contacted the flight ombudsman after Ryan Air refused to discuss compensation.
I had to submit paperwork from my party (5) to say they were happy for me to represent them. This required the use of a printer as they had to sign the paperwork. The rest I was able to complete just using my phone.
The website is fairly straightforward and takes you through the steps required for submission. I submitted lots of screen shots for consideration.
The claim was accepted and I was alerted by email if there had been any changes. I was however, unaware of the messaging system until after the claim had been awarded and then I spent more time investigating the system and discovered a whole host of unanswered messages. The poor claims handler had been messaging and I hadn’t read a single one. Thankfully this did not hinder our award and we received the standard compensation for the delay that we requested. Money was transferred by the end of March. The time scales were clearly stated throughout the process so we were able to manage expectations fairly effectively.
I was really happy with the service but hopefully I will not need to use it again.
Had to use the service after Ryanair refused to refund me, so glad I did. Easy to upload documents and all sorted efficiently.
They are a good intermediary, the service does not absolve you from doing a great deal of the 'spadework' but it does add weight to your research in such a way that cannot be ignored by the airline and although it was a lengthy process, I was always kept informed of the progress of my claim. They also adjudicate on disputed points in a fair and reasonable way.
They got me my loot. Took over 2 years but now I’m a grand richer. Well worth the wait. Thanks very much 👍
AviationADR were brilliant. They were efficient, replied instantly, kept us fully informed and most importantly, achieved a favourable outcome for us, after we had tried for 10 months to get a result from Ryanair. Thank you so much AviationADR.
Excellent service. When the airline refused to accept my approach, ADR stepped in and held them accountable for their mistakes.
The process was long and slow, but ADR ultimately upheld my claim and recovered the compensation that the airline owed me.
Very helpful. My only issue was opening on a phone I accidently missed a message. Due to the message box not showing on the screen unless it was rotated to Landscape. Luckily it did not interfere with the outcome which was fantastic news.
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by AviationADR (CDRL). In a clear-cut compensation claim against easyJet (Flight EZY5708), the adjudicator made a decision that completely contradicts the physical facts of the case.
Despite providing timestamped photos of myself on the aircraft stairs at 12:37 PM (a delay of 3h 27min), the adjudicator chose to believe the airline's unproven claim of an 11:32 arrival. Incredibly, the written decision admits the airline provided no logs or evidence, yet the adjudicator proceeded to "estimate" an arrival time that conveniently falls just under the 3-hour threshold.
This raises serious questions about the independence of an organization funded by the very industry it is supposed to regulate. I have filed a formal Correction Request with the Chief Adjudicator and am fully prepared to take this matter to the Small Claims Court to ensure this blatant error is rectified.I am extremely disappointed with AviationADR (CDRL). Even worse: I was never notified of this decision. AviationADR demands various documents and evidence from the consumer, but they didn't even bother to send a final email when the case was closed. I only found out by chance when I manually checked the portal just before the 7-day appeal deadline expired. This lack of communication is unacceptable and feels like a deliberate tactic to prevent consumers from appealing.
This organization is funded by the industry it supposedly regulates, and it shows. I have filed a formal Correction Request and am fully prepared to take this to the Small Claims Court.
First time I have used a complaint service as I don’t normally have any problems but on this one occasion I did.
Once you get used to the site it is very straight forward but always scroll down to the bottom of the page or you will miss something like I did.
ADR sorted my claim very efficiently and very effectively and would have no hesitation in using the service again.
I thought I had lost my money until I used this service and they actually through adjudication and fairness got my money return.
If you feel your back is against the wall in trying to recover money from airlines then this is a must for you.
I would be more than happy to recommend ADR services.
They successfully got me the full compensation that l was owed. They are prompt and efficient in replying to any questions. The only negative is l personal did find the website differcult to navigate.
What can I say…. After EasyJet lied through their teeth coming out with ridiculous excuses for the delay not being ther fault ADR got involved and saw through their crap and got me and my family the compensation with a professional and diligent service. Thank you ADR
They reviewed my request in detail and helped me. Thank you.
After going through the delay claim process with KLM with no success I turned to Aviation ADR for help
The website and simplified application was easy to use and follow
All actions they undertook were timely and well communicated
They helped me resolve my dispute with KLM with little stress on my part and within a couple of months my monies arrived from KLM
Happy to recommend
After spending coountless time sending emails and making calls to an airline regarding lost luggage and delayed flights which I could not believe they rejected given the amount of evidence I had; I decided to contact ADR for support and help and they did not disappoint! Received payment into my bank account today for full claim and I am 100% certain this would not have been possible without their support. Fantastic service with clear updates via their web portal.
