Rude, unhelpful, not interested & Expensive - shop around
Our renewal came up and was a lot more expensive than before. Looked for alternative home insurance and found one that was £153 cheaper! Went back to Aviva to let them know we will not be renewing. Very rude and unhelpful lady on the chat told me our policy was not set to auto renew and I didn’t have to let her know. I explained their website informs you to do that. Still very uninterested I was told again that we did not opt for auto renewal. Wow, I am grateful I newer had to claim if that is the customer service you get. Shocked to say the least. Not even trying to help or offer a cheaper quote.

The claims team is not performing…
The claims team is not performing competently. I called four times to try to speak with a human, but I kept getting directed online by an automated voice. Eventually, I managed to reach a person who said it was not their department and offered to transfer me. However, when they pressed the button, I was informed that this number is no longer in use, and then the call ended. This experience has been absolutely frustrating. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
I have had car insurance for over 40 years and have never made a claim. I could have purchased two brand new BMWs with the amount of insurance I've paid, and this is the service I receive when I actually need assistance. It’s truly disgusting.

Well I have to give one star cause not…
Well I have to give one star cause not able to give zero. This company is the worst insurance company I have ever been with. By car was wrote off while it was parked up and I was in bed. I deliberately took out a courtesy car option because of my ongoing medical conditions and problems. I explained this and because the other driver wasn’t insured they won’t supply me with one. I’m not interested in the third party I pay extra for the courtesy car option. I gave them all the third party information but it seems I would have to sort the claim myself. Shame on you aviva for leaving vulnerabile customers in trouble I will certainly never take out any type of insurance with you again. My policy was called gold that’s a joke in its self. One very angry customer.

Customer service is terrible, just a useless chatbot that doesn't let you speak to a real human. Doesn't understand any questions. Just trying to understand why the website won't give me a quote as it doesn't explain why.
