I had car insurance with Aviva when I…

I had car insurance with Aviva when I my car was crashed into by another person while it was parked. Everything with Aviva was dealt with promptly and professionaly and if it wasn't for the next bit they'd get 5 stars.

I paid for legal cover, meaning I could claim my excess back which was taken off the value of my car that was paid to me. They passed me onto Carpenters Group, the lawyers they use to claim your excess back off the 3rd party. 2 years later im still waiting and getting nowhere with carpenters group. They've just fobbed me off all the way through. It may only be £250 but that is irrelevant. Why did i pay for legal cover if it does not do its job!? Stop using carpenters group because they are letting you down and I wouldn't return to you as a customer because of how inept they are.

It’s a terrible company

It’s a terrible company. The customer service so bad take ages to respond. All of sudden they hang up the call while they transfering to someone , insurance clam it’s so bad and lengthy. I try to get a new insurance quote have to Wait in the line for an hours to get in tauch . I have been with them for a while . I did not bother them until today but some of them don’t even know what they are doing

I called today and spoke to an agent…

I called today and spoke to an agent who I felt like I was inconveniencing with my call to say I found a cheaper quote by £150 and they said they couldn’t price match so I said we would like to cancel our renewal! I was informed my husband the policy holder would have to do this. He called and what should have been a straightforward call turned into a stressed out situation where he was told he would have to pay £50 to cancel for admin fees! He wasn’t getting the fact that my husband didn’t want to cancel the policy he wanted to cancel the renewal. Absolute madness that he was not competent to handle a straightforward call?
Also to add that this company is very expensive so I would advise people to try compare sites as they are a rip off in my opinion.

Took me 2 days a couple of phone calls…

Took me 2 days a couple of phone calls and two day on laptop to complete this process, awful. They continually added things I didn't want, then I'd have to start over.
