I’ve been with AXA for many years, and overall I’ve been very happy with their service. However, I do have one concern. I believe loyal, long-term customers should be treated much better. Instead of i... See more

I had to make some changes to my policy and it was all sorted within a few hours after changing them in the app

Got public liability insurance for my new business a few months ago. Subsequently tried to update the registered address.
You'd expect that they either update their records directly from Company House like the banks do or at least make it easy for me to update directly on the website. Nope.
I raised a ticket on the site. I received an email saying this was a business query so the right team would be notified. Then crickets. I sent a follow up mail a week later. More crickets.
Then I googled their email addresses and sent yet another follow up email only to be told this was for the Home Insurance team and would be forwarded to the elusive Business Team.
The Business Team finally replied and said they didn't have enough information to act on my request. I suppressed the urge to tell them to read the mail trail and typed all the information they asked for and more.
That was 3 days ago. I received another email today, asking for the address I wanted to change to. Information which was in the last email I sent them. I've sent it to them.
It's taking 3 weeks (and counting) to update an address. I'm afraid for how long it will take to make an actual claim.
That's why I only fill feedback forms based on my experience with the service, not on the account opening process.
Edit: So I finally got the address updated without any further delays. However, I'm more impressed with how they handled my reviews/complaints on trustpilot and feefo.
They took ownership and agreed that they could have done better, which is more than I can say for most other services I've interacted with recently.
Still not [yet] a 5-star from me but it's good to know they listen to feedback.

Submitted an uncontested third party claim against someone insured by AXA who hit my parked car.
Had to phone 7 times and send multiple emails to get reimbursed, having followed AXA advice to pay for repairs and submit invoice. Followed AXA instructions to the letter but was given incorrect email addresses to submit invoice 3 times. I was dropped from calls when being passed between departments several times too.
As a result, I incurred additional fees from my credit card provider. AXA not responding to my requests for reimbursement. They have demonstrated appalling service and a reticence to pay out.

after a number of years insuring my home and contents this year there renewal offer increased by over 35%. I emailed asking why such an increase and got a copy and paste answer which was no help at all. Then I was asked to call another number which was never answered. Terrible service with no concern for current customers. got better cover by searching online at over £150 lower than AXA. go elsewhere as they do not care.

Appaling customer service. Everything seemed fine with them until I had to make a claim which has now been going on over 3 months for something so simple. Not one phone call from anyone, you get cut off after 30 mins of being on hold. If you do ever manage to get hold of someone you generally get cut off and they don't ring you back. If you email it can take weeks before they reply. I had submitted all forms and info they had requested and heard nothing. I finally managed to get hold of someone 3 weeks later to be told that my statement, witness etc hadn't even been contacted or sent over the party at fault insurer because they hadn't had anyone in the office and the lady I spike to said she'd been on holiday. AXA are meant to be a major insurer so I'm not sure why only 1 person is in the office dealing with claims. I was told I'd be updated on the 20th June and yet again nobody has been in contact with me still and I've just spent another 30 minutes on hold to be cut off! Disgusting, don't waste your money and go with a far superior company!

I am absolutely appalled by the way AXA Health has handled my case, and I want to warn anyone considering taking out a policy with them: do not do it.There is no empathy, no fairness, and absolutely no customer care here. AXA Health only seem interested in taking your money, and will find any excuse to leave you high and dry when you actually need support. I will never use them again, and I will be telling everyone I know to steer well clear.

Would be zero after being told that because a mouse caused expensive damage in our shed we cannot claim because in the small print it states vermin!!
No food anywhere near, clean and tidy!!
Company is a joke and must be avoided!!
You take insurance out to protect you when it is needed and AXA take the P as it is totally worthless!
DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM THESE COWBOYS!!!

Dreadful communication with emails signed by a different respondent every time I receive one. No one addresses the issues and I’m going round in circles.
