A brilliant idea to get the local community involved in installing our own high-speed broadband. The after-sales and technical helpline are good, and most issues are fixed in an acceptable timescale.... See more

Our community broadband is first class and we feel confident in the service we get from B4RN. We have our VOIP service as well and enjoy the ability to call mobiles and international calls as part of the package.

It may be our range extenders but we get an awful lot of signal drop out that we didn't get with BT

Fantastic coverage and network
Fantastic coverage and network, and very reasonable.
Cant recommend enough, superb!
Great team of people who are local and understand the challenges for rural communities.
Product is superb great speeds and reliable. I work from home and this is a game changer for me. Speed and connectivity is essential and it’s brilliant. Plus when there are any tech issues, calls and solutions are sorted quickly.
Forgotten what B4RN is
The first thing to say is that we hardly think about B4RN at all, but this is really a complement as it indicates that service is (near) 'always-on' and problem-free. I recall a couple of notifications (over 3 years) of outages for upgrades or whatever but these are planned for night-time and have little impact. I'm not harassed with upsell attempts but there is an occasional emailed news story which is of interest. There's been a price increase in the 3-4 years we've had service but I'm still highly satisfied.
Thank God for B4RN
Thank God for B4RN! We could not survive here in rural Cumbria without reliable and strong Wi-Fi. B4RN - thank you so much for your service.
Outstanding proactive customer service
Outstanding proactive customer service, extraordinarily quick broadband and value for money. The community side of there deployment pattern makes this such a differentiated offering

Rock solid
Rock solid, reasonably priced, high specification Internet access.
We’ve been on B4RN for about 10 years; you don’t realise just how good it is until you go on holiday somewhere else, and it’s like stepping back in time!
Excellent service to all properties
B4RN live up to their promise to supply gigabit broadband to every property requiring it. Once installed, customer service has been excellent - and it is so good to talk to people who really can help resolve any problems that might arise.
Good service and very fast…
Good service and very fast communication. So well done. Just a query. Often when I switch on,[probably 4 out of 6 times ] the television goes into testing mode and one has to wait whilst checks complete. Is this normal. This definitely not a complaint, but if I’m doing something to trigger this, I would be grateful for advice as to how to stop it.
Superb service and customer support.

Generally reliable but often lose wifi about 10:30pm for no apparent reason

Recent maintenance done without a hitch!!
Fantastic not-for-profit organisation
Fantastic not-for-profit organisation. Ultra fast and super reliable symmetrical connection. Technical support and fault repair is second to none.
Why would you want to be with any other broadband provider?
I work from home
I work from home, my job requires the ability to download and upload a lot of data quickly. Moving from copper to fibre has been a game changer. Remote Machine Management (RMM) works so well that I might as well be on-site rather than 300 miles away.
Excellent broadband provider
Very easy installation process, excellent performance and first class technical support
