Excellent customer service both on the phone and in-person. Lovely shop in Amersham, not too far from the tube station. However, the price I checked online before heading off to the shop was considerably cheaper than when the salesperson logged into their system (£165 online, £199 on their system, excluding VAT). When I asked why this was the case, I was told that the prices fluctuate online and on their system!? Very strange indeed. Whilst in the shop, I decided to buy another pair and the price that came up both on my phone and their system showed £139 but I was initially billed for £154, excluding VAT. I brought this up with the salesperson I was dealing with and the bill was amended. So, my advice would be to check their prices online first, take a screenshot before heading off to the shops and make sure you check your final bill before paying. Will go back for more as they were happy to amend the bill when pointed out.

Outstanding service
Back in Action Amersham were very quick to respond to a problem with my stressless chair signature base, all sorted out within three working days. Even though I purchased the chair from them in 2018.
Is good movie actually nice to watch but as a Polish person I MUST say that all names was Russian not Polish and accent they spoke was CLEARLY RUSSIAN! I don’t like the fact that creators of the movie wanted to show Polish as a bad guys. ( or if you do that make sure you use Polish names and they speak Polish with Polish accent not Russian)
Poland have nothing to do with Russia . Totally different countries and different types of people. DONT TRY TO SHOW POLISH AS A RUSSIAN NEVER!!!!
Incredible service amazing advice over phone and at the shop I visited and the product is brilliant - i'm noticing the difference to my neck problem already!
The Variable kneeling chair is a great product and my purchase was enhanced by excellent customer service from Diggory.
The range of products and the expertise be they in the shop or on line are highly recommended.
Back in Action are always helpful in their shop although they may carry a limited stock they are always willing to order in shoes to try. In this case I was able to buy a repeat product online which was great!
If you have back problems and you come across Back In Action, I ADVISE YOU TO VISIT IMMEDIATELY.
I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis between L4 and L5 resulting in pains down the back of both legs.
I saw 3 top surgeons privately and all wanted me to have a 'Fusion' or a 'TLif' I think it is sometimes called which involved placing 2 bars, 4 screws and a cage at the base of my spine. Spinal Surgery?? This frightened me beyond belief. I had trained as ballet dancer, worked as a professional dancer ( hobbies were wind-surfing and scuba-diving ) and I was used to injuries. However this was quickly resolved with a couple of visits to an Osteopath, getting some exercises and doing those exercises as I had been disciplined to. Surgeon No. 3 was paticularly pushy saying "You are in a very bad way. Book yourself into The Wellington in the next 2 months dear, as you really need this TLif'.
I had visited Back In Action a few times at this stage and decided I had no choice but to get The Mobiliser I had tried in the shop - after which walking the dog seemed a lot easier. THE MOBILISER HAS LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE.
After 4 months of using it, I went to see the 'underling' of surgeon No.3 at The Royal Neurological Hospital in Queens Square, demonstrating how I could walk on my heels and admittedly I was in far better shape than I had been in February. The consultant said “Well if you don't need this operation, don't have it". I tried to show him how I had become so much better, showing him a pamphlet of the mobiliser, but all he said was "We don't have that equipment here". I had also been to an excellent physiotherapist called Nell Mead, recommended by Back In Action, and with this treatment I had avoided a highly invasive procedure which worked out a lot cheaper than this operation - however it would appear the NHS did not want to know.
Back In Action employees are not on commission so you can stay all day and try out the various equipment with no pressure. I still need my Mobiliser today - 6 years on - I cannot live a 'normal functioning life' without it.
Just loved it. It’s like watching an old fashion action movie from the eighties. Action and humor. A movie you can watch with the entire family.
Friendly and interesting, informative service . The furniture design was intriguing and impressive .
Very helpful staff and went a long way to provide an excellent service.
Best service I’ve had in a shop as far back as I can remember. Ilyana was on her own when we arrived and dealing with a customer on the telephone but she promptly greeted us and said she would be as quick as possible (we didn’t mind waiting). I had gone looking for MBT shoes as recommended by my podiatrist. There was a good display to look at and indeed, the shop itself was very interesting, both the goods and the building.
Once Ilyana was free, she was extremely helpful. I tried different styles of MBT shoes until we decided on my size. She offered a cup of freshly brewed coffee which I enjoyed while I was exploring the shoes. I bought one pair which she had in stock and she ordered another pair to be delivered to my home address to get the right size for me. The delivery was amazingly prompt.
Ilyana also told us about the back massage product which the shop stocks and she was most informative. She also took down my details and sold me the shoes VAT free because they were a medical requirement.
I was very, very impressed.

Very helpful advice from Sianna at the Amersham store. The delivery person was great and I think his name was Andy. Thank you for your patient assistance yesterday when I visited the Amersham store. Sianna gave me an excellent guide on the types of chairs suitable for someone with a chronic back issue. My back has undergone 3 lots of surgery over the years with discs removed and more recently nerve denervation and the latter has not been successful hence the need to replace my old home office chair asap.

I am an occupational therapist and have used Back in Action for years for seating. I finally got to visit the shop today! I was with my autistic teenager, my husband and our support dog.
My goodness I cannot believe it has taken me so long to visit the showroom! It was so beautiful and the staff were so welcoming and child friendly. We must have been in the shop for over an hour being shown all the cool seating, gadgets and really beautiful plush seating that I dream of owning!
My teenager was so happy and made to feel so welcome. His review: “who knew that a chair shop could be so awesome?!”
Thank you so so much to the wonderful Shanna (sorry if I have spelled your name wrong.), you shared my geeky love of seating and how great it is to get the right position for the right person for the right job! <3
Have a wonderful Christmas and new year!

I bought a pair of MBTs online following advice from a friend that they helped her plantar fasciitis. They arrived 2 days later and fit. They are having a positive impact on my painful foot and I have been wearing them exclusively.

An excellent personal service. Was able to 'chat' with a member of staff who was knowledgeable and very helpful. I had a phone call to confirm my order. The shoes arrived the next day. I am recovering from an ankle fusion so am only wearing the shoes for short periods each day. I will definitely use the company again.

The experience and customer service was amazing !
Sadly a part was missing when my chair got delivered.
However, I was immensely impressed by the level of customer service that followed up.
I called them, explained the situation.
The day after, I already got the missing part delivered.
I would really recommend Back In Action to anyone !

I was contacted before despatch of my chair to dobule check that all the ordering details were correct. I was also offered help if I had trouble assembling my new chair. Delivery was very quick. The care and attention before despatching my purchase went above and beyond and I really appreciated this. A really good company to deal with and exceptionally helpful staff.
