Knowledgeable and friendly

Balfe's Bikes provide an excellent service. Always. The team are highly skilled at fixing all kinds of problems with bikes, they're friendly and smiley and even today, I went in with a small valve issue, someone fixed and didn't charge me! Really kind. Highly recommended!

Great deal on bike, but had several issues.

Firstly, the front through axel was over tightened and I was unable to remove the front wheel. Had to return to shop.

Secondly, the rear suspension shock was not charged with air correctly. This has lead to pedal strikes on the floor which is annoying and dangerous. Didn’t have time to return to shop so fixed myself.

Had a full service on a road bike costing £450. Waited a fortnight for it to be completed after which was making a loud clicking when pedalling & the steering was leaning to one side. Take it back. Again had a fortnight wait after which it was returned exactly the same.

The guys were super helpful and fixed my puncture and changed my tyre! Really friendly :)

Jack the mechanic gave me a thorough breakdown on why my gears were shifting badly . Excellent knowledge, polite and helpful even though he was getting ready to go home

Staff were great! Answered loads of questions and went above and beyond to get me the right bike! Top bike shop and top team! Special thanks to Paul!

Great customer service and awesome technical work from Ross in Streatham, he really went over and above to ensure my new groupset was installed perfectly.

Friendly staff and quick and easy collection on GCI.

I was hoping the bike would be set up properly.

Simple things like making sure my hand fitted the grip without the gearshift hurting my thumb.

I purchased a bike toolkit on line and made the adjustments myself so while not major just annoying.

But I thought this was the point of the handover

Also I am 6’5 and 130 kg the suspension forks were given to me in soft position for my weight they needed to be hard but again it was me pointing this out in shop and I am new to this type of bike.

Not rude but definitely looking to take my money and get me away asap - 5 mins care the difference between great and poor service unfortunately the latter in my case

Charged £150 for the service , I bought two new tires and they charged me an additional £70 just to fit them because they were tubeless tires.
From me dropping my bike off, it took them just under two weeks to get it back to me.

Really informative .They made the process easy as I was using a bike2work scheme They did all the paperwork which made it super easy to and I was able to do a test ride before getting the bike.Recommended for good customer service too!

Really great team in Streatham, always happy to help and explain any issues found. Service is extremely polite, professional and respectful. Really pleased this is my local bike shop!

Terrible communication and a complete waste of time. My wife dropped off my Bosch e-bike battery and charger here on a Monday for a simple diagnostic check. I gave them over a week to do the work, and nobody bothered to call me. When I finally chased them up today, they admitted they hadn't even looked at it yet. To make matters worse, they then demanded I bring the entire bicycle in, rather than just bench-testing the battery they had sitting there for days. If you don't have the time or the proper standalone testing equipment, don't take people's gear. I picked up my equipment and will not be returning.

Entire experience was great - bike received great service, all team members exceptionally friendly and helpful.
