My road bike needed a full service including a full change of drive chain. Some parts were on a long leadtime. The guys in the Balfe's workshop were honest and accurate in diagnosing any issues and kept me informed. I took back for a couple of minor adjustments with no issues.

When you spend a fair amount of money on a new bike, you want it to be special. This wasn't.
Your team knew what time I was coming and I mentioned perhaps buying mudguards for it.
It was all a bit shambolic and though I mentioned guards again, they were forgotten as your guy tried selling me torque wrenches instead. No checking saddle height was done either.
May I suggest trying to book slots for collection and having staff available, then have them work (calmly) through a checklist of activities. In the end, I couldn't get away quickly enough. The Bike is great, Balfe's not so much.

I chose Balfe's because their prices were very competitive. I liked the fact that I could order parts and pick them up at a local store. The Staff, were friendly and helpful.

Brought bike in with loose bottom bracket and rattling to the rear hub/cassette area. Had my bike for over a week, ordered a bottom bracket that was not compatible (rectified in a day), and said there was nothing wrong with the rear hub/cassette which I specifically asked about when picking it up. The sprockets where loose, another shop put a spacer in to fix as a temp fix. Why not check? Would be more work and money for you. Why ignore a customer. I could have been stranded or worse if the hub/cassette assembly had failed completely. Fobbed off, it'll be the bottom bracket (yeah I knew that, but also the hub/cassette...just a simple check that the customer asked for repeatedly.

Very welcoming. Answered every question with a clear and understandable answer. Quick efficient and overall a pleasant experience. My now go to bike shop.

Needed prompt replacement of rear inner tube for which I was fully prepared to come back later. However, Curtis was able to see to it immediately and easily identified the cause of the puncture. He was very helpful and informative in addition to being efficient at his job.
