Would not normally get a punctured repaired at the bike shop but was in a rush and they completed very quickly.

Excellent, highly recommend. My bike lock wasn't working and I asked if they could help. It was all sorted out in a few minutes, thank you so much, it is really appreciated. Outstanding customer service.

I was looking for a reliable commuter road bike, the shop team helped me to select bike that would suit my cycling needs and the budget. They also helped to select the right bike size for me. Bike has arrived last Friday, took it for a spin and fits perfectly! Excellent job by the team as always!

I was in trouble; irreparable puncture on a tyre with no inner tube on a Saturday lunchtime leading a ride and they had me sorted in an hour.

Simple exchange for a faulty light. Staff very helpful and exchanged the faulty product for a new one.

Once again the team at Sutton have saved the day. I booked my bike in online not knowing exactly what needed doing but I did know I had made mess of the transmission (Shimano 105). I explained to a very patient Oliver how I had messed things up and he had quick look and reported the chain was well past its sell by date and would give me a call with what else needed doing. True to his word he called me about 30 mins later and explained what needed to be replaced and why and gave an approx. cost to complete the work which I agreed to. Parts were ordered, repairs & adjustments made and today I collected the bike. On riding it, it is completely transformed the gear shift is smooth and the transmission very quiet.
Have used the Sutton shop on several occasions now and each time the communication and quality of the work undertaken has been first rate.
Overall an excellent experience and my thanks to the team at Sutton.

My sister and I recently bought bikes from Balfe's Bikes in Sutton (we had not bought any since the 90s with our dad overseas!) and didn't know what exactly we could get for our money at a lower price point (~£500). We thought that we might want open frame bikes with 3 gear shifters and had been advised in a few other shops that we would probably have to compromise on hydraulic disc brakes. The team here took the time to understand what we were looking for and explained the various features available for a few different models at our price point. We ended up getting the brakes that we wanted on (to our surprise) non-open frame bikes with 2 gear shifters instead of 3 as we had originally thought.

The bikes got delivered in perfect time a day before an event where we were hoping to ride them (we got unexpectedly back into cycling during a trip back home so everything was a bit last-minute).

Throughout the autumn, we have been back to Balfe's Bikes in Sutton to buy accessories (including gloves and water-proof pannier bags to allow us to commute to work comfortably without killing the shoulders with a heavy backpack). The service has been consistently great, and it is always a joy to revisit this store as the team remembers us.

The guys here know their bikes and do a cracking job and keep to their estimate. It was a choice between buying a new bike or complete overhaul, but I didn't want to add to landfill, so chose for repair. But it is like having a new bike.

Not sure why a brand new cycle would have issues

Poor customer service and expensive. Promised me
to give me a call to fix the front light for my e-bike in few days times , but never received call or email. I have paid £ 120 for the full service which is the double the amount I paid in Evans store.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great service and they helped fit fenders onto my bike that were tricky to fit myself. Will definitely be back for servicing and spare parts.

My 1979 Raleigh Chopper was checked and repaired and now rides like a dream
