I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the great customer service! As far as I am concerned, good customer service is one of the pillars that keeps my patronage and provides me comfort in recommending products. We have both a research and clinical laboratory and Kyle Kirwan, the Account Executive Team Leader, was extremely helpful in making sure our orders were followed through to delivery. As you can imagine, Vanderbilt University Medical Center is a pretty busy place these days, and the courtesy phone calls I received from Kyle were really appreciated to assure all was on track and "Good to Go". I was unsure of which model to buy they helped me figure out which was the best fit for my business. Great experience !!
Our salesperson was polite, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about my experience.
1) Part of my order shipped far later than the rest of my order, with no initial explanation from anyone that the item was out of stock.
2) Given that BarTender Software is not in the cloud/online, I had to download it. Fine. What was NOT fine was that, unbeknownst to me (and apparently the salesperson), BarTender Software is not compatible with ARM processor laptops. I had to buy a new laptop JUST to use this software.
3) I have been billed $60.00 twice, months after my order was paid in full, for no apparent reason. I sent an email inquiring what the charge was for and got no answer.
4) The software I was sold, the super basic starter version, is very clunky and non-intuitive. I am not even sure it does what I need it to do, which is GENERATE A BARCODE with a unique number for each product.
5) I received at least 6 different 'order confirmations' for each little thing in my order, meaning that I have multiple order numbers, each with its own invoice, making it cumbersome and repetitive to check the status of shipping.
I finally contacted Seagull Scientific directly about the software end of things and was given a phone number for a Michigan-based vendor that can give me a more helpful experience for my small retail store.

Great customer service! The scanner arrived in a timely manner. I soon discovered it was a defective part and called them. Sent the scanner back, again always great customer service, and received my refund. I was actually late on the return due to the fact that I ended up in the hospital for a couple of weeks. STILL: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
