Barracudas Activity Day Camps Reviews 

Our daughter went for two days at the Tonbridge club. The first day was all good and happy at the end of the day with the different activities. Second day unfortunately there was a young girl (8) who decided to pick on our daughter and proceed with bullying tactics verbally and physically the whole day ruining our daughter’s second day. ( the bully wasn’t there on the first day). The reason we have to give a 2 star is because none of the staff in the whole day picked up on the bully and obviously said nothing, this is not acceptable and hopefully this will be fed back to the Tonbridge staff!

I enrolled my son in the camp last Thursday. While the activities looked exciting, his experience wasn’t quite what I had hoped for. He mentioned there was a Motorsport activity that he would have loved to take part in, but only three of other kids were selected to ride the Jeep, and he wasn’t chosen. He also said there was only one Jeep available.

During the swimming session, although he enjoys being in the water, he doesn’t yet know how to swim. He ended up staying in a corner because he thought the water was too deep. I was hoping someone would have supported or encouraged him a bit—perhaps helped him get more involved or even offered some basic guidance in the water. He also said the water felt very cold.

He did enjoy other parts of the camp and is keen to go again, but I’m also considering trying other SuperCamps to see if they offer a more supportive experience.

I also wanted to mention that he came home wearing two pairs of trousers. He’s only five, and while he’s quite independent, I would expect some support from staff when it comes to changing clothes or using the toilet.

My daughter enjoys the wide variety of activities and all the staff seem very welcoming. Big shout out to Lucy at St Faiths extremely helpful with my enquiry to add another day and making sure my child was still in piranhas! Thank you! A brilliant organised summer camp which takes the stress out of the long holidays.

Absolutely negligent

It was our first time with Barracuda's and my son come home besides himself. My 5 year old was hit, kicked, bullied and verbally abused by other children and the staff on duty haven't even realised it, nor paid attention. He was called a "donkey poo" by other children in the" class " he was put in and been hurt physically. I'm absolutely and beyond words just how disappointing this camp is towards the little children. There may be many good reviews about the order children's parents but it's absolutely shocking how they don't care and look after the little ones. Barracudas may advertise well , but the service they provided is horrendous. Imagine having this as a first experience for your child, and try to send them a summer camp after this , let alone the premium prices you pay ... Only for your child to be hit and kicked .... ! Absolutely negligent, I can't ever recommend this camp or this company to anyone.

This is our first time at the Barrucudas camp and my boys LOVED it!!! All the group leaders and staffs are very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back again!!!

My little one has enjoyed veing part of this holiday club and loves to explore varieties of activities throughout the day! Definitely recommend it!

The admin team are so helpful, they helped me make and change my booking and gave me all the information I needed before I sent my daughter to camp! She was really nervous before going as this is something she’s never done before, but the camp staff were so accommodating and made sure she was included and enjoying herself. She’s already asking me when she can go back!!

Great experience both at camp for my child and with dealing with staff in head office! Both staff on camp and in the office are great at answering queries and making you feel at ease!

I wouldnt even give it a 1 if I could I would give it negatives it is run by teenagers clearly hating it the whole time and when a fight starts they do nothing to prevent it and they ignore the group half the time on their phones waring to all those attending Farintons version they are what I wrote this review about

Day 2 of my son attending barracudas at St Catherines School Twickenham he was assaulted again by the same boy. This time hit in the face with a water bottle. The staff did nothing about this as it appears they would rather not get involved even though the children are in their care.
Think twice before sending your child

We went to Barnet for Easter, unfortunately my daughter lost her new crocks. I wasn't pleased with the fact that they did little to try and find them.

My 5 year old did five non-consecutive days at the Farnham camp over Easter (her first proper holiday camp) and came home happy every day. Staff seemed attentive and child-friendly, facilities were excellent and there were a good number of fun activities to keep the children entertained. We’ll book again, no doubt.

Great,inclusive and fun club for kids.
Staff went that extra mile to support my son with Additional needs and make him feel so happy at the Cambridge long road setting.
The bonus is the club is open until 5.30pm - Great for working parents 👍

My son is 4 and in reception and this was the first activity camp (Woodford) we tried out for him since starting school. We were nervous that he'd be overwhelmed but the staff were really friendly at reception on the first day and he absolutely loved the activities and couldn't wait to go back the following days. It's great to know we have such a good option for the summer holidays - we'll definitely be booking in again.

My 5-year-old daughter had an absolutely fantastic time at the Easter holiday camp! Every day she came home full of excitement, telling us all about the fun activities she got to do. She especially loved the swimming sessions and couldn’t stop talking about the bouncy castle — it was definitely one of the highlights for her!

The staff were friendly, caring, and made her feel really comfortable from the very start. It was so reassuring to know she was in safe hands while having such a great time. We’ll definitely be signing up again for the next holiday camp — highly recommended!

My children love it here, feels very safe organised and friendly. The variety on offer is great especially as they get older.

Great option during the holidays to keep your kids busy whilst you work. My boys love the activities and the whole thing is well run with nice staff

Attended Tonbridge camp with Joe and his team. My son has additional needs and they had no problem at all letting me do his 1-2-1 so he could experience camp with other children and get involved.
They truly offered a phenomenal experience for us and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and involved such as preparing us now and next board, timetable in advance, let us come and go to choose sessions that would work, we adapted the sessions to enable us to participate, they made a big fuss of my son which made him feel good about himself even when he couldn’t join in. It was really a fantastic camp. The staff are all great, every single one was really committed to giving the children the best experiences - one in particular was Louise in our first week - she absolutely went above and beyond to help all the kids, she was really knowledgeable, had good boundaries with the kids and quickly improvised when things didn’t go to plan or the kids needed a different direction. Being open to change, flexible to adapting the sessions ment that every child benefited from the classes not just mine. All the kids laughed and engaged - even the ones initially résistent which was great to be a part of.
The staff at Tonbridge genuinely care and are very passionate about what they do - a very rewarding position for the staff and breath of fresh air for us parents - huge thank you and will see you again in October camp.

My daughters love camp. They had an amazing time filled with fun games and incredible coaches.
