We are absolutely over the moon with our new kitchen. From start to finish the team at Barras were so professional. Nothing was too much trouble. The designing of the kitchen, communication and workmanship was first class. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company!

We engaged Barras to strip out our old bathroom and to install a new one. John, James, Gary and Malcolm were all brilliant from start to end. At all times they treated us with the utmost respect, were exceptionally patient, guided us to make our own decisions but with technical expertise and support and the finished product was wonderful. They answered all of our questions promptly, our quote was itemised and was very clear and the work took 3.5 weeks to complete which was within the timeframe promised. We went on holiday whilst the work was started and trusted them implicitly in our absence. They updated us on the work prior to our return and contacted us with key questions where necessary, rather than just proceed with work. The also used their initiative for other works which was spot on every time. There were a few minor snagging points which were immediately tended to with a smile. Great value and lovely people to deal with.

I had a Crown kitchen and Amtico flooring fitted.
Barras are a real quality service provider - everyone that I came into contact with from showroom to trades were superb. Of course during any kitchen and flooring installation there will be unforeseen problems, but the Barras team always came quickly with a solution before they even let me know there was a problem- a real refreshing change.
The products and installation are excellent. The advice during design was really valued.
Overall I would thoroughly recommend.

An excellent job produced by professional fitters. This is the second project they have completed for us.

Whilst there was quite a long lead in time before work commenced(due to a heavy workload), the wait was well worth it.
From initial meeting, to provision of a quotation (and excellent pictures of the proposed layout),installation commenced on the agreed date and was completed on time and within budget with no fuss or drama.

We are very satisfied with the completed installation and would have no reservation about recommending or using BARRAS HOME IMPROVEMNTS again in the future.

We recently had a complete new bathroom fitted by Barras and Ican honestly say each and everyone involved was excellent and I cannot praise them enough. They were professional throughout, worked above and beyond to make sure every aspect was spot on. The fitter, electrician, plasterer, plumber and painter a big thank you to all, not forgetting all those behind the scenes, Gary and James who made sure it all ran smoothly. Absolutely first class attention to detail in re organising our new shower and toilet and sink re-positioning. Excellent workmanship and we are very pleased. Having already had a kitchen, bathroom and cloakroom fitted by BHI at our old house we did not hesitate to ask them back to fit a new kitchen, bathroom, utility room and en suite when we moved. This company went out of their way to source the tiles that we had selected and advise from the vast choice of sanitary ware
We are delighted with the products and the company visited our home several times during the installation, customer service was excellent
The workmen were very helpful when asking for advice re exact positioning of accessories etc

New kitchen took longer than expected but the end result is worth it. Several problems along the way (mainly due to an old house) but BHI were able to advise and resolved all the issues that arose. Everyone was friendly and professional. On time, tidy and above all a great bunch to work with.
