Difficult to join online outside the Netherlands
Basic Fit website only allows you to join a Netherlands club. Despite there being clubs in France it would not recognise any clubs existed in France.
Had to go on a long complicated Chat Bot exercise to finally get a human to answer. He gave me a link to the French site. The Basic website needs the links for other countries to be shown.

we opted out for a flexible alternative to be able stop or payse the membership anytime and decided to pay 10€ more monthly for that flexibility.
But after I receive an email from BASIC-Fit saying that I can freeze only 2 times and only for 4 weeks.
This is unacceptable

I’ve been going to the new Basic-Fit in Jerez (Calle de las Ciencias 14, right next to McDonald’s) and I’ve had a really positive experience so far.
The gym is very clean and feels like a brand-new facility, which makes it a much nicer place to train. It’s also not overcrowded, so you can use the equipment without having to wait around.
The location is super convenient, with plenty of parking available nearby, making it easy to fit workouts into a busy schedule. On top of that, the membership is very affordable, offering great value for money.
What stood out the most was the customer service—the staff have been friendly, approachable, and helpful whenever needed.
Overall, a great gym: modern, clean, affordable, and well-managed. I’d definitely recommend it.
