Received Hercules Guitar hanger within 3 days and I now have it mounted on the wall which was easy to install and it works really well. I would recommend this guitar hanger for all bass players which also helps declutter the music room.

I travelled from the Blue Mountains (NSW) especially to put hands on what would be my new 5 String bass. I'd done a lot of online research and decided the only way to really know what I'm getting would be to actually play the bass. I don't know of a bass shop with as good range as the Bass Centre, so the decision to travel was easy.

I wandered into the shop (wife in tow) at a very busy time. I was promptly greeted and asked what I could be helped with. Having stated my need for a 5 string and nominating a pretty generous budget range, I was shown to an amp (a lovely Darkglass) and brought a procession of basses I wished to trial. Some inexpensive, some not so. I didn't want to miss a good bass by being prejudiced by price.
An hour later the shop had emptied and I was left with a difficult choice of two really nice basses of satisfactory shape, playability, weight, sound, colour, etc. I bought a black Sandberg. It suits my playing and it wasn't even the most expensive!

All the staff had been involved at some stage and I am grateful for their patience and good advice along the way. Nothing seemed to be too much bother, even in the busy period. They shipped the bass to me at first opportunity after the long weekend and it arrived at 10am next day. Can't do much better than that.

This is my second perfect experience with the Bass Centre. You may find a bass cheaper online, but there is no substitute for trialling a bass in person, or the excellent personal service the Bass Centre offers.

Thank you to all the staff involved on the day and the chap I spoke to in the week before about string spacing (sorry - I'm hopeless with names).

We went on the internet to get what Darryl needed and as we have visited the Bass Centre we went straight to the website. It was instant reply from them. I would encourage musicians to visit their websight.

Bass Centre delivered an excellent bass at a great price. The guitar arrived in excellent condition, was nicely set up and even in tune. I was a touch concerned during shipping as the updates didn't quite match where the instrument actually was. However, the the gentleman at the depot called the driver so I could directly collect my bass rather than wait for it to be processed.
