Friendly and professional
The optician was very friendly. My son had an eye test and scan and she explained what the scan looks for and then showed us the scan on the screen. Very professional service.

Lost the personal touch
Been coming here for years and have never had a problem. This visit, although fine in itself had lost the personal touch, it was very matter of fact, maybe something lost with being bought out by a larger chain. I didn’t feel like the optometrist listened and I had to reiterate my point several times to be heard. I needed a new prescription for glasses so went down to look at new frames. I felt rushed and was told ‘they’ll turn the lights and music off in 2 minutes’. If this is the case, ask me to come back, don’t try and rush me into spending £700 on something that I’m not 100% sure of! I have been a patient of this branch since 1989 and despite all the changes of ownership, have been happy here. This latest visit has made me seriously think about changing opticians.

Sadly, unable to justify the costs of frames and lenses inhouse. Two pairs of glasses with Zeiss lenses purchased elsewhere at a significant lower cost.

My experience regarding the service I…
My experience regarding the service I received was great, because it’s my first time using this service and I was very nervous, however, the staffs were very friendly,smiling with me and this made me feel less nervous. I received heartfelt service from all especially when choosing my glasses. Things was explained to me in a way that I could understand and my questions was answered regarding my eyes health and recommendations were made that I believe was of great benefit to me. I was given appropriate time to made decisions regarding my care and was able to video call my family member to support me.
To conclude: The service I received and my experience was very patient focused and I was listen to and heard, there was not a time I felt as if I was invisible. The staffs all checked in on me to the point of offering me a cup of tea, which I truly appreciate and enjoyed. There was so many more I could say but being dyslexic made it difficult to put into words and even this was taken into consideration when I was receiving my patient centre care.
