Eye test
I had a thorough eye test.
Great help in choosing frames etc and the fitting on receipt with adjustment just right. Very comfortable fit. Much better than my last ones.

First visit following takeover of Lings
I had been using Lings opticians for 40+ years so was a little anxious/sceptical before my first visit to Bayfields, following their takeover of Lings. I shouldn’t have worried as Stephen was personable, professional and efficient.

Thorough and informative
I went to Bayfields for a regular contact lens and sight check. The optician was very thorough and explained what he was doing at each stage. There were several parts of the testing and checking, which took nearly an hour to complete. I had confidence in what he was doing and was pleased that he took such care and did not rush through any of the process.

Bayfields are the most professional opticians I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Bayfields are the most professional opticians I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. They diagnosed cataracts in both eyes and arranged the surgery. Previous eye specialists (not sure how professional an 18 year old was extensively and nationally advertised), completely misdiagnosed. Plus Bayfields checked my hearing and diagnosed Tinnitus and now referred to doctor and hospital.The other people announced I was profoundly deaf in one ear. Definitely wrong on that as well.
