Hideous company. Spent too much money and can't even qualify now. What do I do now they've liquidised?? They didn't even bother claiming my units.

I am also in the same boat, was just about to send coursework over and my emails kept bouncing back,I then went online to find the company has gone bust.

I don’t even know where to begin to get my money back!

Such a waste of time and money.

So I am seeing reviews about beabetteryou company. I am coming towards the end of my level 2 and 3 also and cannot got in contact with anyone. I am so shocked! Does anyone Know what’s going on?

As like everone in here. My level 3 was near to finish in january. All the hours went for that course has come to nothing.

I am now stuck paying for a qualification for the next 2 years that I have. I chance of getting.. I actually did pass my L2 but they haven't issued the certificates! Tried to find the open fb group but couldn't...

I am in the same boat - I was just about to pass Level 2 and have paid in full and just received the letter saying the company is in liquidation. I am not sure how many of us there are but we should all pull together to discuss the best way to handle this. I am not sure whether we can transfer to another provider as I have done the majority of the Level 2 work and passed all the workbooks (just had to do the physicals) and I've just started Level 3 too. I just created an open group on Facebook - it's called "Be a Better You liquidation" - hope you can find it.

I am super angry too!

Like most of you, I have sent course work in and have heard nothing. Some digging has lead me to find out Be a better you have gone bankrupt.

You need to contact YMCA as they are the governing body.

I have done this today and have no idea where I stand with what I have already passed and what I can do in regards to getting my money back.

i sent in my last bits of level 2 corrections and I haven't heard from my tutor in over 3 weeks, my emails are not sending to neither my tutor or the main support. i cannot contact them as the phone number is unavailable. It also stats on the website it is permanently closed??

i have my whole of Level 3 to get finished!!! i am worried this is now not going to get completed?

i have paid in full, has the company gone bust?

I have a deadline for the 2nd November and it seems the company is dissolved. All emails bouncing and phone numbers not active anymore. I’m fuming, this is affecting my work big time!

I’m in the same position I started my course on the 5th of June this year and I have my practical left to go and the last I heard from my tutor was the 7th of October and cannot get a response. I’ve tried numbers and emails but nothing!! And the address is now a leisure centre with the same name, did some digging the company Be a better you franchising applied to be dissolved in late June This year and dissolved in September I’m absolutely fuming and I feel so sick I paid in full and they have completely Breached their contract!!! .😡😡😡 what I did is i contacted citizens advice bureau and they told me to write a letter to the company to start with. so anybody in the same boat get some advice from them.if anybody wants to talk and is in the same boat I’m on Facebook kristyknowles

Can anyone tell me if these people actually exist anymore? My son is mid course (after having paid in full!) but can’t get any reply from tutors OR get in touch with anyone from the company.

I started my Be a Better You Level 2 and Level 3 course with a passion but no knowledge of the industry!
I left 8 weeks later with a solid gold pass mark, qualified as a Fitness Instructor and a Personal Trainer, and armed with more knowledge than I could ever have imagined having. This is all thanks to my tutor Nick, who was so kind, professional and fantastic at teaching us! I made great friendships while I was there, and always felt so supported. I wouldn't hesitate to do future courses with Be a Better You again, and will forever be thankful that I chose them to study with! Thank you guys for all your help :)

I chose Be a Better You as they offered classroom learning which I feel is important. The trainers were great fountain of knowledge, (Nick and Gabby) and I was impressed at how much their technique was delivered. Even practical info and assisting to ensure the highest level of training for when training clients.

The after care I found to be poor since passing, no guarantee of interview despite the promises, no assistance with photos and website which was part of my package.
There has been a turnaround of staff in admin and so far trying to just get away with not giving what I agreed to!
If this can be resolved a 5 star, but I've been patient while they recruited, to be told it's not a service they now offer! Disappointed.

i passed my level 2 and 3 PT with Be A Better You, honestly everyone was so nice and helpfull, before i started the course i thought i will never pass but the help and support i got from the staff and teachers made it easier for me. i really recommend them to anyone wants to do PT. and also the price was really great compare to other companies. thank you so much Be A Better You

Very good course

Don't seem to be interested in dealing with complaints in a timely manner.
Face to face course is overpriced and unnecessary if you have a basic knowledge of gym based exercise.
Structure of the course is absurd and the answers to an entire workbook was clearly published online by the company that produced it and it was not even password protected.
Attitude of admin staff was moronic at best.

Amazing course options and study options. Allowed me to study while working full time, and at a really reasonable price. The course content was relevant and up to date. My tutor Matt has been such a great support and Be A Better You have been amazing! I will be back for more courses!

Had a absolutely wonderful time. Learnt everything I needed to become a PT.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in working in fitness industry

I've travelled to the UK to improve my knowledge of the fitness industry and chose be a better a you. The course covered numerous subjects from nutrition to physical fitness to dealing with different kinds of clients.The access to the gym made the course more tangible and allowed me to perfect everything studied and put it into practice.highly recommended if your interested in a holistic health and fitness career.
