Beware of their auto-renewal policy, you’re stuck with the charge (and the membership) regardless of how quick you are to cancel. My membership renewed in June, I canceled a week or two after I saw the charge, and now I’m stuck with the program until June 2025. Terrible business practice. Stick with the numerous amazing free workout programs you can find on YouTube.

Same story: They claim they send a notice prior to renewal but I have never received it. They are loosing loyal customers purely because of greed. I am curious to see how long they can stay in business and make money purely using their auto renewal system.

Do I even have to leave a star. Worst company ever. Tried canceling my membership for months. Still shipped the product. Charged my credit card and told me it has not shipped yet but to late to cancel. For real been trying to cancel more 3 months! Worst MLM company ever!! Now they’re going to charge me 12 dollars for a product to return! I did not this product! I found a way better company!! Impossible to cancel your membership with! MLM biggest scam company ever! No they lie!! They never send an email about before shipping products!! So don’t let them fool you in what they respond back! Biggest fraud company I ever seen! FYI: The company will lie about sending out emails when they respond to this review if they do. All they do is lie and don't believe me check out Better Business Bureau reviews about them. Wow!! It wasnt even suppose to be delievered!! Changed the mailing label but couldnt stop a shipment. Never home and now to deal with a package I did not want and now have to find time to send it back where there no fedex near me! Worst company ever!

This has got to be the most unethical company. Their auto renewing system is the worst. They claim they send a notice 30 days prior but I can prove that I have never received it, not even in my spam folder. I got charged today and called within hours to cancel to get a refund but because I am not a new customer they refuse? It is crazy how new customers get hooked and then customers who have been paying for years get scammed. I will be contacting a lawyer in regards to this considering there are hundreds with the same experience from this company. Claiming a billing statement was sent 30 days prior when it never was sent (and I did my due diligence and checked all my inboxes) has be to be violating some type of law. And Beachbody don't bother replying to this review with the same excuses you are commenting on all your other negative reviews, I don't care for them, and you can try to tell me I received an e-mail, but as stated I never did.

Very bad business ethics. Taking advantage of people.
Price increase, change in terms and conditions and an auto renew they won't refund.
I cancelled previously but thought I'd give the shake another go last July, my neighbour who was a coach at the time said I had to sign up again to get the shake but that I could cancel it afterwards which I did. Looking back at the cancellation email now, it confused me becuase it does say that I cancelled the shakology and also mentions shake and hustle which I thought was the digital side of it - not the case. I also recall trying to delete my card details on several occasions but couldn't, couldn't get through on the phone and then thought that I may re-order the shake at some point so I left it - a VERY bad decision. My neighbour stopped being a coach. I was passed over to someone else as a coach, they messaged me but I wasn't interested at that point and that's the first and last contact made. Then, 2nd July 2024, £179.00 left my account. They said I've read a renewal email but I have located it and it's unread on my screen, it looks like the many other marketing/spam emails I receive from them, it wasn't obvious. I've stated that I havent used it and I don't want it and their review process will not refund because their (unfair, misleading and changing without acknowledgement) terms and conditions say they can decline a refund. Needless to say, I can't look my neighbour in the eye either. When I have just gone in to make sure it's cancelled online it is so convoluted, so they have said I can cancel but I won't receive a refund so I will still have access for 12 months, I don’t want the access, I just want my money back. If I purchased it as one bundle, why should I have to cancel it as two separate things? I didn't purchase on a credit card, just a debit card. This has given me significant stress and I can't afford £179 for nothing. I wish I had never got involved with this unscrupulous company.
Update: Despite the standard diatribe below, I did not open the email and believe it is an unfair way to treat customers who want to cancel. Keeping a years subscription money; There could be a compromise but you choose to keep the money knowing that people don’t want your service. A month would be fair but greed takes over. I stand by my original comment.

Automatic Renewal
They automatically renew you and WILL NOT cancel this renewal. They send out an email that dosen't even represent that it is a renewal notice and spam additional emails. Initial yearly plan was 99.00 and this year they auto renewed for 242.00 and refuse to reimburse because DIGITAL payment does not allow for 30 days money back. This is their reponse "We didn't receive any requests to cancel the BODi Annual Membership until 06/28/2024 via phone support or self-service. Hence, you had been charged $215.00 + tax on 06/21/2024..

On the third day after an auto renewal hit my charge card Bodi REFUSED to take the charge off. I looked everywhere for a renewal email but couldn’t find it. My first year was $99-renewal was $179- They incurred NO out-of-pocket expense and still wouldn’t issue a refund. This is HORRIBLE customer service, so you’ve been advised.

Originally had a subscription for $99 from 2020 - 2022. In 2023 apparently they changed the name of the program and billed me $179. I didnt catch it as I had not been using that email account. This year May of 2024 I did notice the charge of $179 on my Credit Care. I tried numerous times to reach a BODi and they do not make ot easy, After finally connecting they told me the email they used and I said it was in active and I did not authorize this charge. Keep in mind they forward bill for time that hasn’t happend yet and could easily try to do the right thing with a credit.
They are refusing and trying to enforce the charge.
Horrible service at to do business by scamming consumers with tricky auto renewals

Awful company I have just been charged £179 on auto renewal for something I do not use or want.
I did not receive an email saying it was coming up for renewal. I actually thought I had cancelled it when I cancelled being a partner but I was then apparently just moved on as a customer!
It wiped my bank account out and when I complained I was given the usual small print quotes. It was a genuine error I thought it was cancelled at the same time. As I haven’t used the programmes I haven’t logged into the account so had no idea about this.
You can’t actually speak to a real person on the phone, all through email so there is no compassion and I felt like I was speaking to a robot.
I actually initially liked what the company did with workouts but now would never go near this again.
People making a lot of money out of this and it seems there are no ethics.

I want to share wiht the people that are charged the 179 and try to cancel right away. We are being told that they 30 day refund is not valid for renewals. Well that is not what it says at the bottom of the renewal email that is sent disguised as a typical advertisement titled "Your next year of results with BODi".
If you already disputed it dispute again and include the renewal email stating at the bottom "Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. Like anything at BODi, you have a full 30-day money-back guarantee." I mentioned that the statement falls in line with false advertisement statutes.
After sending that I got an email; that said they would refund me my money.
Hope this helps!

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE. This company will not have anyone to speak to and make it extremely difficult to cancel memberships. They will claim that they sent you a notification for renewal but THEY DO NOT SEND RENEWAL NOTIFICATION. Upon charging, they will tell you that it already surpassed the 30 day timeline for cancellation and they stick to their policies that you agreed but they do not stick to their own policy of sending notifications. THEY WILL LIE ABOUT IT. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT SUBSCRIBE.
06/24/24 - PAY ATTENTION READERS: Beachbody replied to the review with their standard responses. Just read the reviews here. Their 30-day money back guarantee wording is deceiving and they do not send notifications as they claim.

I would have given zero stars if it were an option. I actually thought the workouts provided on the platform were good and I appreciated the opportunity to workout from home. I found value in the product for a few years but then decided to go back to a gym. When I joined the company was under a different name and has actually changed names twice since I joined, so when renewal time came I was unaware. Due to the name change I did not open the email announcing renewal. I canceled my subscription the day I noticed the charged which has now doubled from my original price. Since the charge is for services for the next year, the company canceled as requested but was unwilling to refund! It is extremely unprofessional and unethical for a company to be willing to keep a profit for a service not rendered. When I contested with my credit card company , Bodi sent false information stating that I had used the platform on a specific date that was completely false. It is unfortunate that Bodi is more concerned with keeping a few dollars over customer service and willing to falsify information and take advantage of customers for profit all under the guise of “legal loopholes” .

I cancelled my membership on the same day it was to renew. I also never received any email reminder that it was up for renewal and didn’t realize it automatically enrolls you into automatic renewal when you subscribe. I called and was told my subscription doesn’t qualify for a refund. Horrible costumer service and deceiving product renewal policies. Buyer beware!

I was never notified that my account was up for renewal (you can say that BODi sends them, but I checked my spam as well and I received nothing). I wanted to cancel it before then (because they ALWAYS have a deal that I miss out on because I renewed a month prior or two, which I don't love that it screws customers previously committed, but I get it.....it's a promo (still, when I paid $140 for a year and then there's a buy one get two more years shortly after or a new program with a promo, that hurts)
Anyways, I find from my bank statement that I was charged and immediately cancelled my membership. My BODi account was turned off and i could no longer access programs. I waited for a refund, but it never came.
I called in only to find out that you do not provide refunds on auto-renewals (which I think we know very well that you can), only 1st time purchases...so essentially, unless I called, you were going to KEEP $191 (which I thought that it was $170 for the following years, still a HUGE increase from $99 it used to be) and revoke access, essentially keeping money for services not provided.
It is sad to say that after 10 years of believing in you, I honestly will not endorse Bodi ever again. The company has long past what it originally stood for

When I believed to have canceled automatic shake delivery and the membership, a year later the membership fee of $179 was charged to my account.
Their customer support person could only forward me to a dispute form. The company claimed to have sent a reminder email but the membership info was hidden far into the email and had an unclear subject line. I’ve never had a membership that threw the terms in your face and had zero flexibility, with their decision being “final with no recourse.” Terrible customer service and they’ve lost a customer.

This company will charge you yearly and not let you cancel. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL. Their reply means you can cancel after the YEAR.

Do not subscribe to Beachbody or Bodi as they call it now. This company is a scam. A subscription renewal was charged for $179 from an Account that hasn’t been used in 4 years, tried to cancel the same day it charged my spouse was told no, it’s not possible to do so. The representative then canceled the account removing access to something I paid for. I made a complaint and was told a refund is not possible but they will “reinstate” access to the account for the year just paid for. This is not what was wanted as I have not used the crappy service in years. The products aren’t anything special and the customer service is horrendous. They claim to send “reminders” for subscription renewals and when it’s supposedly missed they charge you over a hundred dollars and basically say sorry too bad we sent you an email. Bogus business, hope they go out of business soon. Anyone looking for workout or nutritional guidance should use literally any other company. I personally have had luck with YouTube, using free videos. I’ve also found that other fitness/healthy living companies have much more to offer, better customer service and real solutions to unsatisfactory experiences. Stay far away from this scam artist company.

This company is a scam. It's been impossible to cancel my subscription: I consistently got error messages while trying to do it, their customer service is inexistent (emails returned, the UK branch does not even have a phone line). I've deleted by credit card from my account not to be charged any more and they remained charging me for nearly a year. Now they don't want to give me a refund. I wish I had read these reviews before. Stay away from them.
There is no way to follow up on the formal complaints I've submitted. Who should I talk to? There is no phone number of contact information for the UK. The poor customer service of Bodi UK has severely damaged the good reputation this company used to have in the US.

I have been using BeachBody or Bodi for the last 7 years. I first started with 21DayFix DVD program and later used the OnDemand service. I enjoy the Fixate Recipes and use them to cook family meals. I try to follow the workout plans and and stick to the container method. I do wish there was more community to connect with for accountability.

You cancel and they still charge you stating that they don't offer refunds. The worst customer service, no one to call. I cancelled the monthly shakes but you still have to cancel the yearly membership, they make it very difficult to get out and depend on you not noticing the last charge of $179. Despicable nasty customer service and products don't work.
